State University of Management. State University of Management What place does GUU take in the ranking of universities?

The research center website presents to your attention a new project - SuperJob University Rating.

The purpose of the rating is to assess the real employment picture of graduates of Russian universities.

The source of information for constructing the rating is the largest resume database in Russia, a website containing more than a million resumes of Russian specialists. The information base of the portal contains information about graduates of most higher educational institutions in Russia in almost all professions that exist at the present stage of development of the labor market. Two-thirds of the entire database consists of resumes of specialists with completed higher education.

The structure of the consolidated rating is a set of independent ratings for individual segments that characterize the picture of employment and quality of education of graduates of higher educational institutions today, namely:

  • employment rating by specialty;
  • rating of average salaries of university graduates working in their specialty;
  • rating of average salaries of university graduates working outside their specialty;
  • index of variation in salaries of university graduates when changing their specialty.
First of all, we address our rating to future applicants and their parents, that is, directly to those who will soon face a difficult choice - the choice of a profession and a university in which to receive an education. Of course, it is impossible to look into the future, but we hope that our rating, showing the real situation as it has developed for hundreds of thousands of graduates of Russian universities, will become a reliable guide for young professionals.
Rating Employment by specialty Average salary of workers in their specialty (M c) Average salary of workers not in their specialty (M n) Wage Variation Index
(IVM)
A more than 60% over 50,000 rub. over 50,000 rub. the ratio of the average salary of workers not in their specialty to the average salary of workers in their specialty

Good afternoon I am a student at the State University of Management. I am a 3rd year student, majoring in "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science".
I will list some facts that may help you understand what kind of university this is - SUM.
1. State University of Education is a university where you will not be forced to study. If you want to gain knowledge, then you will get it. If you don’t want to and entered for show, then you will be given a “3”, either the first time or after several retakes. Well, if you are completely arrogant, then you will be expelled.
2. Teachers. I think, like in all universities, we have very cool practicing teachers with whom you want to take classes, whose stories you can not notice how time flies. And there are also those whom you want to approach and say, “Teaching is not your business.” For such people, it is more difficult to assimilate the material, and often you don’t discover anything new for yourself, you just waste your time. So it depends.
3. The students at SUM are very friendly. We always support our friends at various competitions, we help each other with our studies (I speak as a person who communicates with guys not only from my group;)). And if you wish, you can establish contact with alumni, ...

who will help with employment or just life advice.
4. SUM has a very active student life. Our university is famous for this. There are many events held throughout the year, among which every student can find something to their liking and take part. There are also different clubs: KVN, "Debates", Case Club "Garnet", Studos, Photo Club "Lens", etc.
5. Dormitories. The settlement is of a “wave” nature. Factors such as distance of residence, eligibility for benefits, and number of Unified State Exam points are taken into account. The administration decided to take care of its out-of-town students and started renovations. The last thing that was done was to replace all the windows with plastic ones. By the way, for excellent students and activists there are floors with improved living conditions. So there is an incentive to not just spend your student life ;)
6. Admission. Open days are regularly held for applicants and their parents. Sometimes these are university-wide events, sometimes each institute (the same as the faculty in other universities) holds its own open day. Here you can communicate with both the administration and teachers, and with students. During the admission period, members of the Admissions Committee work with applicants. Students are carefully selected to work with you. So it’s not Vasya Pupkins who are working with you, but the best activists;)
7. SMU cooperates with universities from different countries, so students have the opportunity to go on exchange studies. Internships usually last about six months. All the guys who flew to study in other countries returned satisfied and happy.

For me, GUM is a university of freedom. You can study, be an activist, work, implement your plans and projects. What this university will definitely teach you is to set priorities and highlight the important among everything!
Good luck to you!

Good day. Since now the time for admission to universities has begun again, I decided to write a review about the State University of Management, where I have been studying for a year now.
I wanted to start with the admissions committee and submitting documents. I applied to 4 Moscow universities, and the admission process at the State University of Management seemed to me the most adequate and most conducive: my parents talked to the deputy. the dean of my faculty, who told us a lot about directions, specialties, and, in fact, this conversation also influenced my choice in the end.
I entered the budget program for the specialty "Hotel and Tourism Business". I’ll say right away, as in all universities, at State University the attitude towards paying students is, so to speak, “a little different.” So I wish state employees patience in some areas.
Dormitory. A huge plus is that everything is on one territory. The dorm, all academic buildings, sports complex, swimming pool - all on one campus, no need to travel anywhere. The downside is the appearance of the buildings and dormitories, and the very location of the university scares some (this is Vykhino, baby). Although essentially there is nothing scary in this place, it quickly became familiar and it’s difficult to call it criminal. But the renovation of buildings could have been done with t ...

how many paying students. But I’m already going deeper. The rooms are mostly good, block system (shower, toilet for 3-5 people), kitchen on the floor, everything is fine here.
Studies. Here, of course, it is still difficult for me to judge, because there are almost no special subjects in the 1st year, but some subjects (management theory, psychology, economics, culture of speech and business communication) were very interesting and useful, for which many thanks to the teachers. I hope it will be better further. There are also not the most pleasant teachers, but I think without this you can’t go anywhere. It’s not difficult to study, it’s more than possible to pass the exam. The downside here for me was that the university has 2 academic shifts (from about 8-15 o'clock and from 11-18 o'clock) and no matter what direction you study, you will study for two years in the second shift. A huge disadvantage for combining study with work, and indeed with personal life. But the entire 4th year is strictly on the 1st shift. Here I can only wish you patience and strength.
Stud. life. Very rich. At first I participated in a lot of places, played in KVN, took part in a talent parade, etc. In general, you can find something you like or continue your hobby at university.
The people here are good, not “snickering majors” (let’s call them that, no offense). Mostly adequate, simple and good guys with whom it is pleasant to communicate.
In the end, I want to say that in any university there will be a lot of pros and cons, they won’t work for you anywhere, and if you don’t look for something additional yourself (internships abroad, competitions, conferences, etc.) no one will bring you anything. saucer. If you don’t have super high Unified State Exam scores (by the way, the headscarf is also relatively inexpensive in Moscow), but have a desire to study in Moscow at a very good university, then State University of Education is suitable for you. I hope I can help someone with my personal experience in choosing a university. Good luck to all!

The other day I had the “pleasure” of listening to the motivational speech of the rector of the State University of Education L***** to the team. I still can’t get rid of the feeling of disgust. In short, “employees must create scientific schools, obtain grants, conduct world-class scientific research, establish interuniversity connections, and ensure the highest quality of education.” And all this was said to a team of 60+ summer employees, where a full-time associate professor’s salary is 30 thousand a month (in Moscow!), and a half-time salary is 15 thousand))))). And only pensioners sit there, who simply have nowhere to go. Well, no one even asked anything; everyone understood everything about these “bosses” a long time ago. In general, I felt the same disgust only from Putin’s New Year’s speech about “mercy”, after raising taxes, the retirement age and exempting oligarchs from taxes. Probably, throughout the country, degenerate bosses like L****** are taking their example from the main hypocrite?

This “management genius” also talked about how he was “ready for everything for the development of the university.” Any grants, equipment and everything everything everything. Out of curiosity, I asked the employees how much help they received in their ...
Show in full...
production requests - they responded that all their requests were ignored and they did not provide funding for anything.

During his time in office, L***** renovated the rector’s office premises - it became more beautiful there, for his beloved. But the student toilets remained homeless as they were.

In general, parents of applicants, this information is for you. If the budget is all right, for the sake of some formal piece of paper. But paying for it makes no sense at all. You can't get any education at State University.

Sharashkina is counter. The entire educational and organizational process is built through bullshit. Situations like: they gave lectures on one subject in one semester, and during the session they took and set another exam for which there were no lectures - ordinary ones. In the next semester, they again taught the same subject, for which there was a reading and the teacher sits and reads the same material... there is constant rudeness at the departments, if you are a correspondence student, then you will not have any meetings about your diploma and internships, you will call the department for you1. They will definitely be rude2. They won’t say anything specific. A simple example: you are looking for a place of practice, you need to know specific dates, but the department itself does not know anything. There are no classes, 3 they will always draw for you... in short, don’t come here, you’ll waste your time. Used to be considered one of the best, no big deal

I'm studying evening classes for the second year. World economy.

The level of education is simply zero. The teachers don’t give a damn about you, they may be half a week late or not come at all, or they may even go on vacation for a couple of months in the middle of the semester.

Half of the subjects are passing - the teachers themselves read them for the first time. More often than not, they simply don’t come to classes. They promised two languages throughout the entire training. As a result, there was English for one semester. One old mathematician fell asleep during seminars.

Corruption is the heart of the university. And if the teacher also likes you, he may pester you and not give you a test under any pretext. The dean's office doesn't care either. I'm shocked.

The contingent is also appropriate. Just black people who don’t even know the Russian language.

Maybe it’s different in the daytime, but evening people are simply not considered people here. They really hate it.

I studied at the university for 5 years on a paid basis. I can only say one thing: this establishment is not worth the money they ask for their services.
1) the training of teachers is very questionable. Of course there are exceptions, but these are few. basically it’s just an hour and a half reading of the code or regulations with rare answers to students’ questions.
2) there is absolutely no technical equipment in the classrooms. The renovation is like after a bombing: drafts from the windows, swollen floors, cracked walls and ceiling. Again, there are a couple of auditoriums with repairs and equipment, but they are opened only on holidays.
3) flies and cockroaches crawl around the dining room, fly, and even came across in the cutlet, it’s good that they returned the money.
4) subjective attitude of teachers. The assessment depends on the teacher's opinion.
5) boorish behavior on the part of the university administration (HR department, legal department, dean’s office). They can scream hysterically.
6) no one will solve any problems, certainly for free.
An acquaintance is studying in graduate school, and for work he needed a certificate of free attendance. Nobody betrayed me, I listened to a lot of insults from the head of the dispatch department. They did not explain their refusal either verbally or in writing. I decided to transfer for budget points to correspondence, it turns out that only to the paid department and rates for transferring to correspondence are not issued!!!
In the end, I want to say: if you decide to choose this university, then study in a barn with useless lectures.

I am studying in the Jurisprudence direction at the IGUIP Institute. Well, I actually don’t regret one bit about coming here! Of course, I don’t know the situation in other institutes of our university, but I can vouch for IGUIP! This is an excellent institute, the teachers are all excellent, there are many practicing lawyers with success and an impressive status! To be honest, there is only one teacher who is no good at all. He taught us Latin and Roman law! Mumble mumbles all the time and explains incomprehensibly, and by the way, he graduated from the Kutafin Moscow State Law Academy... but this person has nothing to do with such a university! Let's get back to our sheep. SUM has a great opportunity to lay the foundation for the future! Here, I think, like in any other university, it will be good only for the student who makes even the slightest effort to study, and then the teachers will help, but if a person does nothing and doesn’t want to study and study, then he will be a moron, even at State University or at Moscow State University Excuse me, this is the work of a student.
In general, he briefly talked about the university and more specifically about the IGUIP Institute. YES, and by the way, there is no corruption in our institute, at least an acquaintance suggested it, but they sent him to hell and said again if he offered to hand him over to the police.

I graduated from the State University of Education with honors, I can say that the university consists of freebies, smart teachers and teachers who are not at all like pedagogues (they read from a piece of paper, see the subject for the first time, etc.).
I had the worst luck with the management teacher. She didn’t care at all, she downloaded tests and crossword puzzles from the first page of Google, dismissed half of the classes, was late for most of the classes, sent graduate students instead of herself, etc. Some subjects were taught by pensioners who were already, as they say, “ off topic."

On the good side, there are many really good teachers, demanding, knowledgeable, and interested. I know marketing, all mathematical disciplines, statistics, world economics, management accounting and other subjects well now.

In principle, “if you want to know, you will know, if you don’t want to, you will still get a diploma” - this is about the State University of Management. When I was not at all satisfied with the lecturer of our group, I agreed to go with another group, the teachers selected educational materials for me to study independently, an interested student is always welcome.

She has a fairly high level of proficiency, but I learned something new only from her. The rest are useless, and during my training I attended classes from four different ones.

They don’t know the word “organization” at the State University of Management. Everything is at the last moment, there are queues for offices at the right moments, you have to wait a lot for all the paperwork, etc. Many ladies and gentlemen really like to yell. Some only talk to students by shouting.

Corruption, which they are always trying to fight. In the process of studying, I came across two teachers who gave an ultimatum in the spirit of “either buy my book from me, or don’t pass it.” One was suspended from classes after my session, I don’t know about the fate of the other. I didn’t buy their waste paper myself out of principle.
Some acquaintances, as far as I know, bought coursework, grades, diplomas from teachers, but there are also those who are truly fundamentally incorruptible.

In general, the students have an atmosphere of “and so it will go,” but at the same time they want a lot, all the streams with which I went. I have repeatedly seen dramas “WELL, I GOT A C” from particularly impudent students.

Vykhino is a normal area, I don’t know why some people are so afraid of it. There have never been any problems with the local fauna

I would like to note right away that before entering this university, I also read a lot of reviews about it, judging by which, the university seemed like an average one among the rest. Now I’m finishing my first course and decided to write my own review as truthful as possible. First things first.

1. Admission
As has already been mentioned by many people, the easiest way is to enroll in management or economics. The reason is the large number of allocated budget places. The main advice to applicants is to be as vigilant as possible if you are applying for management, as you will need to prioritize in the list of study profiles (this includes financial management, international and all that). It’s worth mentioning here that, despite the considerable number of budget places, no more than 25 are usually allocated for each individual profile. Most guys don’t end up where they wanted, having inattentively checked the boxes. In general, you can be sure of admission to at least management if your total final exam score is more than 245 points.

2. The hostel and its location.
The main advantage is that ...

both the dormitories and the university are located on the same territory. The main grocery stores such as Pyaterochka, Perekrestok, Vkusville, and KFS are nearby. The journey to the metro will also take no more than two minutes on foot; the hostels can be seen right at the exit from the station. There are 2 dormitories in total, they were built a long time ago, but the condition is quite normal. The blocks have two rooms, one of which is usually single and the other triple. Usually freshmen are given the last one, but if you're lucky, you can get a two-ruble. There is corruption in the campus system, and the newly appointed director apparently loves money. It happens that they even get a one-room apartment (have your money ready when you move in, just in case). The resettlement system is hierarchical; senior students apply to live with fewer people.

Now the cons. Despite the proximity to the metro, the station itself and the line can hardly be called a gift. Vykhino is one of, if not the most complete, station of the Moscow metro. Trains on the branches often stop, especially between Volgogradsky Prospekt and Tekstilshchiki, as well as Ryazansky Prospekt and Vykhino. In the morning, you can get to the university in 18 minutes from the roundabout, but it happens that all 35 are in a very strong crush inside the car. If you are from Moscow, then the trip to the university will eventually make you hate its location. The university is located on the outskirts of the city, a kilometer away from the Moscow Ring Road. At the exit from the main educational building - Ryazansky Prospekt, at the exit from the dormitories - the south-eastern chord and railway tracks. In short, the campus is not in the best location.

During the period 2018-2019, the dormitories were modernized. In each of them, free laundry rooms with washing machines and dryers have appeared on the ground floor. There are surveillance cameras on every floor and in the elevators. The dormitories have a general workers' headquarters.

3. Training.
“If you want to study, you will get knowledge; if you don’t want to, you will get a diploma” - this is about the State University of Education. The quality of knowledge you receive is another matter. Having studied for only a year, we can say with confidence that there are no practical teachers at the university. Of course, there are smart ones, but there are very few of them. An exception may be the marketing institute. In other institutes, during classes you will be given the most ordinary and boring theory, which is also outdated at the moment (maybe this is also observed in other Moscow universities). The university is not demanding, you can skip tons of classes, the main thing is to pass the session and still crawl to the next course. The dean's office system is complete, people in which it is not clear what they do, but they certainly do not work. The dean's office of the IEF deserves special attention, whose employees are complete imbeciles. You will most likely get an answer to your question only when you raise your tone ;-)

In general, if you want to enroll on a paid basis, then it’s better not to. You'll flush ~800k down the toilet for a bachelor's degree. You will not gain any special knowledge. At university there is time for self-development, so it is better to pay more attention to it. If you have enough brains to pass the Unified State Exam at 250 for the State University of Management, but not enough for the tower, then welcome.

I entered the State University of Management, 250 points, management, and came here because I needed a 100% option to get into the first wave + dormitory! Initially I knew that there were stronger universities (finashka/pleshka); I will say one thing - the university does not yet evoke any positive emotions, well, I assumed that at the university there is self-education, but not arbitrariness in the education system. After 2.5 months of training, I’ll be honest, I haven’t learned anything NEW, the only thing I can do from dz is curse words, because I came across a very noble lady from hell; foreign languages, namely English, at a zero level, if you took the Unified State Exam or at least have at least some knowledge in the field of language, I assure you that you will forget absolutely everything here, nothing new. As for the subjects themselves, many are uninteresting, and the teaching staff seems to be disinterested at all. They threaten with expulsion for absences, but in reality no one has ever been kicked out for this. In short: if you want to party, SUM is for you, if you want professional skills, this is not the place for you. I'll see that the university teaches you how to fuck, apparently a true manager should have this quality

I study at IOM. Therefore, it will be about my faculty (in GU they are called institutes), it is not correct for me to talk about others.
There are no requirements. Of the worthy teachers, 2-3 can be distinguished. In addition, in 95% of cases people go to IOM who did not get into another department based on their scores. But at the State University of Management the system is special. You enroll in the training direction, and then you are assigned to the institute (August 11-15). Very inconvenient and not transparent.
The hostel is given to those who do not have benefits only since September 11th. It is not clear where to live before September 11th. Dorms rated 5 out of 10. Cockroaches and unsanitary conditions (except for floors for excellent students)
Overall the level is pretty average. Go there if you want to party and don't want to study. If you have a head on your shoulders and the quality of education is important, then this is not the place for you.

Although the university positions itself as an economic one, there are also good training options for techies.
Pros:
1) Relatively low admission score, although in 2019 it increased by +-20 points
2) Strong mathematics, future programmers will understand me. The teachers are demanding; absenteeism will immediately affect the exam result. Some practice a point-rating system, so for absenteeism you may not get at least a grade of three. You won’t be able to cheat on the exams themselves; you will be closely monitored.
3) Pairs for the first shift start at 8:15. Some may think this is too early, but in fact, with the maximum number of couples, you will be free at 15:15. In my first semester, I generally had 2 classes 4 days a week, and at 11:25 we were already leaving home.
4) Repair. Now the State University is being renovated everywhere, the windows in the dorms have been replaced with plastic ones, all the university buildings have been clad in a more or less beautiful cladding, and the library and co-working area are currently being completely renovated.
5) There are three cafes and two canteens on the territory, next to the KFS university.
6) Proximity to the metro, this is especially pleasing in winter.
7) Very active student life. Many different events for students, interest groups ...

like “Instrumental”, “KVN”, etc.
8) New computers. Those who are somehow connected with a computer will understand how important this is. All programs work, fast internet.
Minuses:
1) A very important disadvantage that you will have to fight on your own - they teach programming poorly. Some teachers have the position that the best programmer is a self-taught programmer, so the bulk of the information needs to be studied on your own.

Institute of Economics and Finance

If you go to this university, then under no circumstances should you go to the department of world economics.
The leak will be about her. The motto of this department is “to take away all the money and nerves from people.”
The head of the department, L*** T.N., practically does not appear at work, so there is nothing to say about her except that she simply does nothing. S*** E.N., her faithful assistant, who in general does all the work of the manager, smokes tirelessly in the office, in front of pregnant women, in front of girls and in front of everyone, while swearing obscenities, not at all embarrassed by the presence of students (including including in the exam). As a teacher he is not bad, he talks interestingly and is demanding, but as a person he is very difficult to tolerate. He has a friend P*** A.V., also a teacher, responsible for fire safety, who smokes in the office and likes to sip strong drinks during the work process. As a teacher, he is a terribly irresponsible person. He threatened to almost expel him for his classes' absenteeism, which is why all the students arrived at 8:15, while he himself appeared at 9:30-10:00, without apologizing or explaining himself. Their faithful friend is S*** S.M., who monotonously reads lectures from a piece of paper, but demands excellence in the exam ...

No real answer (well, if, of course, you are “friends” with her, namely, you help her fill out the documents that she must fill out, then you don’t have to teach her at all), this is the only way to siphon off money.
Needless to say, for all their shortcomings, this trio confuses students with mud, instead of showing up to classes on time and doing their work.
M*** A.N. He sells his books for credit, that is, if he didn’t buy a book, he didn’t get credit (5 out of 100 passed without books).
There are also good, conscientious teachers, such as A*** O.B., M*** I.S., M*** O.V., G*** K.G., but they are only shadows of the above-described mafia, which even has a separate office from the entire department.
It’s possible to pass without money (personal experience), but you will be ostracized. However, during your thesis defense and state exams, they will still write you a list of products (henesy, caviar, a box of champagne) that you will have to bring to the table. This year there were two cases: the guys modestly set the table (water, fruit, cold cuts), for which P*** called them ungrateful (why should we thank them?), took whatever alcohol he had for himself (although he was not a member of the commission) and went to sunset. The second case: the guys covered everything according to the list sent in advance, a lot of alcohol (which they were told to buy at the department), and then a surprise: a check from the rector’s office! All the alcohol was taken away, the guys were scolded and forced to write explanatory notes, what did the teachers do? It's very funny, but they hid! Then they came out and said “don’t worry, you won’t be expelled, it will damage the image of the department.”
You will not gain any knowledge, only negativity and hassle. Run away from Vykhino)

2) Study. Why do lawyers need computer science in the form of tables in Excel? I'm wasting my time. The schedule is just stupid and inconvenient. No one cares at all about you and your knowledge, you came for a couple - you can lick your ass and get a machine gun, if only you quickly left here and freed the poor teacher. No adequate tasks, little useful information. You can calmly do nothing, no one is worried about you and your education.
3) View. The case looks terrible, everything is old, for the money they receive from payers, the external and internal appearance could be improved
4) People. Sorry, there are only girls of easy virtue who just hang out in the corridors, in indecent clothes, and horny guys, speaking of clothes, you can have some kind of limits, a dress code ...

certain to establish why people look at cutouts in the front and panties in the back as a panel, and not everyone comes to study. Some are swearers and have no upbringing. Boorish attitude, no help, everyone thinks about themselves. Dedication is a completely separate issue. It's just a disgrace, it's better to spend the weekend at the zoo with animals, but wait, those were animals. The curators didn’t care, they encouraged everyone to drink and smoke, the more the better, they didn’t monitor it at all. Debauchery and casual sexual relations were not very pleasant to watch; everyone goes there with one goal - to get drunk and find a partner for the night. It's a pity for the money spent. How can one advocate for canceling this event altogether?
5) Conclusion. I don’t live in a hostel, so I can’t say anything. I really regret enrolling here, by the way, it’s easy to enroll here, you have enough points - you’re welcome, you have the money - you’re already on the list of students without a queue. No meaningful study, the teachers don’t care, no practice, just useless supposedly “student” life, which takes up study time. Activities are boring, you can fall asleep. I don't like studying at this university at all. I regret enrolling. It was a lyrical digression. Now briefly on the pros and cons.
Pros:
1) Dorm. There are two dormitories right on the campus, you don’t have to travel across the whole city, which is definitely a plus.
2) No extortion during studies. You don't have to pay any money to take the exam. But if you want, then this can be done through certain people.
3) To fly out of the guu, you need wings.
4) GUU teaches you to learn. How he does this, you will find out below.
Minuses:
1) Administration. The most important problem of the university of management is the ...

good management. All further problems follow from this.
2) Dormitory. To get into the hostel you need to submit the necessary documents, and then hope that the commission will settle you at a certain housing commission. They are usually settled in several stages until December. There have always been small complaints from those who are not accommodated for a long time, but this is normal. In the same year, the parents of the first-generation children began calling the housing commission and whining about the fact that their children were not being accommodated. Moreover, there were a lot of calls. The housing complex cannot do anything because there are not enough places in the hostel. Why they are missing is a different story. We won’t talk about the fact that in addition to students, teachers also live, and a mini-hotel is organized in the dorm, we won’t talk about the fact that it has always been like this. An acute shortage of places occurred due to the ingeniously implemented renovation. Initially, it was planned to do the renovation during the summer holidays, but the deadlines were delayed and it is still not completed. As a result, several floors simply stand idle without residents.
Okay, there aren’t enough places, parents are calling and complaining that the first-year students are not being accommodated, what will the managers of the first-year school do? They decided to evict everyone who could be evicted for more or less formal reasons. People were called to the commission for conflicts with neighbors, as well as for partial residence in a hostel; the first have been forgiven, the second have not. The second are people who have not lived in a hostel for more than two weeks, including those who went to practice in another city, went on vacation, etc. The fact that they have nowhere to live does not bother anyone. In general, the university’s position is: the student must fulfill all obligations to the university, and the university does not owe him anything.
This feels very good when you are already living in a dorm. You can be evicted for trash in the room, unwashed dishes, the presence of a kettle stand, microwave, etc. in the room. It is also forbidden to be in someone else’s room after 22-00, passage between dorms is also until 22-00.
What is the administration doing for its part?
For several weeks now, students have been freezing without heating in their dorms, and on September 30, an announcement about turning on the heating finally appeared. After that, the heating never appeared, but there was no hot water for several days. Today they announced that the heating would be turned on again, but at the moment the heating has not appeared, but the hot water has disappeared again.
The dorms have terrible wiring, so heaters cannot be used. How not to connect microwaves and kettles in the room. All of them are taken to the kitchen. There is one kitchen per floor. Yes, it's easy to go into the kitchen and heat it up. Everyone is used to it. But not everyone manages to get access to their equipment, because some kitchens close at 22-00. For example, they are closed in the 6th dorm on the 9th and 11th floors, because the vice-rector lives on the 10th and is allegedly disturbed by students making noise in the kitchen. Why the hell he lives in a student dormitory and why two floors of students should suffer because of him is not specified. It is noteworthy that the kitchen on his floor is not closed, apparently its noise does not interfere.
Another disadvantage of the hostel: frequent false fire alarms in the morning, destroyed rooms, nagging commandants when they are pressured from above, cockroaches, some rooms have bedbugs.
Among the advantages of the hostel, it is worth adding the availability of free washing machines, weekly change of linen, the presence of a plumber and locksmith, and the ability to replace furniture, if available.
It is worth noting that the cost of a hostel has increased over 3 years from 11 to 30 thousand.
3) Quality of education and teachers. The competence of most teachers is under huge question. Studying at GU means either going and checking in, or not going and making an agreement. Moreover, those who agree take exams more often, prepare for them, and therefore know the subjects better than excellent students. Most of the teachers are old theorists who rewrite their textbooks year after year, and some even still explain using the example of the Soviet Union. But this is still normal, since there were also those who did not understand anything at all about the subject being taught. There was a case, for example, where the teacher called on the phone during class time and asked her husband the answer to a problem that she herself had given us for the test. This is not the only and far from the most severe case.
Of course, there are teachers from God, sometimes you come across them and most often have real experience in the profession, they explain well and give real cases. But, alas, there are few of them.
The education system itself is also strange, first general education subjects for the first three semesters, and then all we did was take the same subjects only under different names. Apparently it was necessary to extend the training over 4 academic years, but there were not enough subjects.
It’s not difficult to learn; it’s rather unclear why it’s needed at all. The university only takes time away from those who have already found a job on their own and are gaining experience, rather than actually providing something. Since most teachers do not explain but demand a lot in the exam, you will learn to study on your own. This is a definite plus.
4) Inconsistency between the positioning of the university and the real situation. The university proudly calls itself the first management university, and constantly reposts on social networks the rankings of universities where it has been featured. In reality the situation is completely different. SUM is no longer the top, employers will not tear you away arms and legs after graduation, they look at its graduates on the labor market with some distrust. You should not expect help from the university in the matter of employment, although you will be provided with a place of practice, it may not correspond to your field of study. For example, some “managers” underwent training at a museum.
In general, this is a common situation for Russian universities, but education at SMU is quite expensive, so decide for yourself whether it’s worth spending money on it.
5) Rules. Rules change often at GUU, especially for those living in the hostel. For example, at the beginning of this year, GUU announced that it only accepted certificates from certain clinics; some detached themselves from their hospitals and attached themselves to recommended ones. A month passed and they were allowed to bring from any. In general, if you live in a dorm, then be prepared to be constantly threatened with eviction or blocking of your pass for failure to submit a certificate or some other small thing. Previously, these were just threats, but now they are slowly putting them into practice. Recently, security guards began checking bags at the entrance for the presence of alcohol. If you don't want to show it, they threaten to call the police. Overall, it's fun.
In fact, you can’t tell everything about GMU. There are plenty of mistakes and absurdities, but once you enter this university, you can be sure that you will be prepared for the quirks of life.

Negative impression

The other day I had the “pleasure” of listening to the motivational speech of the rector of SMU Lobanov in front of the team. Probably, throughout the country, degenerate bosses like Lobanov are taking their example from the main hypocrite?

This “management genius” also talked about how he was “ready for everything for the development of the university.” Any grants, equipment and everything everything everything. Out of curiosity, I asked the employees how much help they received with their production requests - they answered that all their requests were ignored and they did not provide funding for anything.

During his time in office, Lobanov renovated the premises of the rector's office - it became more beautiful there, for his beloved. But the student toilets remained homeless as they were.

In general, parents of applicants, this information is for you. If the budget is all right, for the sake of some formal piece of paper. But paying for it makes no sense at all. You can't get any education at State University.

Positive impression

I entered the State University in 2014, the first opinion, to be honest, was not the best, because I got to the university through local small shops and arches, where ordinary people who do not study at the State University pass by. Upon admission, everything was very organized both when submitting documents and from the beginning of studies. There are many good teachers at GU. The quality of education, of course, is a level lower than in more prestigious universities in Moscow, but this will not hurt a student who wants to study!

Negative impression

Graduated this year with a bachelor's degree at State University of Medicine. I received a lot of unpleasant impressions.
Disgusting organization of everything that can be poorly organized. The inability to reach the program directors, one of whom is your thesis supervisor, is worth it.
The caring attitude of the teachers: I vividly remember one sweet lady who was constantly late for lectures on management, skipped them, canceled classes, let everyone go early, gave assignments and tests downloaded from the Internet. A lot of freebies. There is a lot of "overdue" data. There is a lot of corruption, such as teachers who directly said that without buying their books it is impossible to pass, but fortunately it is not endemic, they are trying to fight it, and as a result, you can pass without it.
Most students also have a devil-may-care attitude. Nobody wants, knows or wants to know anything. And this is quite enough to graduate from university.
The curators changed one after another, but none of them knew anything.
The organization of overseas internships is disgusting, even though it is not easy to participate. Again, no one knows anything, no one is responsible for anything, there is no correspondence between the programs.
I’ll dilute this barrel of ointment with a spoonful of honey. We often met teachers who knew how to inspire interest in their subject and knew a lot about it, for example Tatyana Aleksandrovna Beregovskaya. It was only thanks to such teachers that I did not drop out of the first year.
I finished and am very glad that I will not be returning here again. I will enroll in another university for my master's degree.

My son entered State University of Education this year. I will not write again about the successful organization of a reception company. I would like to write a few words about my son’s first days at State University. The first thing that struck me was that a meeting was organized for the freshmen even before the start of the educational process. It was not a boring meeting or a “subbotnik”, but a well-organized meeting in the fresh air by the curators with competitions and quizzes, where the children could get to know each other. I quote my son’s review: “This is cooler than school graduation!” Then, from the first days of September, the curators met the children and accompanied them everywhere around the State University “by the hand,” until the first-year students themselves began to navigate the process and the university building. I see how my son happily rushes to the State University of Education every morning and compare it with how before I had to push him to school. I am glad that my son made the right choice by entering the State University of Medicine.

Positive impression

Good afternoon. My daughter is not studying at State University of Education yet, but just entered. I can say right away that the first impression from the Admissions Committee is extremely important to me. Everything here was organized at the highest level. I myself am a TOP manager of a large holding company and I can evaluate any action from the point of view of competent organization :)
A crowd of worried applicants with crazy moms (like me) and dads, especially those who didn’t write the Unified State Exam very well - this is a very difficult audience! There are always a lot of the same questions and mistakes when filling out documents. At SUM, I liked that people were led into the hall in sections, where a very polite senior student spoke in detail about how to fill out applications, what to pay special attention to, and whose applications will be accepted. Further, this “bunch” went into the next room, where there were a lot of tables and samples of filling were hung. Next, with the completed papers, you go to tables with inspectors who will tell you what to correct (if there were any inaccuracies). and only then do you go to the hall, where you are entered into the database by student operators under the strict supervision of responsible teachers.
I don’t know, maybe this is too much for some, but for me it’s a big plus! No fuss, no unnecessary worries - everything is clear and efficient!
We came to the university twice, the second time to write a statement of consent and sign a contract (my daughter is one of those who did not write the Unified State Exam very well). The main thing is that ALL SUM staff (from students in the PC, to teachers and dean’s office staff) were always very polite, explained everything in great detail and calmly.
My husband and I recommended this university to our daughter because a very respected specialist in the field of Marketing referred us to GMU. Yes, the language base is weak. But we go to State University precisely for marketing knowledge. And I really want to believe that my daughter will not be disappointed in the learning process! And she will learn the language at the same time at a language school.
And one more thing - I am not a hired person. Not a university employee))) I'm a real person :)
In addition, I can personally say that a good half of my very successful friends are GUM graduates. :)
Have a wonderful study everyone - if you wish!

Good university! Wonderful teachers! They give good knowledge, you just study! Yes, every university has shortcomings! There is corruption in the State University of Management. But since 2013 they have been fighting it. There is a change of leadership and quite successfully! There is an opportunity to go abroad on an exchange (nothing complicated - you pass the exam and that’s it). There is also a business center where they give real knowledge! I am for GUU.

No one is responsible for anything! In all 6 years, they have never provided practice! The money is not small, but it is of no use! Untalented teachers who can’t even explain their core subject! Deans change like gloves! The buildings are dilapidated! One projector for the entire building, no normal dining room, no cash register. Coffee machines do not work "UK" Semenovsky! The curator of the group was disgusting! Nobody cares! For 6 months they couldn’t explain the standards for writing a thesis! The schedule is a mess, no one can regulate it forever, teachers quit before the session! For tests and exams, others are already accepted! These universities need to be closed!

Second year, evening, world economics. They give exactly zero knowledge here. A teacher on global economics gave lectures from Wikipedia. My mathematician grandmother fell asleep during seminars. From the second year, the so-called DPV (elective subject) began, to which teachers simply did not come. Even if you want to study, you won’t be able to. Most lectures are repetitions of the textbook word for word. If you ask about an incomprehensible moment, the only answer will be: “Well, look for yourself in the textbook.” Or he simply ignores it. There is no language here. Neither according to the curriculum, nor as an extra. courses. Or rather, there are courses, but they are taught by senior students who speak very poorly themselves.
Everything is done for money and for the sake of money. If you are a paid student, you can take the session at least until the next one. State employees are forced to go to pay or resign. But open a new cafe in a university and sell pasta and rolls there.
The rector is always happy.
By the way, there were also three new rectors in 3 years. There's a lot to think about.
All positive reviews are written by the university itself. Do not come here under any circumstances.

There are a lot of reviews about the State University on the Internet, I’ll add my own) I love my university. Yes, there are problems here, some teachers are annoying, but where is it different? Here they give real knowledge, and not just extracts from third-rate books. Do you want to study? You will be given maximum knowledge, and if not, your problems. Having received the specialty of a manager in the Ros-Brit program, I am very pleased with the choice, I will immediately make a reservation: no one is forcing you to go to England) Moreover, at the university there are absolutely real opportunities to go to study abroad for six months for free, on a competitive basis. There are many subjects, some interesting, some downright boring. But, nevertheless, when you start working, they turn out to be almost the most important. Student life deserves special attention; there is something for even the most fussy person)
To summarize: no one will pull your ears, it is clearly stated here that the people who surround you are your competitors, your future and what place you will take in life depends only on you. And if you are ready to learn, they will give you more than enough knowledge.

Negative impression

I’m finishing the first module in the master’s program at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow, but I received my bachelor’s degree at State University of Education, so there is something to compare and say.
My review is more neutral than negative.
Let me make a reservation right away - I graduated from economics and will tell you how it was in my group.
The main problem of GUU, in my opinion, is the reluctance of most teachers to develop, but, apparently, this is greatly influenced by their age and their salary.
At SUM there is no red button for teachers like at a higher education institution, although this would not hurt many, because, for example, my management was led by the head of one of the departments of my institute, but there were at most 5 lectures for the entire semester, and even fewer seminars. Reason: classes were on Friday from 5 to half past 7, her personal affairs were constantly interfering with her (she had to take her daughter to the doctor, she had to go to the cinema with her, meet with friends). She herself voiced these reasons. Also, the sociology seminarian actively imposed his opinion on political and religious rules; the finance teacher was from the same class as the sociologist. The lady who did my bookkeeping was about 85 and had a very negative attitude towards the male half of the group. The young teacher, who taught several subjects in the specialty and econometrics, actively showed off how wonderful and promising he was, and that he would not stay in teaching for long. For now he is still teaching :) Although in his own disgusting manner.
Courses 1-2 were filled with a lot of strange subjects, such as political economy. But there were a lot of mathematical disciplines (a big plus, I think. Even though the program was at the 11th grade level of a regular school)
Years 3-4 were already more interesting, but the lack of English immediately after 1 year was annoying, but we continued to go to physical education until the end of the penultimate semester. :)
Separately, a few words about English: if you want to learn a language from scratch, then it is better to choose courses in special language schools. In most directions, foreign is disgusting. We read texts, learned vocabulary and did a retelling, this is what we did for the entire 1st year. In the English group, only 3 people were good.
By the way, it was easy to do.
Nevertheless, I want to say thank you to SMU, because I still have the knowledge that I received during 4 years of bachelor’s degree with dignity, but I was happy to escape to a better university. :)

Negative impression

GUU is my pain and deep disappointment.
I entered the master's program at the National Research University Higher School of Economics and am happy. Below will be given arguments on 11 points that particularly upset me.
1) There is a big problem with languages at the State University of Management. Moreover, the scientific and lecture base in the humanities is significantly outdated. Modern knowledge, methods and approaches can be gleaned from current scientific articles in Western journals. But, unfortunately, the majority of SUM teachers do not speak English at a sufficient level, and the university itself does not provide access to the most current scientific databases (“expensive” and “no money”).
HSE has a different approach. Most of the courses are taught in English, since various courses are often attended by exchange students. The professors' English is quite good. For the most part, everyone studied or received a PhD abroad, participates in international conferences in other countries of the world, and publishes in English.
There are strict requirements for the teaching staff compared to the State University of Management. Every year there are re-elections to the position at the tower. Moreover, any teacher must publish at least 1 scientific article in a (foreign) journal.
At State University you will meet a lot of non-professionals. During my time, in 2008, several luminaries in statistics and mathematics left, complaining about the low criteria for selecting students and general stupidity (people could not calculate the proportion in the 2nd year, and an associate professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences spent 40 minutes explaining this to the glamorous “blonds”).
2) Moreover, HSE has many visiting professors from South Korea, Great Britain, New Zealand, and Italy. There are also Turks with a Berkeley diploma :) At State University you are unlikely to find at least one teacher with a PhD from a normal university, say, at least top 20 in the world ranking.
3) There are many foreign students at HSE. Yes, yes, not from Zimbabwe or Vietnam, as in the State University of Education, but from normal European countries (Italy, France, Holland, Great Britain). The guys come on exchange for a semester or two. There are also smart people entering the full-fledged program. But there are still only a few of them (Fins, Latvians, Chinese).
4) The modular training system, compared to the State Educational Institution, is implemented in a radically different way. At the State University of Education, all disciplines are imposed by the DPV (elective disciplines have already been chosen for you and often this is some kind of nonsense).
At HSE, within the module there are 60% compulsory disciplines, and 40% you choose yourself. And no one will forbid you to take courses from the coolest programs - jointly with the London School of Economics (see the world rankings for yourself).
5) A great library, since you have to read a lot and all the textbooks are in English. Expensive books on econometrics for 6-8000 rubles. They can easily give it to you (of course, they are not endless, but there are definitely 17-20 copies in stock). I remember looking in horror at the online prices for these books and fearing that the library would not have a particular textbook. There were rows and rows of books.
Moreover, subscriptions to the online libraries of Oxford, Harvard Business School and the most famous journals are also available. All this will be useful in your studies to develop your own models and hypotheses.
6) At HSE there are no endless 2-3 retakes, like at the State University of Management. If you fail the exam, you go straight to the expulsion committee. That's why lazy people don't stay here long. You will be surrounded by interesting and smart guys. I was lucky with the group and even after moving to different countries, having found work in Europe in our specialty, we maintain contact.
7) All exams are written. An appeal is possible after grades have been assigned. And you are respected as a young colleague, and not as someone who decided to challenge the point of view of a great and terrible professor from the State University of Uzbekistan, rooted in sovietism and insanity, without any merit (neither domestic, nor even less so worldwide). At HSE, during the appeal, I managed to challenge two questions from the Adam Smith Prize laureate and still received 6.
8) Oh yes! The rating system is 10 or 100 points, which gives a more objective picture. Five are different from five.
9) Minimum bureaucracy: you can find out grades and other important news in your personal account. You order documents online.
At State University you need to run with your legs. Dean's office inspectors still manually collect all exam sheets and take them to the computer center (computer center), where the aunties enter the grades of all students into the antediluvian system. This is only necessary for calculating scholarships, since students also have transcripts. In short, endless duplication of pieces of paper with pieces of paper.
10) EACH classroom has a ceiling projector and a screen (or 2 - depending on the size of the room) and a monoblock. For very young children, you can borrow equipment without any problems in a special room. There are always markers.
At HSE, all lectures are in presentation format, which are duplicated by email to students. This approach is not possible at State University of Education: there is no equipment or classrooms with equipment. Teachers drone on from a piece of paper or a book (most of them), or ask you to buy your own manual.
I remember this shame - you can’t get a projector at the State University of Education or you need to look for a special audience that is not open on Saturday. The students ended up wasting a lot of paper.

Graduated in 1980. The knowledge acquired at the State University of Education is still sufficient for scientific and practical work. To this day (2015) I successfully cooperate with the university. I work in the specialty I received to this day in the system of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, doctor, professor. Relations at the university are very favorable and democratic. A large number of my classmates achieved significant success in science, business, and public administration. The education provided by the State University of Management can be called fundamental and comprehensive both in the field of theory and in the field of business practice and management.

A shame! The country's main university, which produces “managers” and managers within itself, cannot organize its work. Everything is terrible regarding the organization of studies, no one from the organizing staff wants to work, I’m already studying for the 6th semester, and only once in all the time did I find out my schedule before the start of the semester; before that, the schedule was always given after a week or even two! after the start of classes. And the pairs were randomly assigned (in the dean’s office they simply mixed pairs with free teachers). Starting this semester, “DAYS of self-study” were introduced, but our dean’s office did not bother to coordinate the schedule with the departments so that, as planned, they would give us DAYS (namely DAYS, not hours) of self-study. As a result, ALWAYS, without exception, it turns out that you have to arrive for one couple at five in the evening, or arrive for the first and third couple, and between them there is a window of TWO HOURS. And for some, the journey to the State University of Management (one way only) takes 2 hours, and all this to sit for 1 couple. And this is all a university that, at every convenient opportunity, declares that it is preparing the future of the country, that the best managers are graduating here, that everything is at the highest level. Yes, even cockroaches in the dining room won’t surprise anyone.
SUM rests only on individual teachers who sincerely try to convey knowledge to students.

Dear parents! If you want to send your child to study 1000 km, or more than 1000 km from your home, namely to this State University, then you will get nothing but deception. And prepare your children a monthly amount for living in an expensive apartment in the capital of our homeland, Moscow. What a mess it was, apparently, at this university, according to reviews, it remained so. They will promise you that your children will be accommodated in dormitories, but this, I assure you, is not the case. You will encounter another deception. This is a shame for such a seemingly prestigious university! Go where there are no such lies and falsehoods. And there are universities in Moscow where you won’t be deceived. And my advice to you is to listen to feedback sometimes. If anyone is interested in this review, please leave your phone number. WRITE. I am a student's mother. My son finished school well (no C grades), with a high Unified State Examination score. Finished the 1st year of MGSU, evening department at the branch in Lyubertsy. But they decided to close the branch. They wanted to transfer to the State University of Education on a paid basis. Today I called the admissions office. There was apparently an old woman sitting there, who immediately began to accuse me that my son had probably been kicked out and no one would take him. After talking with her, I received a lot of negativity. Although I contacted the dean’s office by mail and they wrote back to me that there would be no problems. It seems that SMU does not need paying students. We called several more state universities, and they accepted me without any problems. My son went to one of them to submit documents.

I want to remind everyone that when you graduate from school, you become adults who will make their own way. I did not study at other universities, but after graduating from school with a gold medal, I entered the State University of Management at the Institute of Information Systems (Management). My institute is much more complex than others: the course in mathematics, design and programming is about 70%, the rest is the same subjects as other institutes: management, finance, logistics, psychology, sociology, foreign language (2 years), etc. When Many have a five-day week and 2 pairs a day, we sat 6 days a week, 3-4. While others were out and about, students at my institute spent entire nights working on endless assignments. For the first time in my life, I was able to sleep 8 hours in a week in order to have time to complete assignments for one week, despite the fact that I do everything regularly at other times. Teachers understand what to give to students. Many of them are employees of very well-known IT companies. We are not given lectures, we learn to work. So, at the moment I am a senior student, but I work in a prestigious large company and earn quite serious money, despite my age. The most important thing is that I know what I’m doing and get great satisfaction from understanding myself as a specialist. Thank you very much to all the teachers of my institute. It’s a pity that many highly qualified personnel were laid off, but I’m glad that it was you who taught me. There are many opportunities here - career fairs, expensive software (SAP training, which is supported by the university itself), IBM products, BI platforms and much more, exchange training with universities in Asia and Europe, courses, student asset organizations, conferences and employment. You choose whether to make a human of yourself or barely get out of debt, leading an idle life. Unfortunately, it’s the same in life, some people prefer the easy way and complain about the government, lack of money and the high cost of living, while others overcome laziness and look for opportunities and ways to development. It’s a pity that we go to university as children, many of whom never understand what a university is.

I completely agree with the user “Response for the user “Rooster”. At the institute, if I may say so, they don’t teach anything about this. Complete theorizing by people who have not had an inch of contact with real business.
All training at this institution consists of:
1) Payment of considerable sums at Dalena Bank. For example, at State management price tag - 270 thousand rubles. in year (!). It’s not realistic to do it on a budget. Only thieves come. Nothing has changed in 2 decades;
2) Sitting at meaningless lectures where they read material that, firstly, is adapted for the states, according to American textbooks and has nothing to do with the real state of affairs in the Russian Federation;
3) Cheating from answers in exams (materials, as was correctly said, from the 90s).
