Drawing up cards by date of birth. Construction of a personal natal chart

The construction of a natal chart begins with an image of a circle on which the signs of the Zodiac are placed. Each of the 12 signs of the Zodiac occupies a sector of 30º. Next, using ephemeris tables (where the positions of the planets are recorded for every day, starting from 1800 to 2400), the location of the planets in the corresponding zodiac sign is determined. The interaction of planets in the natal chart is determined by aspects (angular distances measured in degrees) - harmonious: 0º, 60º, 120º and tense: 90º and 180º. Usually in the figure they are depicted as green (harmonious aspects) and red lines (tense aspects), and the 0º conjunction aspect is a blue dot. In the natal chart, the harmonious interaction of planets is expressed in less conflict between them and gives more positive aspects. Tense interactions are obvious conflicts that can impede the resolution of certain issues. For example, a natal chart with large quantity harmonious aspects than tense ones can “make a person go with the flow” without making any special efforts to achieve his goals. Tense aspects are a constant struggle, something forces you to move on, without focusing on one thing.

The natal chart represents the fixed position of the planets at a certain point in time. This is a map starry sky, which you would see if you opened your eyes directly at the moment of the specified date and time. A cosmogram is a more simplified version of a natal chart, where the position of the planets relative to the horizon is not considered.

In order to compose your natal chart(cosmogram), you must enter the following data: your day of birth, month, year, as well as hours and minutes of birth. If the time of birth is not known at all, you can consider the position of the planets at 12 noon. If you want to receive a natal map with house markings, then you need to enter the coordinates of the area that interests you in this moment. The format for entering coordinates in the form of a decimal fraction, for example - 47.33, etc., in this case, for eastern longitude and northern latitude the fraction value is positive, and for western longitude and southern latitude it is negative (there is a minus sign in front of the fraction). The entered coordinates automatically determine the time zone. Double-clicking on any calendar date automatically displays the natal chart for the specified date, at 12 noon and the specified coordinates.

CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION OF HOUSES: Horoscope houses are built according to the Placidus system. The marking of the boundaries of the horoscope houses depends on the position (longitude, latitude) on the Earth's surface and on the time zone of the area (GMT). The service uses a time zone derived from the longitude you entered divided by 15 degrees (the geographic “width” of the zone) and rounded to the nearest whole number. Thus, a purely geographical time zone is used without taking into account winter, summer time and other translations. For example, for an area with a longitude of 34 degrees, the GMT+2 zone will be applied. And if you need to build a natal chart with a longitude of 34 degrees for the GMT+3 time zone (translation to summer time), then it is necessary to adjust the set time by -1 hour. The time zone for which the natal chart is calculated is displayed on the panel.

If you tick the NATAL position, then by entering the appropriate data and pressing the OUTPUT button, you will receive the position of the planets in the Zodiac signs at your time of birth and a description of the aspects (interaction) between the planets. It will be a brief description of the inner potential inherent in you.

If you tick the TRANSIT position, then by entering the appropriate data, for example, some significant date, and pressing the OUTPUT button, you will receive a natal chart describing the transit position of the planets in the zodiac signs for any given date. This natal chart can be used for forecasting. These will be estimated changes to your internal state(especially during the transit of planets such as the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn). These data may also describe a significant period.

If you tick the position BY ZODIAC SIGN, then the NATAL and TRANSIT positions are ignored. And you are invited to select the zodiac sign and date you are interested in. After clicking on OUTPUT, you will receive a natal chart with an interpretation for your zodiac sign. To return to the first two options, uncheck BY ZODIAC SIGN.

Decoding "strange icons"

When all the indicators are known, the only thing that raises questions is the “strange icons” found on the natal chart. Therefore, their decoding requires special attention:

  • The letter "Omega" symbolizes suffering and phobias (Rahu karma);
  • The circle with the letter “K” on it is the career area (Midheaven);
  • The letter “N” – family, housing necessary for a comfortable existence (Depth of the sky);
  • Reversed Omega is responsible for a person’s purpose in life (Rahu-dharma);
  • The unshaded month icon is associated with good luck (White Moon);
  • The icon of a shaded month located on a cross is responsible for everything negative that is in the soul and for our mistakes (Black Moon);
  • “Ms” – human relationships (Descendent);

1. Natal chart.

The natal chart is the main working tool of an astrologer - a diagram that depicts all the elements that are analyzed: signs of the Zodiac, houses (fields), planets and aspects between planets. Houses are counted according to the Koch system. In calculations of the North Lunar Node, its average value is used. To the right of the map are all the calculated data: the position of the planets in the signs and houses and the numbers of the houses they rule, the positions of the apexes (cusps) of the houses in the signs and the planets that rule them. If you are interested in astrology only for the practical purpose of getting the information you need, you can go straight to section 2.

2. Basic personality traits

Nowadays, thanks to the advancement of technology, astrological calculations and automatic interpretations have become commonplace. However, in most cases it is a set of texts describing individual phenomena and factors in the horoscope, the interpretations of which can be contradictory and confusing. Professional astrology is distinguished by a synthetic approach, when the strongest and most significant influences are identified and the individual “building blocks” of the natal chart are combined into a holistic picture. For this, the art of interpretation has its own special methods, which we use in this section to form a comprehensive picture of the owner of the horoscope and his main features.

First we identify the qualities and natural characteristics that are inherently present and inherent from birth. They are determined by the position of the planets in the signs and appear already in childhood:

  • Temperament (balance of elements). The correlation of elements in a horoscope allows us to determine temperament and basic psychological qualities person.
  • Type of behavior (balance of crosses). The predominant cross in the horoscope determines the preferred strategy of action.
  • Predominant character traits (dominant sign). Character depends not only on sun sign, especially if the Moon and personal planets are located in other signs.

Then we analyze how and where the natural qualities of a person will manifest themselves and be realized in life, which areas of life will be most necessary and interesting. This is determined by the position of the planets in the houses of the horoscope, and here the exact time and place of birth is especially important for the calculation.

  • The sphere of realization (balance of hemispheres) indicates a tendency towards individualism or reliance on the environment, the need for active social realization or immersion in oneself and caring for loved ones.
  • The form of expression and type of experience determines what motivates a person, what are the main incentives and needs that will seek fulfillment in life and determine its circumstances.
  • Main areas of life (dominant house). The selected houses of the horoscope indicate more specifically the main areas of interest, circumstances and directions for the realization of the individual.

And finally, probably the most important thing is to understand whether there are energies in the horoscope and which ones, which not only determine the main tendencies of a person’s character, activities, circumstances, the direction of a person’s entire life, but can also help or hinder him from achieving maximum realization. This can be power, wealth, but also the heights of art, science, and spirit. This largely depends on the energy that will be predominant in the horoscope. For this we different ways We analyze the planets directly, their strength and significance.

3. Astropsychological characteristics

If you carefully study the materials previous section, then the main personality traits and characteristics will already be known to you. In this section, information is presented and grouped by all factor planets, symbolizing various psychological components.

  • The Sun, Moon and Ascendant form the core of the personality and determine the main character traits:
    • The sun is essence, consciousness, will, spirit, life force,
    • Moon - soul, feelings, unconscious reactions, need for security,
    • The Ascendant is the image of “I”, role, image, self-awareness, appearance and vitality of the body.
  • Mercury, Venus and Mars, so-called. personal planets complete the picture:
    • Mercury - mind, intellect, thinking, means of communication,
    • Venus - love, ideas about beauty and harmony, taste and perception,
    • Mars - willpower, determination, perseverance, struggle, passion.
  • Jupiter and Saturn determine the qualities and characteristics that a person exhibits as a social being.
  • The higher planets (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) determine spiritual ideals and needs, problems and tasks of the spirit and irresistible forces of transformation.

4. Areas of implementation and life circumstances

In this section we look at the horoscope and almost the same factors, but from a different angle, from a more practical point of view, namely, how circumstances and life will turn out in specific areas: health, finances, family, children, etc. To do this, we examine the horoscope in the structure of its houses (fields), each of which symbolizes and, as it were, “responsible” for certain areas of life. The signs that houses fall into symbolize the background properties and qualities that characterize the circumstances of the house. Planets entering a house bring their energy and directly affect this area life, and the position of the planets-rulers of the house shows what other areas of life and your actions or inactions in them determine the situation of the analyzed house.

About the authors of the texts

To describe various elements of the horoscope, we use fragments of books and reference books by famous astrologers.

The work of American astrologers Frances Sakoyan and Lewis Ecker is perhaps the most famous and widespread in the CIS among other translations of foreign reference books and enjoys well-deserved respect. It should be noted that many domestic authors, to a greater or lesser extent, quoted or retold this reference book.

Grant Lewey is a famous foreign astrologer who strived to achieve the goal of making astrology accessible to millions. His book “Astrology for Millions,” from which horoscopes are compiled, became a bestseller and was reprinted many times.

Astrological interpretations by German authors Hayo Banzhaf and Anna Hebler are taken from their book “Astrology: key concepts", published in Russia in 2002. These are exceptionally clear and modern interpretations. Bill Herbst's interpretation of the planetary positions in the houses is profound and also very modern.

Probably many astrologers studied from the books and lectures of Absalom the Underwater 10-15-20 years ago. These interpretations are written in a style that makes it possible to unmistakably identify their author.

Descriptions of the elements and types of houses are partially borrowed from the book “Astrology, Psychology and the Four Elements” by Stefan Arroyo.

Many people want to know a little more about their lives than is possible. To do this, they turn to fortune tellers, psychics or astrologers.

However, some things can be done independently, without turning to the help of specialists. It's about creating personal natal chart. It is a diagram that can show events in a person's life or describe his character.

What it is?

Otherwise, the natal chart is called a cosmogram. For many centuries it was believed that human life is directly influenced by star position. It shapes certain events, helps shape a person’s character and his future destiny.

There is an opinion that at the moment of a person’s birth, the stars in the sky are located in a certain way. It is believed that no two constellation arrangements are exactly the same. Thus, it turns out that each person’s life is unique.

Visually, the natal chart resembles a diagram with many bizarre signs. The ability to decipher them helps to predict events for a certain period of time, find out which character traits predominate in a person, or build a graph of partner compatibility.

Knowledge in the field of astrology opens up enormous opportunities if used correctly. A personal horoscope based on a natal chart may include:

  • Forecast of events for a certain period of life;
  • The career activity in which a person can achieve the greatest success;
  • Identifying character traits;
  • Degree of vital activity;
  • Predisposition to certain diseases;
  • Material values;
  • Possible difficulties in relationships with others;
  • Role family values In human life;

Independently with decoding

Deciphering a natal chart is not difficult if you have an idea of its main aspects. The natal chart is a circle. Inside, it is divided into circles, which, in turn, are divided into component parts. The main elements of the natal chart are considered to be houses.

Exists 12 types of houses, each of them is responsible for a specific life area. Each house may feature a certain sign of the celestial system, starting with Aries and ending with Pisces. Knowing the characteristics of each house, you can already add up big picture about a person and his life.

But there are other aspects of the natal chart that provide the most advanced knowledge. For the most accurate decoding of the natal chart, you need to familiarize yourself with the location on it planets of the solar system.

No less significant when interpreting the map are the ascendant and descendant. They are opposite elements of the natal chart. The Ascendant is the ascending degree, and the Descendant is its opposite.

By date of birth

To create the most accurate natal chart, you need some information about the person. The date of birth with the most accurate time is taken as the basis. The place in which the person was born is also taken into account. With the help of verified sources, the width and longitude of this place are established.

The most convenient option make a natal chart– use special counters or programs. They work automatically. As a result, a schematic image of the map emerges. On separate resources you can find a decoding of your personal horoscope.

However, experts say that programs cannot always give a truly correct answer to some questions. Therefore, the most correct solution is ask for decryption to a specialist or to carry it out independently, having acquired a certain knowledge base in this direction.

Designation of houses

Each house of the natal chart has an individual characteristic. The most basic thing a person should know in order to get the overall picture is the designation of each house.

The first house is responsible for a person’s personal qualities and appearance. The second house fully characterizes level of material stability. The third house contains information about relationships with others.

The fourth house is considered a symbol family traditions. It talks about connections with ancestors and relationships with parents. The fifth house reveals the creative side of the personality. The sixth house indicates degree of health.

The seventh house, like the third, includes relationships, but in this case we're talking about about the business sphere of communication. This may include work connections, friendships, social activities etc. The eighth house marks the boundary between life and death.

In the ninth house is the philosophy of a person’s views on the surrounding reality. The tenth house is a person’s career, his ambitions, skills and plans. The eleventh house includes any collective activity and denotes a person’s place in it.

The twelfth house is everything that goes beyond reality. This may include religion, psychic abilities , spirituality, etc.

At their core, houses carry basic information about a person. They indicate the main events and reveal inner potential, helping to realize oneself most correctly in life. It is difficult to overestimate the importance of houses when deciphering a natal chart.

Drawing up a natal chart is not such a simple task, and if you are not well versed in astrology, then you can safely use special astrological programs. Those who are interested in getting to the bottom of everything themselves can try to master independent reading of the natal chart.

2nd House - acquisitions (money, property, luck).

IX House - ideal (optimism, travel, escapism).

Xth House - independence (public life, social status).

XIth House - aspiration (plans, hopes, friendship).

XIIth House - achievement (willpower, mystery).

Planets in the natal chart: decoding

Planets in the natal chart show:

How you live, create, express yourself (Sun);

How do you feel, what do you expect from love (Moon);

In what direction and at what speed do you think (Mercury);

As you wish: material needs, sexual desires, happiness (Venus);

How you act: will, independence, activity, initiative (Mars);

How do you plan your affairs and set priorities (Jupiter);

How do you achieve your goals (Saturn);

How you accept something new and free yourself from the old (Uranus);

How you relax and also how you anticipate (Neptune);

How you give anything and also how you deal with losses (Pluto).

Zodiac signs and aspects in the natal chart: decoding

In the natal chart, zodiac signs play the role of characteristics. Houses, planets, aspects, and other indicators appear to us through the prism of one or another zodiac sign. Hence the phrases: Sun in Leo, Xth House in Gemini or Saturn in Libra. It is the signs of the zodiac that “give” their traits to astrological indicators, which, accordingly, is reflected both in your character and in the events occurring in life.

Aspects same - this is the individual relationship between the planets in the horoscope - nodes, squares and trigons that form the ascending and descending planets. It is the aspects that show those nuances that make you a unique person. Aspects are arcs of a certain size that connect two elements of the horoscope. They are laid out along the ecliptic (the apparent path of the Sun across the sky throughout the year) and are measured in degrees. In the natal chart, aspects are indicated by straight lines of different colors.

Aspects can be harmonious and intense, that is, planets (the qualities they endow and the events they provoke) can correspond to each other, complement each other or interfere, create an imbalance in life and in the psychological sphere.

The aspects in your individual horoscope determine the events that await you at this or that stage of life, your reaction to these events, and the character traits and habits that you can acquire.

“Strange icons” in the natal chart: decoding

It is assumed that you know what the symbols of the zodiac signs and planets look like. But we will now look at the unfamiliar, strange icons located after the listing of the ten symbols of the planets.

Rahu Dharma is denoted by the inverted Greek letter Omega and speaks of your destiny.

Rahu karma is designated as “Omega” - Ω - in an upright position and is “responsible” for obstacles, fears and suffering.

Black Moon (Lilith) in the natal chart it looks like an icon of the month (waning moon), shaded black and held on a cross. This is the apogee of the ordinary Moon, the point of the lunar orbit farthest from Earth. Lilith is “responsible” for mistakes, for everything dark that is in our soul, she shows what must be avoided in order to live life with dignity.

White Moon (Selena) in the natal chart it looks like a month icon (growing moon), white, that is, unshaded. This Moon also seems to rest on the cross. Selena is also not an independent planet, but simply the point of the lunar orbit closest to Earth. Selena is “responsible” for your luck, for the opportunities that will be provided to you throughout your life, she tells you what you must not miss in order for life to turn out well.

The Midheaven is designated as a circle with the letter “K” on it.”, and is responsible for your potential in career and social status.

The depth of the Sky is denoted by the Latin letter “H”"and shows what kind of home and what kind of family you need for complete comfort.

The Ascendant is designated as "As" This is your individuality - the impression you yourself (and your actions) make on others.

The Descendant is designated as "Mc”and is “responsible” for your relationships with other people. This icon tells you which partner you are able to create a harmonious and productive marriage or business union with.

Small letter "R" next to planets and other symbols indicates that this object was in a retrograde position at the time of your birth. And this must also be taken into account.

By the way, you can build and interpret a cosmogram (natal chart) not only to create an individual horoscope, but also to calculate what events await you or humanity in general on a particular day. To do this, simply when drawing up a natal chart, use the date you are interested in, and not the date of your birthday.

The foundation of the astrological understanding of the world is, first of all, the elements.

Prevailing Fire gives a person an inexhaustible source of energy. The owner of such a horoscope experiences a constant thirst for activity, and only very serious obstacles and long periods of failure can temporarily deprive him of his innate optimism. A fiery person happily shares ideas, energy, and enthusiasm with other people.

Lack of Fire most often expressed in the absence of one’s own ideas and incentives to action. In principle, a person can be quite active, but it is as if he has no source of energy, and therefore he has to wait until some representative of the element of Fire throws up an idea, illuminates the field of activity - then it will be possible to get down to business.

Dominant Earth makes a person a materialist, a practical person, standing firmly on the ground and recognizing only real things. The owner of an earthly horoscope, as a rule, is distinguished by thriftiness, thriftiness, efficiency, the ability to do things with his own hands, and diligence in financial matters.

Earth shortage manifests itself as impracticality, detachment from reality. Such people can make any plans they want, but they are unable to implement them on their own.

Prevailing Air makes a person sociable, contactable, interested in receiving and transmitting various types of information. Such people play the role of messengers - they transfer the ideas of Fire or the material resources of the Earth from where there are many of them to where these resources are lacking.

Lack of air makes a person uncontactable. He may be very smart, but few people will guess this because it is impossible to get even two words out of such a person. Like an astronaut in a vacuum of space, the owner of a horoscope with a lack of Air feels isolated and needs the participation of other people.

Predominant Water gives a person emotionality, romance, imagination, and the ability to synthesize. Thanks to their ability to sympathize and understand other people without words, representatives of the element of Water play a unifying role in society. They are the same “systemic factor” that makes something coherent out of disparate actions. Water fantasies give depth and perspective to phenomena.

Water scarcity manifests itself as a lack of imagination, and therefore locks a person into the framework of dry, realistic schemes, depriving him of emotional support and intuitive understanding with others.

Sometimes one or another element is clearly visible in a person, in other cases different elements are expressed more or less evenly and it is very difficult to understand which of them predominates.
