INTRODUCTION
The final qualifying thesis is a research work of scientific content, which has internal unity and reflects the progress and results of the development of the chosen topic. It must be relevant and correspond to the current level of scientific and technological development. The final qualifying work is presented in a form that allows one to judge how fully the provisions, conclusions and recommendations contained in it are reflected and justified, as well as their novelty and significance. The totality of the results obtained in the work should indicate that students have initial skills in scientific work in their chosen field of professional activity.

The main task of the author is to demonstrate the level of his scientific qualifications and, above all, the ability to independently conduct scientific research and solve specific scientific problems. The final qualifying work consolidates the information received in the form of text and demonstration material, in which the author arranges the accumulated facts at his own discretion and proves the scientific value or practical significance of certain provisions, not relying on authority, tradition or faith, but through conscious conviction of their truth based on norms and criteria that are significant for the scientific community.

The originality, uniqueness and originality of the information provided characterize the content of the course work. The content of the course work in the most systematic form records both the initial premises of scientific research, as well as its progress and the results obtained. At the same time, scientific facts are not simply described, but their comprehensive analysis is carried out, typical situations are considered, available alternatives and the reasons for choosing one of them are discussed.

Target– this is what, in the most general form, should be achieved as a result of work on the WRC. This is the scientific result that should be obtained as a result of the entire research.

The formulation of the purpose of the research begins with a verb - to study, explore, identify, establish, develop, etc. For example, “develop a model”, “substantiate ...”, etc. The formulation of the goal in historical research can be as follows: “characterize ...”, “reveal the features ...”, “analyze and generalize the experience ... determine its significance for the development ...”, “identify the possibilities of applying ... experience in domestic ... science”, etc.

Inaccuracy in the formulation of the research goal occurs when students replace the definition of a scientific result (which should be the main result of the research project) with practical goals, i.e. when a scientific goal is replaced by a practical one. For example, “increasing the efficiency of the management process...”, “improving the quality of management...”, etc. - these are not the goals of the WRC. Scientific results in the future, of course, under certain conditions (introduction into production) can become the basis for “increasing the efficiency of the process...” and “improving the quality...”, but they cannot be set as the goal of the course work. And even such a formulation as “to develop scientifically based recommendations” can only act as an accompanying, auxiliary, but not as the main goal of the study, but most likely as one of the tasks that helps to increase the practical significance of the course work.

An object is a process or phenomenon that gives rise to a problem situation and is chosen for study. The formulation of an object is an important stage of scientific research, since the wrong choice of object can lead to gross methodological errors. If the object of scientific research is not clearly established, then it is very easy to “slip” into the study of an object of another science. The object must always be in the field of the science within which the work is being written.

After the object is formulated item research is a part of an object that is subject to scientific research. Several objects can be identified in one object, which will subsequently be studied in different studies or even scientific directions. When formulating the subject, you must remember that it must coincide with the topic of the work.

The object and subject of research are related to each other as general and specific. The part of the object that is the subject of research is highlighted. It is to this that the student’s main attention is directed; the subject of the research determines the topic of the work, indicated on the title page.

After formulating the goal, object and subject of work, a hypothesis, aimed at proving the real existence of the alleged. By formulating a hypothesis, the student makes an assumption about how he intends to achieve his goal. While working on the WRC, he constantly asks himself questions: in what direction to move, what needs to be done, what needs to be changed and how to do it, i.e. each time he puts forward certain assumptions, confirming or refuting them. Thus, the student constantly works with a whole system of hypotheses, but does not formulate them in writing.

A scientific hypothesis encourages active, purposeful study of various phenomena in order to discover data that confirm or refute it. Scientific search, if it is controlled by a hypothesis, ceases to be amorphous, acquires an internal structure and therefore becomes much more effective.

A hypothesis should be distinguished from a guess, since the first is built on the basis of extensive factual material, and the second is formulated without sufficient grounds. The hypothesis in the process of its development goes through the following stages:


  • accumulation of factual material and making assumptions based on it;

  • formulation of the hypothesis, i.e. isolating consequences from the assumption made, developing an entire conjectural theory on its basis;

  • testing the findings in practice and clarifying the hypothesis based on the results of such testing.
If, when checking the results obtained, it turns out that they correspond to reality, then the hypothesis turns into a scientific theory. In the case when the consequences obtained on the basis of some assumption contradict experience, it is necessary to either change, clarify the assumption itself, or even remove it from the work. The procedure for constructing and confirming a hypothesis:

  • identify a group of phenomena, the reason for the existence of which cannot yet be explained using existing methods and means of scientific research;

  • study in detail the available set of phenomena, the cause of which must be found; in the process of this study, all circumstances related to this phenomenon are revealed;

  • formulate a scientific assumption (hypothesis) about the possible cause that caused the occurrence of this phenomenon;

  • determine one or more consequences that logically follow from the supposed cause, as if the cause had actually already been found;

  • check to what extent these consequences correspond to the facts of reality; when the highlighted consequences correspond to real facts, the hypothesis is considered valid.
When constructing a hypothesis, the following circumstance should be kept in mind: the hypothesis may not be confirmed. For science, a negative result is no less important than a positive one. In this case, it is necessary to construct a multidimensional hypothesis in such a way that covers different aspects of the phenomenon (process, phenomenon) being studied. In this case, the conclusions will say which provisions of the hypothesis were confirmed and for what reasons, and which provisions of the hypothesis are erroneous and, accordingly, should not be repeated in subsequent studies. Thus, it is necessary to identify negative results, since this is the scientific duty of the researcher.

The formulated purpose and hypothesis of the study logically determine it tasks, which represent the stages of goal implementation and hypothesis testing. The formulation of tasks begins with a verb, for example: 1) study..., 2) identify..., 3) develop..., 4) check... etc.

The tasks should record the stages of work on the theoretical and empirical parts of the research work. The listing of tasks can be determined both by the time sequence of their implementation and by the logical sequence determined by the internal logic of the research process.

The formulations of the problems must be precise, since the description of their solution constitutes the content of the chapters of the course work. Problem formulations determine the titles of chapters and paragraphs of the work.

All tasks stated in the work must be accomplished, and conclusions must be formulated based on the results of solving the problems.

Any scientific research involves revealing it methodological foundations, i.e. concepts and theories underlying it. It is necessary to indicate the methodological basis, since it is this section of the introduction that shows the level of methodological training of the student.

The need to indicate the methodological basis of the work is also dictated by ethical considerations. In modern science there cannot be pioneers who do their work “from scratch.” Each researcher always builds his research on the basis of an analysis of the works of scientists who have previously studied this problem.

In addition, the need to indicate methodological foundations is also due to the fact that in psychology there are many scientific schools that develop the same problems, but from different positions, in different directions. Scientific schools can formulate directly opposite points of view to the study and interpretation of the same issue. Therefore, a student building his own work must take a strictly defined position - what theories and concepts he accepts as basic and justifies why, and what works he only refers to in the course of analyzing scientific sources.

Speaking about the methodological basis of the study, it is necessary to indicate research approach(s) as certain initial principles, positions on the basis of which work is built.

In psychology, there are a large number of scientific approaches to the study of phenomena and facts. Since the mid-50s XX century The most common is the systems approach, which is a system-structural analysis of internal connections in an object, considering any object as an integral formation consisting of elements that are closely interconnected and transform into each other in the process of interaction.

System-structural analysis as a method is very fruitful, but it is only one of the many methods of scientific knowledge. It can also be quite difficult for a student to prove the systematic nature of his own research, so you can use an integrated approach to the study of phenomena, bearing in mind that a complex is a collection of objects and phenomena that make up one whole. Also, WRC work can be built within the framework of a holistic approach, in which the whole is determined by the combination of parts into complex complexes with mutual influence of the parts.

IN methods research, the names of theoretical, empirical, and mathematical-statistical, interpretive methods used in the research are indicated.

When characterizing techniques research, their full and exact name accepted in science, the authors of the methodology (authors of adaptation, modification) are indicated, and the numbers of scientific sources from the list of references from which these methods were taken are indicated in square brackets.

The paragraph devoted to the description of diagnostic tools should provide a complete and clear logical justification for the choice of research methods.

Selection and approval of the theme of the WRC

The choice of topic for a bachelor's thesis is determined by:

The student’s level of knowledge in the main disciplines of the curriculum,

Place of work (base of practical training) of the graduate,

Scientific interests of the graduate,

Practical orientation of the WRC.

The subject of the research and development work must be relevant and correspond to the current state and development prospects of the organization (enterprise).

In addition, the topic of the WRC may be of a research nature.

Taking this into account, the topic of the bachelor's work is determined by the student independently, and it is necessary to take into account the possibility of obtaining specific statistical data on the object of scientific research, as well as the availability of special scientific and educational literature on the problems considered in the work.

The main criterion for a graduate to choose a topic for the thesis should be the student’s research interest, as well as the interest of the administration of the enterprise (institution, organization) on the example of which the research is being conducted. If a student clearly understands which topic he can find the most complete and meaningful material on, then, other things being equal, this circumstance can determine the choice of topic.

Approximate topics for final bachelor's theses are presented in Appendix A.

Using the right to choose, the student can propose “his” topic for the thesis subject to the justification of the feasibility of its development. For a graduate who did not take advantage of the right to choose, the topic of the thesis is assigned at the suggestion of the supervisor.

The selection of the topic of the bachelor's work and its approval must be completed before the end of the practical training.

Assigning the topic of the thesis to students upon his written application and upon the recommendation of the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems is formalized by order of the rector of the university.

At the same time, by order of the rector, supervisors of bachelor's work are appointed from among professors and associate professors, experienced teachers and researchers of the university. In addition, managers can be researchers and highly qualified specialists from other institutions, organizations and enterprises.

WRC management

The supervisor is appointed to provide the student with theoretical and practical assistance during the preparation and writing of the thesis.

Supervisor:

assists the student in choosing a topic,

gives the task to the student, draws up a plan with him,

provides assistance in choosing methods for analysis and research,

provides qualified advice on the selection of the necessary scientific and educational literature, reference and statistical materials and other sources on the chosen topic,

conducts consultations as necessary,

carries out systematic monitoring of the progress of preparation of bachelor's work,

checks its readiness.

At various stages of preparation and implementation of the project, the tasks of the manager change.

At the first stage, the leader advises how to begin considering the topic, adjusts the work plan and makes recommendations on the list of references.

During the implementation of the project, the supervisor acts as an opponent, points out to the student the shortcomings of argumentation, composition, style, etc., and gives advice on how to eliminate them.

The student must perceive the recommendations and comments of the supervisor creatively. He can take them into account or reject them at his own discretion, since responsibility for the theoretically and methodologically correct development and coverage of the topic, the quality of the content and design of the thesis lies entirely with the student - the author of the work.

At the suggestion of the head, if necessary, the graduating department grants the right to invite consultants for certain sections of work at the expense of the time allocated for the management of the research and development work. Professors and researchers of the university or other enterprises and organizations can be appointed consultants. The consultant checks the relevant part of the work completed by the student and puts his signature on it.

The student - the author of the work - is responsible for the decisions made in the research project and for the correctness of all data provided.

The completed undergraduate thesis, signed by the student and, if necessary, by the advisor, is submitted to the supervisor.

After reviewing and approving the work, the supervisor provides feedback. The review should describe the work done by the student in preparing the thesis for each section. The review provides a comprehensive description of the quality of the bachelor's work, highlights the positive aspects, pays special attention to the previously noted shortcomings that were not eliminated by the student, and motivates the possibility or inappropriateness of submitting a diploma to the State Attestation Commission. Then the VKR is submitted for normative control. In order to bring the work into compliance with the “Requirements for Standard Control”, it is necessary to use the methodological instructions that are posted on the branch’s website www.udgutura.ru in the “Methodological Materials” section.

Having received the mark and signature of the normative inspector, the student, together with a written review from the supervisor, submits the thesis to the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems, where, on the basis of the submitted materials, the issue of admitting the student to the defense is decided. In this case, a corresponding entry is made on the title page of the work.

If a decision is made that it is impossible to allow a student to defend himself, a corresponding protocol is drawn up and submitted to the university rector for approval.

Bachelor's thesis accepted for defense is sent for review.

Review of the thesis

To obtain an additional objective assessment of the student’s work, an external review of the bachelor’s work by specialists in the relevant field is carried out.

Specialists and managers of state, regional and local authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organizations of related industries may be involved as reviewers. The reviewer must have a higher education. Professors and teachers from other universities can also be involved as reviewers.

The reviewer is obliged to conduct a qualified analysis of the essence and main provisions of the work being reviewed and reflect in the review:

Relevance of the chosen topic; - independence of approach to its disclosure; - presence of one’s own point of view; - ability to use scientific research methods; - logic of constructing the work and presentation of the material; - degree of validity of conclusions and recommendations; - reliability of the results and their practical significance; - specific comments on the content, conclusions, recommendations and design of the work, indicating sections and pages; - recommendations for assessing the thesis on a four-point system (“excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory”, “unsatisfactory”). The review is written or printed in any form, recommended text volume – 1-1.5 pages. The review must indicate your full name. reviewer, his academic degree, academic title, place of work, position. The reviewer signs the review and marks the date it was written. The reviewer's signature must be certified by the seal of the organization in which he works. The review is not filed with the work, but is attached to it. The thesis with the review, the supervisor’s review must be submitted to the department no later than 7 days before the start of the work of the State Attestation Committee for the defense. Making changes to the final qualifying work after receiving the review is not allowed.

At the defense of the work at the State Attestation Commission, it is advisable to additionally submit a review of the organization for whose order the work was carried out. It should indicate the practical value of the results obtained and the stage of their implementation.

On the eve of the defense, the Chairman of the State Attestation Committee gets acquainted with the content of the thesis, reviews of managers and reviews.

VCR protection

The student, having received positive feedback from the supervisor, a review from an external reviewer and the decision of the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems on admission to defense, must prepare a report for 4-5 minutes, in which he must clearly and concisely outline the main provisions of the work. It should be taken into account that usually the basis for preparing a report (speech) is the conclusion of the WRC.

For clarity, it is necessary to prepare illustrative material of at least 5 pages with graphs, tables, diagrams (for each member of the commission), which make it possible to specify the main provisions of the report.

The report itself and its illustrations (handouts) must be agreed upon with the head of the WRC.

The report follows:

indicate the relevance of the topic of work,

list the issues and problems of the functioning of the WRC facility identified during its implementation,

justify the choice of management decision and prove its effectiveness.

The success of the defense largely depends on the quality of the report, so the issue of its preparation is very serious.

The defense is carried out at a meeting of the State Examination Commission. It consists of highly qualified university teachers, and in some cases, specialists from enterprises and organizations. The composition of the commission is approved by order of the university rector.

The committee meeting may be attended by the heads of the research and development work, reviewers, as well as students and interested parties.

The order of defense is as follows: first, the student makes a report, then the supervisor’s review and review are read out, after which the student responds to the comments made in the review and review.

For each WRC, the commission asks questions. In addition, the student’s supervisor, reviewer, and everyone present can ask questions to the student. It should be kept in mind that answers to questions should be concise, clear and convincing. The assessment for the research and development work is assigned by the commission at the end of the working meeting. At the same time, the issue of assigning appropriate qualifications to successfully defended students is being resolved. Also, the commission can express a special opinion on a number of works - recommend for implementation, recommend the author for admission to a master’s program, recommend preparing an article based on the project materials, etc.

The decision of the State Examination Committee is final. 2. Structure of the WRC

Introduction– this is the introductory part of the thesis, in which the theoretical and practical relevance of the chosen topic is substantiated, the object of the work is determined, its purpose and objectives are formulated, and a brief summary of the main sections is given. The introduction volume is up to 3 pages.

Main part The thesis includes several sections (chapters), the number of which depends on the chosen topic and is determined by the student in agreement with the supervisor. It is recommended to form 3 chapters in the main part of the work.

To the first chapter it is advisable to include consideration of the following issues

Organizational personnel and the effectiveness of their use,

External environment (suppliers, consumers, competitors) and marketing in the organization,

Analysis of the dynamics of the main economic performance indicators for 2 years.

Giving a general description of the organization, it is advisable to outline a brief history of its formation and development, formulate the goals and objectives of its activities, and give a brief description of the products (works, services).

When considering the issue of managing an organization, it is necessary to characterize the organizational structure, highlighting management-level units, main production units, auxiliary units, and also characterize the interrelations of units in the organization.

One of the essential characteristics of an organization is its dependence on the external environment. In this regard, it is necessary to imagine the external environment itself and consider its impact on the activities of the organization. At the same time, it is important to identify the most significant factors of external influence and effective ways to respond to them.

In the second chapter necessary:

Identify the main problems in the organization’s activities,

Of all the problems, highlight 1, maximum 2 most relevant for the organization,

Consider theoretical questions on the topic of SRS,

Develop options for solving the identified problem,

Conduct an analysis of the proposed options,

Select the most appropriate management option for solving the problem.

The formation of management decision options should be accompanied by theoretical study of relevant issues. In this case, it is necessary to assess the degree of knowledge of the problem(s) posed, consider controversial issues, and analyze domestic and foreign experience. Consideration of theoretical issues on the topic of work involves the study of about 10 literary sources, which should include monographs of the most authoritative experts on the research problem, articles in scientific journals, and publications on the Internet. Links to sources in the text of the work are required. Based on the analysis, the author’s own point of view of the final work should be formed, the most important points for the development of the chosen field should be listed, taking into account which management solutions to the problem will be formed.

When identifying the main problems of activity in functional areas of management (production, marketing, infrastructure, etc.), it is advisable to conduct a SWOT analysis and build a “problem tree”.

In the third chapter management decisions are selected and justified.

On this basis, a management decision is selected - a project aimed at solving the problem(s) posed. Main: It is necessary to provide clear evidence in favor of the decision being made.

After the choice of the final solution has been made, it is necessary to propose a plan for implementing the project.

Conclusion should contain the main conclusions obtained during the implementation of the WRC. In this section it is advisable to include brief conclusions based on the results of the analysis of the organization’s activities, the main problems of the organization’s management, a brief description of the proposed management solution and the results of calculations for its economic justification.

Bibliography is an integral part of the final work and shows the degree of knowledge of the problem, includes sources used by the author when studying the topic and writing the work, and is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.1.

IN applications materials are brought out that make the main part easier to perceive without overloading it. Applications contribute to broader coverage of the topic, however, the main text of the work should be created in such a way that it is self-sufficient and contains a small number of applications. The content and form of the application can be very different: copies of documents, excerpts from reporting materials, tables, graphs, diagrams, etc. The main test of the work must contain links to all applications provided.

The evaluation of the final work consists of several indicators:

Quality of work (level of topic disclosure, theoretical and practical significance, design, etc.);

The results of the defense of the thesis are assessed at a closed meeting of the State Examination Committee at the end of the defense with the marks “excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory” and “unsatisfactory” by a simple majority of votes of the commission members participating in the meeting. In general, when writing the main sections of the WRC, you must follow the following recommendations:

1. The names of chapters and subsections must correspond to the topic of the WRC.

2. The names of subsections must correspond to the title of the chapter.

4. The report must contain:

6. In the event of a student’s failure to appear for the defense of his final qualification work due to illness, the student provides a medical certificate to the educational part of the secondary vocational education department.

7. A student who is not admitted to the defense of the thesis or receives an unsatisfactory grade during the defense has the right to submit the thesis for defense again in accordance with the established procedure.

The goal is formulated based on the title of the work. The goal, as a rule, is practice-oriented in nature and is not limited to “research,” “analysis,” or “study.”

When choosing a topic for work, the student needs to pay attention to the study of the theory of the problem, using the approaches of different authors, factual and statistical material. The selected topic of the thesis (CR) is formalized by the student’s application addressed to the head of the graduating department (Appendix K) no later than 6 months before the start of the defense and is issued by order of the director of the School of Economics and Mathematics of the Far Eastern Federal University.

The topic of the thesis is approved by the department before the start of pre-graduate practice. At the same time, the student is assigned a supervisor and, if necessary, consultants, and deadlines are set.

The head of the research and development work is appointed from among the highly qualified employees of the ShEM departments, as well as leading specialists of enterprises, institutions, and research institutes.

The manager draws up an Assignment for the implementation of the high-tech project (Appendix B) or the CD. The topic of the thesis and the assignment for completing the work are discussed at a department meeting.

The assignment is signed by the student and the head of the thesis, certified by the head of the department, and at the time of defense, along with the work, is submitted to the State Examination Commission (SEC).

Based on the assignment, the student develops a research and development plan, which is agreed with the supervisor. The graduate is responsible for the theoretical and practical development of the topic, the quality, content and design of the thesis.

Failure to meet the deadlines for completing the WQR is considered as a violation of the schedule (Appendix E) and is taken into account in the final assessment. The manager is present during the defense of the work.

1.3 Working with bibliographic sources and drawing up a plan for final qualifying work (course work)

It is necessary to familiarize yourself with fundamental sources of information on the topic (textbooks, teaching aids, monographs, statistical collections, reference books), periodicals (magazines, newspapers, bulletins of regulations, collections of scientific papers, conference materials).

Having chosen the most suitable sources of information, it is necessary to study them in order to theoretically understand the problem posed in the work, as well as to competently and completely draw up a research plan.

When drawing up a plan, it is necessary to take into account the requirements for the structure and content of the WRC (CR), as well as the problems identified in the process of studying the literature on the chosen topic. The names of sections should not repeat the title of the topic, and the names of subsections (paragraphs) should not repeat the names of sections. All names should reflect the main directions and expected results of the study. During the work process, the plan can be adjusted if this is caused by objective necessity. Adjustments to the WRC (CR) plan and monitoring of compliance with the schedule for its preparation are carried out by the manager.

2 Structure and content of final qualification and course work

2.1 Structural elements of VKR and KR, as follows in the sequence below, are:

– title page – first page (Appendix A, B). The design of the reverse side of the title page of the TRC must comply with Appendix B;

– task to complete the work – second page (Appendix B);

– introduction – fourth page;

– terms, definitions and abbreviations (if necessary);

2.2 Total volume of WRC excluding applications: specialist – 70-100 pages of printed text, bachelor’s thesis – 50-60 pages of printed text, master’s thesis – 100-120 pages of printed text. The optimal volume of course work is 30-35 pages of computer text (if necessary, the volume can be increased).

After the title and subtitle, a space is placed, then the page number on which this structural element begins is given.

The introduction is placed on the next page after the page on which the “Table of Contents” element ends. The word “Introduction” is placed at the top of the page in the middle, starting with a capital letter and in bold. The introduction text is not divided into structural elements (paragraphs, subparagraphs, etc.).

The volume of the introduction should not exceed five pages; it should not contain definitions, tables, or graphic material. The introduction should reflect:

First section, devoted to the analysis of theoretical positions and practical approaches, should provide a theoretical basis for subsequent presentation. The student presents only the theoretical material that he will need to solve the issues determined by the goals and objectives of the WRC (KR). Departure from this requirement leads to an excessive increase in the volume of the first section, or to a separation from the content of the second and third sections of the WRC (KR).

The first section should not be a presentation of the material of academic disciplines, but a critical analysis of the theory on the chosen topic. The quality of the material in this section is usually indicated by the list of literature sources that should be referenced throughout the text. At the end of each section, conclusions (summaries) should be drawn.

In the second section domestic and foreign practice of solving the problem under consideration is analyzed, usually using the example of a specific enterprise. The analysis of the solution to the problem should contain not only positive, but also negative assessments. This section involves an analysis of the object of study and should contain its brief description, including description, economic potential, degree of resource use, operational efficiency, place in the social division of labor, rating in the system of similar objects.

Next, you should analyze the state of the object over the past 2-3 years, identify trends in the development of the object over a number of years, and evaluate these trends. The student's proposals must be theoretically substantiated and supported by appropriate graphs, tables and calculations. Here it is necessary to determine the economic or social effect that can be obtained by introducing proposals into business and management practice.

In the absence of his own solution to the problem, the student must study the best domestic and foreign experience on the problem under consideration, the recommendations of scientists and practitioners, and choose from them the option that can be implemented in the current conditions with the greatest benefit. In any case, it is necessary to present a strategy (strategic vision) for solving the problem under study at the macro, meso and micro levels. Based on the results of the research carried out in the third section, it is necessary to make a conclusion (summary).

A conclusion of up to 5 pages reflects the main results of the work. It formulates conclusions and indicates the degree to which the goal has been achieved. If proposals have been formulated to improve the performance of the object under study, they are placed after the conclusions. Recommendations must be targeted and economically justified.

It is advisable to provide materials confirming the expected economic effect of implementation. If the economic effect cannot be calculated, then the social, scientific, legal, national and other values ​​of the proposal made are indicated.

Introduction

In accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard for a specialty, state (final) certification includes the preparation and defense of a final qualifying thesis.

Carrying out research and development work is one of the main types of independent work of students at the final stage of training, aimed at expanding and consolidating theoretical knowledge, developing skills in solving practical problems in the course of independent scientific research.

The purpose of the guidelines: to provide assistance to students in completing their final qualifying work, as well as to teachers supervising the graduate work.

Purpose and objectives of the final qualifying work

1.1. The thesis is the final qualifying work containing the results of independent research on the chosen topic.

1.2. The purpose of the examination is to determine the degree of readiness of the student to independently solve professional problems.

1.3.In the process of performing research and development work, the following tasks are implemented:

Systematization, expansion and deepening of students’ theoretical and practical knowledge in their specialty;

Application of knowledge in the field of economics in solving specific scientific and practical problems;

Mastery of methodology and methods of scientific research;

Development of skills and abilities of independent work.

Structure of final qualifying work

The thesis must contain the following structural elements: title page, assignment for the essay, abstract, content, introduction, main part, conclusion, list of sources used, appendices, supervisor's review (not filed), review (not filed).

The title page is the first page of the VRC, serves as a source of information necessary for processing and searching for the VRC, and should include:

Describe the subject and object of research. The object of research, as a rule, follows from the formulation of the topic and characterizes the boundaries of the study. Subject of research - economic relations, properties and functions identified in the object of research;

Formulate the main goal of the research project as the expected result of the research, which can be expressed in identifying new results in the development of theory, in positive changes in practice. The goal statement includes:

Target action that must be performed on the subject of research within the object: develop, justify, identify, disclose, provide, analyze, etc.;

The target subject as part of the purpose of the research: ways and means, directions, requirements, aspects, etc.;

The main part of the thesis contains a presentation of material that reveals the implementation of the research goal and the solution of the theoretical and practical problems outlined in the introduction:

The second section (chapter) of the WRC provides a critical analysis of the current state of affairs on the problem under consideration in the conditions of practical activity. The purpose of such an analysis is to identify both positive and negative aspects of the state of the issue being studied and to search for possible solutions (improvement, perfection, development), or to find fundamentally new approaches. It is necessary, in addition to stating the facts, to give them a qualified assessment and develop recommendations for solving the problem.

The degree of elaboration of solution options is agreed upon with the manager. Each recommendation (solution option) must be fully disclosed and justified.

The text part of the theoretical and practical sections should be supplemented with tables, figures, graphs, references to literature, etc.

All chapters and paragraphs are arranged in the order specified in the CONTENTS and must be logically interconnected, ensuring consistent development of the main ideas of the topic throughout the entire thesis.

The distance between chapter headings and its text should be 2 spaces. The distance between the paragraph heading and its text should be one space.

On the page where the title of a paragraph or subparagraph is given there must be at least two lines of subsequent text.

Review is the most important document that determines the completeness and quality of the thesis submitted for defense.

The review is prepared in free form, but must include an assessment of:

Compliance of the content of the WRC with its topic;

Relevance and social significance of the topic;

The main results of the WRC, including novelty: new ideas, original research methods, new approaches;

Practical significance and possibility of implementing the results of research and development work into practice, the expected effect;

Validity of conclusions and proposals;

Existing shortcomings of the thesis (in content, presentation and design of materials), as well as questions for the student and the recommended overall assessment of the thesis. A sample review format is given in Appendix L.

Competencies of a university graduate as a cumulative expected result upon completion of training in the “Organization Management” profile:

· possession of a culture of thinking, the ability to perceive, generalize and analyze information, set a goal and choose ways to achieve it (OK-5),

Selection and approval of the theme of the WRC

The choice of topic for a bachelor's thesis is determined by:

The student’s level of knowledge in the main disciplines of the curriculum,

Place of work (base of practical training) of the graduate,

Scientific interests of the graduate,

Practical orientation of the WRC.

The subject of the research and development work must be relevant and correspond to the current state and development prospects of the organization (enterprise).

In addition, the topic of the WRC may be of a research nature.

Taking this into account, the topic of the bachelor's work is determined by the student independently, and it is necessary to take into account the possibility of obtaining specific statistical data on the object of scientific research, as well as the availability of special scientific and educational literature on the problems considered in the work.

The main criterion for a graduate to choose a topic for the thesis should be the student’s research interest, as well as the interest of the administration of the enterprise (institution, organization) on the example of which the research is being conducted. If a student clearly understands which topic he can find the most complete and meaningful material on, then, other things being equal, this circumstance can determine the choice of topic.

Approximate topics for final bachelor's theses are presented in Appendix A.

Using the right to choose, the student can propose “his” topic for the thesis subject to the justification of the feasibility of its development. For a graduate who did not take advantage of the right to choose, the topic of the thesis is assigned at the suggestion of the supervisor.

The selection of the topic of the bachelor's work and its approval must be completed before the end of the practical training.

Assigning the topic of the thesis to students upon his written application and upon the recommendation of the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems is formalized by order of the rector of the university.

At the same time, by order of the rector, supervisors of bachelor's work are appointed from among professors and associate professors, experienced teachers and researchers of the university. In addition, managers can be researchers and highly qualified specialists from other institutions, organizations and enterprises.

WRC management

The supervisor is appointed to provide the student with theoretical and practical assistance during the preparation and writing of the thesis.

Supervisor:

assists the student in choosing a topic,

gives the task to the student, draws up a plan with him,

provides assistance in choosing methods for analysis and research,

provides qualified advice on the selection of the necessary scientific and educational literature, reference and statistical materials and other sources on the chosen topic,

conducts consultations as necessary,

carries out systematic monitoring of the progress of preparation of bachelor's work,

checks its readiness.

At various stages of preparation and implementation of the project, the tasks of the manager change.

At the first stage, the leader advises how to begin considering the topic, adjusts the work plan and makes recommendations on the list of references.

During the implementation of the project, the supervisor acts as an opponent, points out to the student the shortcomings of argumentation, composition, style, etc., and gives advice on how to eliminate them.

The student must perceive the recommendations and comments of the supervisor creatively. He can take them into account or reject them at his own discretion, since responsibility for the theoretically and methodologically correct development and coverage of the topic, the quality of the content and design of the thesis lies entirely with the student - the author of the work.

At the suggestion of the head, if necessary, the graduating department grants the right to invite consultants for certain sections of work at the expense of the time allocated for the management of the research and development work. Professors and researchers of the university or other enterprises and organizations can be appointed consultants. The consultant checks the relevant part of the work completed by the student and puts his signature on it.

The student - the author of the work - is responsible for the decisions made in the research project and for the correctness of all data provided.

The completed undergraduate thesis, signed by the student and, if necessary, by the advisor, is submitted to the supervisor.

After reviewing and approving the work, the supervisor provides feedback. The review should describe the work done by the student in preparing the thesis for each section. The review provides a comprehensive description of the quality of the bachelor's work, highlights the positive aspects, pays special attention to the previously noted shortcomings that were not eliminated by the student, and motivates the possibility or inappropriateness of submitting a diploma to the State Attestation Commission. In the review, the supervisor also notes the rhythm of the work, the student’s conscientiousness and independence, his activity and creative approach.

Then the VKR is submitted for normative control. In order to bring the work into compliance with the “Requirements for Standard Control”, it is necessary to use the methodological instructions that are posted on the branch’s website www.udgutura.ru in the “Methodological Materials” section.

Having received the mark and signature of the normative inspector, the student, together with a written review from the supervisor, submits the thesis to the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems, where, on the basis of the submitted materials, the issue of admitting the student to the defense is decided. In this case, a corresponding entry is made on the title page of the work.

If a decision is made that it is impossible to allow a student to defend himself, a corresponding protocol is drawn up and submitted to the university rector for approval.

Bachelor's thesis accepted for defense is sent for review.

Review of the thesis

To obtain an additional objective assessment of the student’s work, an external review of the bachelor’s work by specialists in the relevant field is carried out.

Specialists and managers of state, regional and local authorities, enterprises, institutions, and organizations of related industries may be involved as reviewers. The reviewer must have a higher education. Professors and teachers from other universities can also be involved as reviewers.

The reviewer is obliged to conduct a qualified analysis of the essence and main provisions of the work being reviewed and reflect in the review:

Relevance of the chosen topic; - independence of approach to its disclosure; - presence of one’s own point of view; - ability to use scientific research methods; - logic of constructing the work and presentation of the material; - degree of validity of conclusions and recommendations; - reliability of the results and their practical significance; - specific comments on the content, conclusions, recommendations and design of the work, indicating sections and pages; - recommendations for assessing the thesis on a four-point system (“excellent”, “good”, “satisfactory”, “unsatisfactory”). The review is written or printed in any form, recommended text volume – 1-1.5 pages. The review must indicate your full name. reviewer, his academic degree, academic title, place of work, position. The reviewer signs the review and marks the date it was written. The reviewer's signature must be certified by the seal of the organization in which he works. The review is not filed with the work, but is attached to it. The thesis with the review, the supervisor’s review must be submitted to the department no later than 7 days before the start of the work of the State Attestation Committee for the defense. Making changes to the final qualifying work after receiving the review is not allowed.

At the defense of the work at the State Attestation Commission, it is advisable to additionally submit a review of the organization for whose order the work was carried out. It should indicate the practical value of the results obtained and the stage of their implementation.

On the eve of the defense, the Chairman of the State Attestation Committee gets acquainted with the content of the thesis, reviews of managers and reviews.

VCR protection

The student, having received positive feedback from the supervisor, a review from an external reviewer and the decision of the Department of Management of Socio-Economic Systems on admission to defense, must prepare a report for 4-5 minutes, in which he must clearly and concisely outline the main provisions of the work. It should be taken into account that usually the basis for preparing a report (speech) is the conclusion of the WRC.

For clarity, it is necessary to prepare illustrative material of at least 5 pages with graphs, tables, diagrams (for each member of the commission), which make it possible to specify the main provisions of the report.

The report itself and its illustrations (handouts) must be agreed upon with the head of the WRC.

The report follows:

indicate the relevance of the topic of work,

list the issues and problems of the functioning of the WRC facility identified during its implementation,

justify the choice of management decision and prove its effectiveness.

The success of the defense largely depends on the quality of the report, so the issue of its preparation is very serious.

The defense is carried out at a meeting of the State Examination Commission. It consists of highly qualified university teachers, and in some cases, specialists from enterprises and organizations. The composition of the commission is approved by order of the university rector.

The committee meeting may be attended by the heads of the research and development work, reviewers, as well as students and interested parties.

The order of defense is as follows: first, the student makes a report, then the supervisor’s review and review are read out, after which the student responds to the comments made in the review and review.

For each WRC, the commission asks questions. In addition, the student’s supervisor, reviewer, and everyone present can ask questions to the student. It should be kept in mind that answers to questions should be concise, clear and convincing. The assessment for the research and development work is assigned by the commission at the end of the working meeting. At the same time, the issue of assigning appropriate qualifications to successfully defended students is being resolved. Also, the commission can express a special opinion on a number of works - recommend for implementation, recommend the author for admission to a master’s program, recommend preparing an article based on the project materials, etc.

The decision of the State Examination Committee is final. 2. Structure of the WRC

Introduction– this is the introductory part of the thesis, in which the theoretical and practical relevance of the chosen topic is substantiated, the object of the work is determined, its purpose and objectives are formulated, and a brief summary of the main sections is given. The introduction volume is up to 3 pages.

Main part The thesis includes several sections (chapters), the number of which depends on the chosen topic and is determined by the student in agreement with the supervisor. It is recommended to form 3 chapters in the main part of the work.

To the first chapter it is advisable to include consideration of the following issues

General characteristics of the organization,

Managment structure,

Organizational personnel and the effectiveness of their use,

External environment (suppliers, consumers, competitors) and marketing in the organization,

Analysis of the dynamics of the main economic performance indicators for 2 years.

Giving a general description of the organization, it is advisable to outline a brief history of its formation and development, formulate the goals and objectives of its activities, and give a brief description of the products (works, services).

When considering the issue of managing an organization, it is necessary to characterize the organizational structure, highlighting management-level units, main production units, auxiliary units, and also characterize the interrelations of units in the organization.

One of the essential characteristics of an organization is its dependence on the external environment. In this regard, it is necessary to imagine the external environment itself and consider its impact on the activities of the organization. At the same time, it is important to identify the most significant factors of external influence and effective ways to respond to them.

In the second chapter necessary:

Identify the main problems in the organization’s activities,

Of all the problems, highlight 1, maximum 2 most relevant for the organization,

Consider theoretical questions on the topic of SRS,

Develop options for solving the identified problem,

Conduct an analysis of the proposed options,

Select the most appropriate management option for solving the problem.

The development of options for solving a problem involves the formation of 2 or more management decisions.

The formation of management decision options should be accompanied by theoretical study of relevant issues. In this case, it is necessary to assess the degree of knowledge of the problem(s) posed, consider controversial issues, and analyze domestic and foreign experience. Consideration of theoretical issues on the topic of work involves the study of about 10 literary sources, which should include monographs of the most authoritative experts on the research problem, articles in scientific journals, and publications on the Internet. Links to sources in the text of the work are required. Based on the analysis, the author’s own point of view of the final work should be formed, the most important points for the development of the chosen field should be listed, taking into account which management solutions to the problem will be formed.

When identifying the main problems of activity in functional areas of management (production, marketing, infrastructure, etc.), it is advisable to conduct a SWOT analysis and build a “problem tree”.

In the third chapter management decisions are selected and justified.

Each solution option proposed in the second chapter must contain

Description of the essence of the proposed solution,

Quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the design solution according to possible results and required costs of all types of resources (material, labor, financial, etc.),

Characteristics of sources of resource formation,

Analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the design solution,

Characteristics of the risks of design solutions,

Duration of the project,

Conduct an economic justification for the project (management decision).

On this basis, a management decision is selected - a project aimed at solving the problem(s) posed. Main: It is necessary to provide clear evidence in favor of the decision being made.

After the choice of the final solution has been made, it is necessary to propose a plan for implementing the project.

Conclusion should contain the main conclusions obtained during the implementation of the WRC. In this section it is advisable to include brief conclusions based on the results of the analysis of the organization’s activities, the main problems of the organization’s management, a brief description of the proposed management solution and the results of calculations for its economic justification.

Bibliography is an integral part of the final work and shows the degree of knowledge of the problem, includes sources used by the author when studying the topic and writing the work, and is drawn up in accordance with the requirements of GOST 7.1.

IN applications materials are brought out that make the main part easier to perceive without overloading it. Applications contribute to broader coverage of the topic, however, the main text of the work should be created in such a way that it is self-sufficient and contains a small number of applications. The content and form of the application can be very different: copies of documents, excerpts from reporting materials, tables, graphs, diagrams, etc. The main test of the work must contain links to all applications provided.
