But that doesn't happen. And it's not at all certain what will happen. Although it must be admitted that before the flight of Yanukovych, there were also similar conversations.

But most Ukrainians are now worried not about the millions that the authorities are taking or are planning to take out of Ukraine, but the very likelihood of such a long-awaited flight. What are the chances that there is at least some grain of truth in Oliynyk's words? Can Poroshenko and his entourage really prepare to flee, and what then awaits Ukraine? I asked people about this who are able to foresee political events several moves ahead.

Vladimir Fesenko, political scientist, head of the Center for Applied Political Research "Penta":

It all reminds the dreams, illusions and fantasies of the white emigration, which in the 20s and even in the 30s perceived every sneeze that took place in the already Soviet Kremlin as the impending collapse of the Bolshevik regime. This is where everything will happen. Here Stalin and Trotsky had a fight, here Zinoviev thought about something, and so on. Although already in the 1920s there was an awareness that this would be a long time and one had to somehow get along with this new regime.

Now they are waiting for this regime to fail. They do not understand that this regime is not Poroshenko. This regime is much broader - in different forms and in different faces. And if Poroshenko suddenly leaves, then, most likely, not to Spain, but as a result of some kind of presidential election, and it doesn’t even matter when this happens that another person comes. It doesn't matter who it will be: Tymoshenko or someone else. But this new president will not abandon the Maidan ideology. He will modernize it, change it. It is desirable that these be evolutionary forms of change. Nevertheless, there will be no revenge, no turning back and no restoration.

What Oliynyk has made public are night fantasies that do not adequately reflect the situation. I don't think Poroshenko is going to run. Poroshenko's psychotype is absolutely not the same person as Yanukovych. Oleinyk and Yanukovych did not know well. He was close to Azarov, but I think Yanukovych did not let Oliynyk near him. He knew Yanukovych poorly, Poroshenko knows even less, and now he is also far from Ukraine. Ukraine, and especially Ukrainian politics, must be felt. Abroad it is impossible to understand. Therefore, Oliynyk's statement is an inadequate assessment, it is a fugitive's fantasy about when and how he will be able to return to his homeland.

Yuri Gavrilechko, political scientist, expert of the Public Security Fund:

It is extremely difficult to talk about what could have occurred to Comrade Oliynyk or someone else. Oliynyk is responsible for the truthfulness of the information provided. But after the so-called films of Onishchenko, I am no longer surprised by anything and cannot rule out such a scenario. And if we still remember the declaration of Mr. Poroshenko, in which these Spanish villas are not indicated, although they exist, then I do not exclude the possibility of using them as a so-called alternate airfield. Why not?

But, again, the reliability of this information is under a very big question mark. If we talk about the readiness of our authorities to pack their bags, then there is always such a possibility, especially if we proceed from the fact that all the consequences of their leadership of the country over the past three years have only led to the impoverishment of Ukrainians, the economy "shrinked" more than twice and the situation continues to deteriorate. It is only at the Prime Minister that something is growing there, increasing, etc. In reality, as an expert, I cannot trust the data of the State Statistics Service for the last 1.5 years at all. Their information, in principle, does not correspond to reality, it does not reflect anything. Nothing at all. This information cannot be used either for calculations or for forecasts. It is plucked out of the nose, taken from the ceiling. This is not information in which statistics are given.

Recall the famous saying of Benjamin Israel: "There are lies, there are big lies, and there are statistics." So the Ukrainian State Statistics Service outdid this definition, because there is nothing at all in our statistics. The statistics are no longer there. Statistics is a collection of data. We no longer have data collection, we have some PR for some unknown reason. I can confirm my every word by refuting any data from the State Statistics Service, except perhaps for the officially registered unemployed.

Is it possible in principle to predict when the current government will go on the run? I recall my forecast five years ago that in the next decade Ukraine's main problem will be not so much the economy itself, but the destruction of infrastructure. And literally, the recent destruction of the overpass on Shulyavka once again shows that you can come up with any schemes, plan anything, you can hope that you will fly away somewhere, but there is one small problem: if your plane is refueled with diluted kerosene, which means, If it doesn't take off, then you won't run anywhere. And not because you do not want it, but because the infrastructure will not give such an opportunity. If we recall that thanks to the pension reform named after Comrade Tigipko, we now have air traffic controllers aged 50 and older, then we need to understand that the reaction rate at this age decreases due to physiology. Therefore, someone can direct the plane to the wrong place or simply not pay attention to something. That is, there are a lot of factors that are usually not taken into account, but which, nevertheless, constitute a risk group. Therefore, any plans that we will do something now, and then run away somewhere, can be covered with a copper basin due to the state of roads or equipment. Now in Kiev, the asphalt has come off the roads along with the snow, and everyone has noticed it. And now estimate how long it will take to get to Boryspil. Yes, whatever you drive, it will be a little longer than three years ago, simply because the state of the roads will not allow you to go faster.

Ruslan Bortnyk, political analyst, director of the Ukrainian Institute for Policy Analysis and Management:

I am sure that sooner or later our authorities will grab their suitcases, but this will not happen now. I think now Oliynyk's statement is pursuing political technology goals. This is an attempt, on the one hand, to discredit the president, primarily in the eyes of the Ukrainian establishment, and, on the other hand, to exert informational pressure on him. That is, Oliynyk's statement, I repeat, pursues exclusively political technological goals. The same was said to some extent in 2014 and 2015. From time to time, such information appears, and this is more an element of information warfare than reality.

Today, Poroshenko is still fighting and continues to hold on to power, and the critical moment for him has not yet arrived. Talk that allegedly Poroshenko will sit in his chair to the last and does not even think about fleeing is stuffing that is deliberately introduced by the president's political strategists and makes it clear that if you try to overthrow Poroshenko, there will be a sea of ​​blood.

But do not forget that Poroshenko is first and foremost a businessman. Relatively speaking, Yanukovych was primarily a representative of his subculture, with a criminal record, while Poroshenko is a businessman. And a businessman will never put his life in real danger for the sake of "money". Never. The situation is now being deliberately aggravated, and I do not rule out that at a critical moment Poroshenko will falter just like Yanukovych. Of course, he can shed some blood, but this is not a classic politician. This is not even Tymoshenko, who, for the sake of an idea or her principles, will hold on to the last.

As for the time frame, it is very difficult to predict here. It could happen in a month, or maybe in 2019. You need a detonator. Today there is a boiling point, but so far there is not enough detonator. This detonator can be a blockade, Onishchenko's films can become. That is, we need a detonator that will raise people to mass protests, and then events will begin to develop very quickly.

Each of us, looking at what is happening in the country, is waiting for the hands of politicians to finally get tired of stealing and they will move away from the trough. Is it possible? I really want to believe that yes, and that this will happen before the people finally lose their patience. And most importantly, it will happen without bloodshed.
