Salmon rolls. Lightly salted pink salmon roll with curd cheese Roll with salted salmon

If your team is planning an event and you are looking for an easy snack recipe that everyone will enjoy, then you have come to the right place. Salmon rolls with cheese and cucumber are a very tasty appetizer for any corporate event. It’s easy to prepare, pleasing to the eye, increases the appetite and is perfect with a glass. Exactly what you need for such events.

All you need is salmon slices, sandwich cheese, soft Philadelphia cheese (I use homemade cheese), cucumber slices and dill. Yes, also sesame seeds for sprinkling.

Place the salmon slices on the board, not overlapping, but evenly along the borders with each other.

Place sandwich cheese on top in one layer.

The filling for the rolls will be soft cheese with dill. Mascarpone or Philadelphia cheese would be perfect here.

If you don’t want to spend money on quite expensive products, then make this cheese yourself. To do this, I take sour cream with 20-25% fat content, put it in a bag made from a waffle towel (or gauze folded in several layers), tie it and hang it for 5-7 hours. All excess moisture drains off, and you are left with the purest and most delicate cheese, which is similar to the famous and famous “Marscapone” and “Philadelphia”.

Combine cheese with finely chopped dill and salt to taste. If desired, you can add ground chili pepper.

Place the filling on the cheese slices.

Cut the cucumber lengthwise into thin slices. This time I decided to make salmon rolls with fresh cucumber. But before that I made rolls with pickled cucumber, and I liked it better. Try two options and choose the best one for yourself.

All that remains is to carefully roll everything up. That is why we initially laid down the film. Roll the roll as tightly as possible and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.

If you are preparing this appetizer for a corporate party, then take it directly in the film and unwrap it just before slicing. The roll must be cut strictly along the boundaries of the salmon slices. Sprinkle the finished salmon rolls with cheese and cucumber with sesame seeds. Serve on a platter and expect compliments from your colleagues. I assure you they will. :)

Lightly salted salmon (like fresh salmon) is a storehouse of useful nutrients. Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids that prevent the development of atherosclerosis, easily digestible proteins, a large amount of vitamin B12 and other nutrients - in total more than 40 “building blocks” necessary for health - and all this in a small tasty piece of salmon.

Salmon rolls are original, very tasty and quick to prepare. Just 10 minutes is enough - and a snack of high dietary and nutritional value will appear on your table.

Salmon rolls with curd and cucumber filling

Ingredients

  • lightly salted salmon - 150 grams
  • fresh cucumber - 1
  • soft cottage cheese - 2 tbsp. spoons
  • mustard - half a tablespoon
  • salt and pepper to your taste
  • green onion feathers - according to the number of salmon rolls

How to cook:

ON A NOTE.
Before making salmon rolls, be sure to taste the fish, and if it is too salty, do not add salt to the cottage cheese.

For preparation, you can use either soft Dijon mustard or mustard with grains.

If you like spicy dishes, add half a crushed clove of garlic to the cottage cheese.

Salmon rolls with cheese and herbs

Another salmon rolls can be made by including hard cheese and herbs in the ingredients. Keep in mind that if the cheese is salty, the salmon should be smaller (thinner) or lightly salted. And vice versa. The third component of the rolls is fresh herbs.

Ingredients:

  • salmon - 450 grams
  • hard cheese - 300 grams
  • greens (parsley, dill, cilantro, basil, celery individually or a mixture) - at your discretion

How to cook:

Coarsely grate the cheese and place in a saucepan.

Wash the greens and dry with paper towels. Finely chop and combine with cheese.

Place the pan with the cheese and herbs in a water bath to melt the cheese.

During this time, prepare cling film, which needs to be folded in half, and a rolling pin.

Place melted cheese between layers of film. Roll with a rolling pin to make a thin layer of cheese.

Remove the top film. Place pieces of thinly sliced salmon on the cheese.

Roll the cheese and salmon into a roll, cut diagonally into pieces.

ON A NOTE. If the cheese is very hot, it will be difficult to cut the finished roll beautifully. Therefore, without removing the film, place the future salmon rolls in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

This appetizer is easy to prepare and doesn’t take long; make it just before serving. The fact is that both cheese and avocado tend to darken, and in this case, the appearance of the rolls becomes less bright and contrasting. Freshly prepared, they look very attractive.

Not all products that go well with salmon to taste can be easily “wrapped inside” the fish. For example, an excellent combination of lightly salted salmon, tomato and avocado is difficult to implement in the form of a roll (although it is possible).

This is how the idea arose to make “open” salmon rolls, beautifully standing on tomato slices, decorated with avocado puree. The filling seems to be taken “outside”. Effective, tasty, simple. For everyday and festive tables.

Ingredients:

  • tomatoes - 2
  • avocado - 1 large
  • salt, pepper - to taste
  • lemon juice - 1 tbsp. spoon
  • salmon - 200 grams

How to cook:

Grind the peeled and pitted avocado into a puree in a blender.

Add lemon juice, pepper and salt.

Cut the tomatoes into slices.

Using a pastry syringe or a homemade bag, spread avocado puree around the tomato circle.

Roll a thin slice of salmon into a roll and place in the middle.

Decorate with a small sprig of greenery.

ON A NOTE.
The avocado puree can be prepared in advance (to prevent it from darkening while waiting, leave the pit in the puree). But it’s better to chop the tomato before serving.

You can roll a slice of fish not only into a roll, but also into a bag - then it looks like a rose.

Salmon roll is just what you need: the perfect combination of fish, melted cheese and herbs. Its basis is thin lavash, which is loved by almost everyone, even the most picky ones. Many people will like this dish, and it’s hard to argue with that.

The filling for the roll along with salmon can be various fresh vegetables and herbs, boiled eggs, cheeses and other ingredients, and the soaking and binding component is mayonnaise, cream or processed cheese.

Lavash roll with salmon

This very simple step-by-step photo recipe for lavash roll with salmon will help you create a delicious and satisfying appetizer for a dinner party or picnic. It is made so simply that once you have done it, it will be a regular guest at your holidays. This appetizer is very suitable for the beginning of various parties, be it a wedding or a birthday.

Ingredients:

  • lavash 1 piece
  • lightly salted salmon 250 gr.
  • curd cheese 200 gr.
  • dill

Cooking method:

  1. It is better to take pita bread for the roll that is not very thin; a thin flatbread will do. Spread Almetta with herbs or other curd cheese on the pita bread in an even, non-greasy layer. It is better to make a roll with thick pita bread that will not crumble. Ready-made round pita breads are ideal. It is recommended to make ordinary traditional pita bread in several layers, i.e. initially 2-3 layers are great.
  2. Next, cut the salmon into thin small strips. All bones must first be removed from the fish. We buy ready-salted salmon.
  3. Finely chop the dill, having first washed it well and removed any thick sticks. Only the soft parts should get into the roll.
  4. Then place the salmon on the pita bread, as shown in the picture. Sprinkle chopped dill on top.
  5. Next, we roll the entire structure into a roll. You need to roll the pita bread carefully, without pressing too hard, but also without giving much freedom.
  6. After rolling the rolls, put them in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. Then you can take it out and cut it across. You need to cut the salmon roll carefully, without squeezing the pita bread.
  7. A sharp knife works well. It is better to cut immediately before use. We usually make it the day before the event and cut it before the table.

  • Sour cream – 100 ml

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare the necessary ingredients. Salmon can be used lightly salted or marinated.
  2. Grate feta cheese or other soft sheep cheese on a coarse grater.
  3. If you use feta cheese, do not add salt!
  4. Place the grated cheese into a deep salad bowl along with sour cream. Wash the dill sprigs and chop them, add to the cheese. Press the peeled garlic cloves into it.
  5. Cut the red fish into medium cubes and add to the salad bowl. Mix everything carefully.
  6. Spread a sheet of lavash (rectangular) on the work surface and grease it with the prepared filling: thin or thick - according to your taste.
  7. Roll the filled pita bread into a roll and place in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes. The colder the lavash roll with salmon and feta cheese is, the easier it will be for you to cut it.

Lavash roll with lightly salted salmon

Ingredients:

  • Armenian lavash - 1 sheet;
  • Lightly salted salmon - 400 gr.;
  • Processed cream cheese - 250 gr.;
  • Curd cheese - 140 gr.;
  • Parsley - 1 bunch;
  • Green onion - 1 bunch;

Cooking method:

  1. One of the ways to prepare a very famous cold snack is from pita bread and any red fish, be it salmon, trout, or pink salmon.
  2. As a “highlight” of this recipe, I took the idea of preparing my favorite “Kyoto” roll, which contains, in my opinion, a wonderful combination of cream cheese and green onions.
  3. Well, if you combine the usual recipe for making a pita roll with salmon and the roll indicated above, you get what I got below.
  4. This is how I prepared my cold appetizer for the holiday table.
  5. We cut off the white bases of the onion and chop the green feathers as finely as possible.
  6. Also finely chop the parsley sprigs, mix the green onions with parsley into a single green mass
  7. Gently and evenly spread a sheet of fresh Armenian lavash (if you don’t take fresh one, it will be difficult to wrap it, as it will break) with a thin layer of processed cheese, you must definitely coat the top part of the lavash, otherwise the rolls will unroll
  8. As soon as you have finished with the processed cheese, coat the base of the flatbread with a layer (the entire 140 gram package) of curd cheese, in a strip of about 1.5-2 cm.
  9. Sprinkle a strip of chopped onion and parsley on top of the curd cheese; sprinkle the remaining greens in the middle of the pita bread coated with processed cheese.
  10. Cut the skin off a piece of lightly salted salmon and cut the salmon into very thin slices.
  11. To prepare this appetizer, I highly recommend salting the salmon yourself, since in the store, vacuum-packed fish are usually over-salted
  12. Place the salmon pieces evenly over the entire surface of the pita bread in a checkerboard pattern.
  13. As you can see in the photo of the recipe, the base of the pita bread and its upper part remain not covered with fish,
  14. Now, starting from the very bottom, tightly tucking the pita bread over the entire width, we twist our roll,
  15. Constantly making sure that it is rolled up tightly.
  16. After the roll is completely rolled up, the cheese that was spread on the top of the pita bread will glue the roll together, and it will not unroll.
  17. Cut the roll in half (this will make it easier to place it on the cutting board), and cut several rolls from the extreme parts of the rolled pita bread.
  18. This is necessary so that “empty rolls”, which are precisely obtained by cutting the outer parts of pita bread, are not served on the festive table.
  19. Now all we have to do is cut two “selected” lavash rolls into rolls
  20. Place them on a dish, garnish with fresh herbs and lemon slices if desired, and serve immediately on the New Year's or any other holiday table!
  21. Well, this is what the resulting lavash rolls with salmon look like in the photo close-up.
  22. Please note that the core of my rolls is cream cheese and herbs, everything is as intended!
  23. Bon appetit everyone and good luck in preparing the recipe described above for this delicious cold appetizer.

It’s great if your fish is immediately cut into thin layers and without skin. Salmon, trout and chum salmon are perfect for making this appetizer. I took a more budget option - pink salmon. And I didn’t regret it! It is better to take cream cheese, without any additives. You can prepare such a dish the day before the holiday, the appetizer will not be deformed, the main thing is to cover it before serving, protecting it from chapping.

Did you know that making cottage cheese at home is simple and easy, it only takes 25 minutes.

Remove the skin from the fish, if any.

Place the finished fillet pieces in a thin layer close to each other on a rolling mat for preparing sushi, placing cellophane between the fish and the rolling mat. With the help of a mat it is convenient to wrap salmon rolls with cheese; it is a necessary thing in the household.

Now form a roll by pulling the mat towards you and pressing it tightly against the fillet. Don’t be afraid to tamp down harder; the trout roll with cheese will stick better.

Wrap the roll in film and let it sit in the refrigerator for a while. This is necessary so that the snack becomes a little stronger and can be cut into beautiful slices.

Using a sharp knife, separate small bite-sized pieces from the roll. Place them on a plate and garnish with herbs, sprinkle with a little chopped dill. It’s great to serve this fish, putting a few eggs on top of each roll, then you get a truly festive option! Have a beautiful and delicious celebration!

Advice: If a roll of trout, salmon or other soft fish with cheese turns out to be too tender and difficult to cut, place it in the freezer for a while instead of on the refrigerator shelf and let it set just slightly, then you can easily form beautiful rolls.
