Speech therapy work on the differentiation of unvoiced and voiced sounds is very important, since most children with general underdevelopment of speech have impaired auditory discrimination of phonemes. So, in oral speech, this deficiency leads to substitutions and mixtures of sounds, in writing it can manifest itself in the mixing of the corresponding letters when writing (“shuk”, “lodge”, “mazhina”).
