TV channel Mezzo announced the start of cooperation with the Bolshoi Theater to conduct live broadcasts of theater productions. The first broadcast is scheduled for November 12, when in live it will be possible to see Shostakovich's opera "Katerina Izmailova" conducted by the world famous Russian conductor Tugan Sokhiev.

The premiere of the opera “Katerina Izmailova” took place in February 2016. The plot of the opera is familiar to the audience - the libretto was written by Shostakovich based on Leskov’s essay “Lady Macbeth” Mtsensk district" This opera by Shostakovich has been staged at the Bolshoi Theater three times since 1935. And now, thanks to cooperation with the Mezzo TV channel, connoisseurs around the world will be able to see the production simultaneously.

On September 17 at 19:10 on the Disney Channel there will be a premiere of the animated series “City of Heroes: A New Story” about the adventures of the young inventor Hiro, the robot Baymax and their friends. This project- continuation of the Oscar-winning feature-length animated film.

The action of the new animated series takes place immediately after the events of the full-length film “City of Heroes”. Very little time has passed since the young superheroes defeated the insidious villain Yokai and, as it seemed to them, lost Baymax forever. Hiro entered the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, where his older brother Tadashi studied.
There he accidentally ended up in Tadashi's laboratory and found Baymax's microchip, which allowed the young inventor to restore the robot. Together with best friends- the fearless Go Go Tomago, the pedantic Wasabi, the resourceful Honey Lemon and the resilient Fred - Hiro and Baymax again became a team of superheroes to continue to protect hometown from the machinations of insidious villains.
As in the full-length animated film "City of Heroes", in the animated series great attention given modern technologies and their application in Everyday life. For example, Hiro prints Baymax's armor on a 3D printer, in some lectures in Institute of Technology San Fransokyo students wearing glasses virtual reality, and special robots are responsible for cleaning the dining room.
The characters of the animated series will show young viewers by their example how exciting physics, chemistry and computer science can be, and what incredible opportunities knowledge of these subjects opens up.
The new series' animation style is inspired by Japanese painting techniques as well as classic Disney films, including 101 Dalmatians. “We settled on traditional hand-drawn animation because we wanted to create new world and style for our project. We wanted the audience, on the one hand, to recognize their favorite characters from the full-length cartoon, and on the other hand, to understand what awaits them in a completely new story“says the project’s executive producer, Nicholas Filippi.

On September 9, 2018, the Constitutional Court ensured uninterrupted broadcasting of television and radio broadcasts covering the by-elections of deputies of the State Duma, heads of regions, deputies of regional parliaments and heads of regional centers in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The broadcast was carried out through the technical means of the RSCC on the TV channels “Channel One”, VGTRK and their duplicates, on the radio channels “Radio Russia”, “Vesti FM”, “Mayak”.

On September 9, the 2018 World Volleyball Championship among men's national teams starts in Italy and Bulgaria. Thematic channel “Match! Game" will show the opening match. Live broadcasts of the competition will be aired on the Match TV and Match! Game", on the websites matchtv.ru, sportbox.ru, as well as in the application "Match! Club".

The 20th edition of the main championship among men's volleyball teams will take place from September 9 to 30, 2018. 24 national teams will take part in it. The tournament will be held according to a four-stage system: three group stage and playoffs. Bulgaria will host the first and second round games of the group stage.
Italy will host the opening match, group stage and the most important playoff games and final. The Russian team is in Group C and will compete with teams from the USA, Serbia, Australia, Tunisia and Cameroon. Behind modern history Russians only won silver at the championship once, in 2002. At the last championship in 2014 in Poland, Russian volleyball players took 5th place.
The favorites - Brazilians and Italians - have three victories in the championship. The opening match of the World Cup Bulgaria - Finland on September 9 will be shown on the thematic channel “Match! Game" at 20:25. The game will be commentated by Vladimir Stetsko and Tatyana Gracheva.
