Of course, my goal was not to make my daughter a cook and completely delegate the cooking to her! She told Maxim Galkin there, of course, that she cooks from morning to night and is the only one at home who feeds everyone, but she was bragging. Polina is very inquisitive and active, she is eager to help me in all household activities. To channel her energy into a peaceful direction, I took a chance one day and let her chop up cooked vegetables for a salad. I handed her a knife from a children's cutlery set - it cuts boiled carrots just fine, but you can't hurt your finger with it. Polina was then two years and seven months old. She liked it, and she started doing great.

How did the “Best of All!” program find you?

My husband's parents live in another city, and I constantly shoot small videos for them so that grandparents can watch how their granddaughter is growing up. I sent one of these videos to the “Best of All!” program, and on the same day the editor called us back and invited us to take part in the filming.

Polina only knows how to cook these three dishes: Olivier salad, mashed potatoes and cutlets? She demonstrated these skills on the show.

No, what are you talking about! She can do a lot of things. She and I have already made cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, baked pies, and baked fish. Yesterday she made us okroshka. I don’t teach her anything specifically. I involve her in what I am going to feed my family with. I tell her what needs to be done and in what order, and she does it. Slowly, of course, but we are in no hurry (laughs).

Another question extremely excited the audience: why did Seryozha’s dad scare the child so much with dinosaurs? (during the filming, Polina mistook the crane camera for a dinosaur, got scared, hid behind the table and even cried).

What are you saying, our dad is the kindest good man! He dotes on his daughter. They have a game where Polya pretends to be a capricious horse from a cartoon and runs away from her dad, and he catches up with her, pretending to be a dinosaur. Both run around the apartment happy and laughing. I don’t know why the camera seemed like a dinosaur to Polina. She saw pictures of dinosaurs in books. Maybe my daughter’s fatigue was taking its toll. They filmed us late, around nine in the evening, at which time Polina usually goes to bed. After filming, she never remembered this incident with the “dinosaur”. And yesterday the whole family sat down to watch the program, and she laughed so hard at herself in that moment when she runs away and hides from the camera.

“My daughter’s interest in culinary arts arose when she was about two years old. At first she watched me cook in the kitchen and asked questions. Then I started trying it myself. Started with the most simple dishes, then everything becomes more complicated. I used a child's toy knife. We entrusted Polina with a real knife when she was 2 years and 8 months old. I remember this moment well, I was terribly worried! But everything worked out. My daughter handles the knife surprisingly deftly and at the same time carefully. Gradually we stopped being afraid that she would cut herself. Our cook’s debut dish was Olivier salad,” said Anastasia, the little cook’s mother.

According to her, Poly’s skill grew by leaps and bounds. Natural abilities and amazing hard work for a child did their job. Now my daughter, already a “pro,” will treat her to baked fish with cheese, navy-style pasta, cabbage rolls, stuffed peppers, various salads, charlotte, sweet puff pastries/pies, omelet, stew with gravy and the most delicious side dish.

Our heroine’s mother explained that for the casting for the television program “Best of All!” they came by chance and even spontaneously.

“During my lunch break at work, I filled out a form on the Channel One website and sent several videos from the Fields. A couple of hours later they called me and asked for a video presentation where the child talks about himself. Then we were invited to a casting with the chief editor in Ostankino. My daughter successfully completed it, after which there were two days of rehearsals at Mosfilm and filming there. evening time. Polya is usually already sleeping soundly in her crib by this time, but here she worked at 5+. And not a bit of whims! Today the whole family watched our daughter on TV. And we, parents, and our friends, and everyone who knows and loves Polina, felt proud of her unexpected culinary talent,” admits Anastasia.

Well, many Lyubertsy residents also watched Polina on TV and were proud of their little countrywoman. They laughed at her childish spontaneity and were surprised at some quite adult answers. When asked by Maxim Galkin what dishes she does best, the girl answered with a sweet smile: “Olivier” and cutlets.” And then she demonstrated how deftly she makes them. I love. I like to cook different dishes. And Polina, in general, like any child, is curious about everything new.

Does Polina’s desire to prevent a person from getting hungry extend only to the people next to her, or can the girl, for example, take food out of the house and treat strangers in the yard?

We haven’t treated anyone in the yard yet. But I think if you give your daughter such an idea, she will definitely support it!

What do the girl’s peers think of her passion for cooking?

It’s hard to say, they are still very small. I don’t think they attach much importance to this, as much as we adults do.

Potatoes can be harmful

Has it ever happened that in the process of preparing food, Polina forgot about safety requirements - fire safety and so on?

No. And it won't happen. She's a smart girl, and I'm always there.

What does your daughter like to cook most? What do you think she does best?

Loves to cook absolutely everything. She always manages to try something while cooking. And this is the most relish! Polina makes excellent cutlets and all kinds of salads.

Surely some funny stories and oddities happened to your daughter in the process of cooking. Would you like to share?

A funny thing happens all the time - she swears at foods when they don’t want to be cut, and calls them “harmful.” And the next time we start cooking, my daughter will definitely ask, for example: “Are the potatoes harmful again today?”

- At the age of 2, Arina memorized K.
