When the dough has thickened, I place it on the kitchen surface and knead until the required compaction occurs. I divide the finished lump into 2 parts and put it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. Stage 2 – prepare the filling. I wash the sour apples, peel them from seeds and cut them into not very thick slices. I sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon.

After the allotted time has passed, I take out the container and grind the mixture into fine grains with my hands. I pour heavy sour cream into it and quickly knead the dough.

I choose baking dishes with high sides, since when placing the dough in it, we form the sides at least 4 cm. Make shortbread dough I find that additional cooling of the base already placed in the mold makes it even more delicious. To do this, I wrap them in cling film and refrigerate them for another 20-30 minutes.

While the dough is simmering, I prepare the filling. Using a mixer, thoroughly beat the sour cream with eggs, flour, sugar and vanilla. I cut the washed apples in half and remove the cores. Then I cut it into thin slices. I generally don't peel the fruit, but if it's very thick or damaged, it's best to get rid of it.

After half an hour, carefully place the slices in a circle in a cooled form with dough. I pour it on top sour cream and put it in an oven preheated to 180C for about an hour. The time depends on the oven; after 40 minutes you should check to see if it’s done.
