On September 9 and 10, 2017, the Russian capital will celebrate its 870th anniversary. The Moscow Anniversary festival will be held on the eve of the anniversary at 40 venues in the center and in all city districts.

The slogan of the event will be “Moscow is the city where history is made.” Guests of the festival will be told about those people, those events, those innovations, those cultural and sporting achievements that are known all over the world, but appeared in Moscow.

There will be seven main themes in total: “Moscow conquers”, “Moscow creates”, “Moscow builds”, “Moscow sets records”, “Moscow invents”, “Moscow opens” and “Our victories”.
