“Pretty hardcore PVP...” - I don’t know how much I’ve been playing, but I haven’t seen PVP, I think I missed something in the game)) That is, the game, according to the author, is online, and there’s hardcore PVP in it?

Barmaley

damn, seriously? guide? Yes, you figure it out on the fly, and it sucks. Wasn’t it an option to spend a day to figure it out, and then cut it out? about stats - finally a shame, screwed up Persian.

Andrey Ukrainchuk

You need to understand the issue before making “guides”. Disgusting

Sergey Vyard

I was looking for a guide, started watching this video, saw the stats of the main character, closed the video.

Vladislav Rybtsev

Normal video. I don't understand why there are so many dislikes.

Alexander Alexandrov

My 5 cents:
Ting -> market ->..->lvl 3 = merchant Ava Blind, trades at a loss, as a result of which, if desired, you can rob her, a kind of test of morality). I ruined it for the skins, but didn’t touch the rest, as for me it was the most valuable. Wood, debris, potions, skins, valuables.

Ivan Selivanov

what kind of guide? Ppt.. throwing a stone (3 points in total) .. gives a debuff, and there’s a backstabber, or whatever it’s called (gives +50% damage to the one who has the debuff).. and since throwing a stone is free, here you go imba. Then, when you sail to another continent, create an archer with imba stats of 10 insight and the rest in endurance and agility. Without a stone - nowhere. Without forging, there’s absolutely nowhere, the loot that is there is crap. Top stuff can only be crafted

Yuri Makarov

Is there a difference in the ships? Which one is best to build? and does the appearance of the ship change?

Alexey Vorobiev

My main character is a shield warrior and a second shield warrior, then a spearman +2 archers + a witch for healing, you can plug into any hole

Konstantin Antipin

Hello everyone, I don’t understand something, I fucked off some ghosts in a cave, and the next day the game (in the camp) ended, what is this?

Alexander Zboev

I don't agree! You need to master blacksmithing! The best weapons in the game are forged especially during the campaign against Britain, because... everything that happens in the game at this level is many times worse. Even on average difficulty, the archers of the heroes are not bad at clicking, 1st turn is enough. There are those that I agree with, 3 shield warriors, 1 with a pike, 1 archer, 1 healer with a sling, sleep.

Alexander Zembelstolts

I didn't notice... Did you complete the quest with the rats? If it passed, how? And dual weapons rule... There are two counters against shield fighters: “hook” and “take away shield”. I go with two with dual weapons, one with a shield, two bowmen, one healer. The doctor practically does not fight...

Dungeon Keeper

I have Reske running around with a knife, when the opportunity arises to stun her with impunity and let her down, he makes a very good finishing blow. Does anyone know how to complete Nefya’s quest *spoilers* the part where she had a bad dream, well, that’s why we rushed from Europe back home and there her sister got sick and sent us to the witch, and the witch’s translator broke down and she told us something, and what we didn’t understand was because we were often hit on the head. Where should we go? Whom to beat?

Expeditions: Viking is a new tactical RPG about Vikings with an open world, crafting, trading, construction and, of course, battles - a lot of battles.

Expeditions: Viking review

Studio Logic Artists, whose brainchild is the game Expeditions: Viking, I have known her for quite a long time. A few years ago, I played through their first game with great pleasure - Expeditions: Conquistador. Therefore, the review of Expeditions: Viking that you are reading now was not spontaneous - I knew that I would definitely not miss the next game in the Expeditions series from Logic Arts. However, while I thoroughly enjoyed the first title in the series, Expeditions: Conquistador was far from perfect. It is quite obvious that from their new game about Vikings I expect, at a minimum, to correct the shortcomings that I noticed in the first game of the series.

Concept and history

I really love the Viking theme. I read a lot of books on this topic, watched probably all the more or less shameless films and TV series about Scandinavian sailors, and played most of the games that were released about them. And I even made a selection - games about Vikings. In general, the likelihood that I would not like the concept was close to zero. The concept of Expeditions: Viking, however, does not try to please the player with anything special. This is a typical Scandinavian settlement, with a normal way of life and surroundings. The world itself leans more towards realism and devotes an absolute minimum to mythology and magic. There are witches and artifacts in the game, but the former are simply healers, and artifacts in Expeditions: Viking are nothing more than quality items and nothing more. In general, complete realism.

The story seemed banal to the point of disgrace. Either because I just recently saw exactly the same plot in another game about Vikings - The Great Whale Road, or because it really is like that. The protagonist's father died during a raid and now the burden of managing the settlement falls on our shoulders. Here's the connection. Next they will try to entertain us with all sorts of sidequests, which boil down to the classic “go there, bring this.” You can figure out for yourself how much fun it is. I must admit that the plot is depressing. In this aspect, Expeditions: Viking loses even to The Great Whale Road, which, to be honest, I didn’t really like.

Gameplay

Gameplay Expeditions: Viking games can be divided into two parts - battles and intervals between battles. In the first case, we are offered quite solid tactical battles, which are equipped with everything necessary - special attacks, bonuses from cover, bonuses for encircling the enemy, traps, interaction with the environment, different types of attacks and much, much more. At first glance, the battles really amaze you with their complexity, and you even give up a little when you think that you will have to study and think through all this. However, for better or for worse, you won’t have to think too hard here. Despite the apparent complexity of the battles in Expeditions: Viking, they are mastered in just a couple of hours. As you progress through the game, battles become more difficult, but not from the point of view of the tactical actions of the opponents - they simply become stronger and more numerous. However, the combat in Expeditions: Viking is, in my opinion, much better than most of the competition in the genre. They are slow, they are not very diverse, but, one way or another, they provide the opportunity and require the player to think at least a little and select the right tactics for certain opponents.

As for the second half of the gameplay of Expeditions: Viking, then everything is even more prosaic - our entire horde of Vikings, led by the main character, moves around locations, pulling out all sorts of not particularly necessary objects from barrels and boxes, talks with different people, enduring tedious and not very interesting dialogues, and also moves around the global map. In the global map mode, it is worth noting the halts, during which it is possible to distribute tasks to each of the characters and then all this is visualized for us on the screen.

Leveling up and crafting

Leveling up in Expeditions: Viking is done very well. In addition to the usual weapon skills, there are also special skills not related to combat - such as healing skills or the ability to cook food, as well as additional perks. The interesting thing is that points are given not after receiving a level, but immediately after performing one or another action. Have you won the battle? Here's some experience points for you. Finished the quest? Here's a little more for you. Thus, you have to do pumping constantly - on the one hand, it’s convenient, but on the other, it’s very dreary. As for crafting, it seems to be there, but I can’t say that it makes life much easier or makes the gameplay of Expeditions: Viking more diverse. The fact is that crafting, just like healing, repairs and all other useful things, can only be done during rest stops while in the camp. Therefore, sometimes, when you need an item that could be crafted, it turns out that it is impossible to do it right here and now. It was necessary, they say, to think about this in advance. But I personally don’t have the gift of foresight, do you?

Graphics and sound

Graphically Expeditions: Viking, of course, gives a huge head start to its predecessor - Expeditions: Conquistador. I can't say that I really like the way Expeditions: Viking looks, but the fact that it meets the unspoken standards of modern games is certain. However, I will still note that the textures of the characters and the overall appearance of the locations look very, very modest. There is nothing to admire here from the word “at all”. The sound, to be honest, does not evoke any particular desire to describe it and focus attention on it. All actions are voiced as they should be voiced. The only thing that bothered me was Not quite suitable voice acting for some characters , which makes it seem like you're playing some kind of parody game about Vikings, and not the serious one that it really is.

Expeditions: Viking review summary – is it worth playing?

My review of Expeditions: Viking has come to an end, which means it’s time to answer the main question that I traditionally pose to myself in the process of work. Is Expeditions: Viking worth playing? Worth it, but with reservations. You should clearly understand that this is a game where you will read a lot of text and go through a lot of dialogue, most of which is not interesting and does not make any sense at all in terms of understanding the world of the game or the plot. They simply exist because the developers took the time to write them. After some time, I caught myself thinking that I first read every line, and then just skipped without reading. And it seems to me that I didn’t lose very much. The game is also very difficult to balance. Moreover, this statement is relevant not only for battles, but also for the distribution of priorities in terms of gameplay. Expeditions: Viking has a lot of cool features - construction, crafting, leveling, trading, etc., but exactly half of these features are just there. You don't particularly need them, and the game doesn't really insist that you remember them. The plot develops very slowly and personally did not arouse much interest in me. In other words, I can recommend the game Expeditions: Viking, but only if you love the Viking theme and have nothing against games that give you content and interesting things very reluctantly, in small portions and rather leisurely.

Cheats for items and adding unique properties in Expeditions: Viking

giveitem [character name] [item type] [item level] [special property] – give an item of a certain level to the specified character;

Explanation of brackets:

Giving an item certain properties in Expeditions: Viking

imbue [character name] [slot] [property]– endow a specific armor of a specified character with a unique property.

Explanation of brackets:

  • [character name] – we are talking about the hero’s identification number, that is, the above names (Followers/Wolf, Followers/ShieldMaiden, and so on), it can also be replaced with party (the item is given to the group);
  • [slot] – you can specify a helmet, talisman, armor, shield or weapon: bow, knife, spear, daneaxe, sling, sword.

When used on armor, you can also choose: ArmorOil (+mobility), ArmorWebbing (+consumables), HardenedLeather (fire resistant), ArmourPadding (poison resistance) and ArmourOintment (health regeneration). List of all other cheats/codes for Expeditions: Viking

  • advancetime [n] – time control (so you can change the current time to the number of specified hours). You can use negative values, that is, if you specify advancetime -24, then yesterday will come. Change the time carefully, otherwise you may cause famine in your tribe.
  • spawn character – character spawn.
  • spawn party – group spawn.

Location of stones for the quest "Island of Apples"
1. Legatsestir (Chester)
2. Coastal Village (Scorborough)
3. Swamp
4. Inglewood
5. Dun Fries
6. Donnkorka's yard
7. Lindisfarne is the church you go to rob, with other Viking ships. to show the Northumbrians who the daddy is. The one to which you are sailing on a ship.

On the island that you find in the quest “Island of Apples” there is a generous merchant, constantly selling her something, and buying it back, you will eventually leave her with nothing. The developers did not calculate it. This can be said to be a cheat.
But this must be done before you take the sword. Because then she will have to be killed.

There is also an ancient breastplate with a 10% chance of automatically resurrecting after death.
And Excalibur, whose attacks cannot be blocked.

Village for the quest "The Last March"
In order to find a village you need:
1. Find the medallion near the burnt house in the Swamp location
2. Get to the camp near the city of Eoforvik (York)
3. Next another camp will appear, go to it
4. Next, a village will appear on the ocean shore.

Here you will find an ancient shield, +5% block.

And also some tips:
1. When hiring people in Riba, make one of the mercenaries purely a crafter.
2. One more for reconnaissance, treatment, hunting
3. Repair is perfectly upgraded by the old woman who is going to sail with you, but instead of her you can also upgrade a mercenary
4. After you’ve already crafted guns for everyone, start exchanging scraps for skins wherever you can, because There are very few skins, and a lot of fragments.
5. After crafting armor and helmets for the six main fighters, sell the fragments for money.
6. Send everyone you can to your domain, even if it seems to you that you are being deceived, they greatly increase the Prosperity of the clan.
7. Make buildings that maximize the Power of the clan, because there will be plenty of prosperity already.
8. Be sure to get an ally in one of the parties, either Northumbria or the Picts. This will help a lot on altida.
9. During altide, do not interrupt your competitors, Konang does not like this.
10. If you want to be allies of the Picts, then do not place the returning king on the throne of Northumbria. As soon as the current king sends you to all 4 directions, a messenger from the king who has returned from exile will be waiting for you at the entrance to the throne room, you will need not to let this dude go.
11. If you want Northumbria as an ally, then place the king who has returned from exile on the throne of Northumbria. Although none of this really matters, to be honest.
12. The advantage of being for the Picts is that you can plunder all the churches and do bad things in Northumbria without paying attention to your reputation for Northumbria.
13. Perhaps, having chosen Northumbria, you will also have to fight with Mercia, I don’t know for sure because I chose the Picts myself.
Otherwise, why Mercia’s reputation is needed at all is unclear.
