Irina Khakamada and Vladimir Sirotinsky

The couple started a new life, from scratch. For a long time they lived in a rented room. And during pregnancy, in 1996, Khakamada and her husband left for America. There, their personal lives were not hunted by the press. But journalists would give a lot for a photo of a pregnant Khakamada. First of all, they moved for the sake of their children. They knew right away that their unborn child would have health problems. It will be “sunny”.

Despite this, they were not afraid of difficulties. They were ready to devote all their time to their daughter so that she could develop normally.

When Masha was three months old, Irina and Vladimir returned to Russia with her. Khakamada was offered the post of Minister of Social Protection. And she could not refuse this position. There was nowhere to live. For some time the family huddled in a boarding house. While working at the ministry, Irina and her family were provided with an apartment. But when she left this position, the apartment was taken away. There is one more interesting detail in the biography of Irina Khakamada, whose personal life and children we are discussing today. Photos of the magnificent apartment of Irina and her husband can be found on the Internet. But few people know that they only got their own home when they were 50 years old. When Masha, the daughter of Irina and Vladimir, turned 5 years old, doctors gave her a terrible diagnosis - “blood cancer”. Irina at that time participated in the political race for the presidency. But the girl’s father spent a lot of time with her in the hospital. The family rallied. They were together and did everything for each other. The husband did not insist that the ambitious Irina leave politics. On the contrary, he gave her strength to move forward.

As soon as the girl got better, the family began to travel a lot. They traveled to the Baltic states, to Europe, and conquered mountains together. But they didn’t forget that the girl needed regular blood tests. Arriving in a new place, first of all, they looked for a good hospital. But, besides this, they tried very hard to ensure that their daughter had a normal childhood - with water parks, roller coasters... They tried to erase the memories of hospitals from the girl’s memory. But she remembered - at home she often played with her loved ones in the hospital - she gave them “blood transfusions” and “injections.” She bravely held on during treatment and reassured her parents: “Don’t worry, I’ll get better.” True, one day, having heard a bad prognosis from the doctors, she thoughtfully said: “It’s time for me to go to heaven.” Irina was horrified. Then she began to have a terrible hysteria. Her husband brought her to her senses. And the girl admitted that she just wanted to fly somewhere else on a plane.

Soon the family's torment ended - the girl really recovered. Irina believes that she did the right thing when she did not give up politics. Her favorite activity gave her a return in the form of positive energy. And she shared it with her child. Now the “sunny girl” is engaged in swimming, plays in the theater, and is successfully learning English. Irina admits in an interview that she is worried that Masha will not be able to receive a normal education in Russia due to her diagnosis. If this problem is not solved in the future, when Masha grows up, she will have to leave the country. But Irina doesn’t want to do this - she loves her country.

Irina’s son Daniel is married and has already given his mother a granddaughter. Khakamada maintains excellent relations with his daughter-in-law. She even attended one of her mother-in-law’s master classes. Thanks to this, the girl even found her calling - she learned to paint furniture and dishes.

Irina also has an adopted son. This is a child from her first husband's first marriage. For 12 years, she and Irina’s son grew up together. He studied at Moscow State University, works in the banking sector, and knows several foreign languages. The knowledge that his stepmother, Irina Khakamada, tried to put into his head as a child came in handy.

Irina remembers that she was equally attentive and caring to both boys. Daniel got even more from his mother. She was stricter with him.

At the end of 2016, Irina Khakamada’s personal exhibition “Calligraphy” opened in the capital. It shows the main Chinese characters - each of them contains a whole word. She honestly admits that she still has a hundred years to reach the title of master of calligraphy. Therefore, for example, she has no right to write hieroglyphs in red ink. The central work of the exhibition is Irina Khakamada’s own path of Tao. She opens up - she tried to reflect in him her entire difficult life, her complex character. There are also hieroglyphs at the exhibition that reflect passion and love. These works are also close to Irina. It is these two things that, in her opinion, should rule the world.

Also, the father had a son, brother Shigeki Hakamada, who was raised in their family for some time. It is worth noting that her parents gave her everything - a fairly interesting nationality and a big name, which, in the future, will be recognizable on all television broadcasts.

If Irina remembers her childhood years, it is extremely rare. She notes these years as unhappy - the relationship with her parents was useless, they paid almost no attention to their daughter. In addition, for a long time it was not possible to establish warm relationships with other children and adolescents. As she herself says, the main repulsive factor for her “friends” was her appearance. Therefore, Irina felt “out of place,” which gave rise to a large number of complexes. But already, as a fourteen-year-old teenager, she decided to radically change everything.

Having received secondary education, she enters a university, where she studies economic sciences. Studying there was relatively easy, and after graduating from university, she defended her scientific work. For this activity, Irina received the title of “Assistant Professor” in 1983.

But success was still far away. At first, it was not possible to build a career due to the presence of a child in her arms. Also, no one wanted to give a job to a girl with non-standard roots. Therefore, at first she had to guard warehouses and work at a factory - at the same time, she had at her disposal a graduate from a respected university.

Irina managed to start her specialized career only in the 80s. At first, she worked as a junior researcher at the State Planning Research Institute, and then transferred to the Higher Technical Institution. In 1996, she dealt with issues of taxation, distribution of budget funds, in a committee with other deputies. The famous Times magazine drew attention to her, where she received the title of a worthy politician of the 21st century.

In subsequent years, she is engaged in various activities - she writes several books, produces her own designer clothes, speaks at various hearings, and so on. The biography of Irina Khakamada is a true, amazing story of a strong-willed person, an interesting woman, a politician and a public figure.

Biography

She was born in the Russian capital. Her father was the famous Japanese revolutionary Mutsuo Hakamada. On the eve of World War II, he found himself in exile in the Soviet Union. It was there that he met his future wife, who worked as a foreign language teacher in one of the Moscow schools.

Despite the fact that Irina lived with her parents, in a complete family, she does not like to remember her childhood years. Perhaps because the relationship with mom and dad, unfortunately, did not go well. Moreover, Mutsuo Hakamada practically did not know the Russian language, and the daughter felt that her father behaved very reservedly with her, showing practically no interest in her childhood activities. Her mother was a very sick woman, so Irina, as a child, was left to her own devices.

Relationships with peers also did not work out. She had a non-standard appearance, and she was not even invited to her school groups. Irina felt unwanted, and she developed huge teenage complexes. However, when she was fourteen, she decided to challenge fate by radically changing her life. And the struggle with my fears began, and thus a completely new personality began to form.

It seemed that there were no real prospects for the future, but after graduating from school, Irina Mutsuovna decided to enter the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University and study economics. After graduating from high school and receiving a diploma, she was able to defend her dissertation at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. For several years she worked as a senior teacher and even deputy head of one of the departments. It is not known how fate would have turned out, but the years of perestroika became for her another new round in her career. It was then that Irina Khakamada decided to try herself in the entrepreneurial field. Her company manufactured and sold waffles. And in the early 90s, another qualitative change took place in my career and life. She was the initiator of the creation of one of the political parties - the Party of Economic Freedom. It was after this that her career quickly began to move uphill. So, in 1993, she first became a people’s representative to the State Duma, and four years later she already headed one of the committees, which was associated with supporting small businesses. Her services as a politician were highly appreciated. For example, the famous American publication Time called her a politician of the 21st century. In addition, according to the results of numerous polls, she was recognized as woman of the year. But nevertheless, in 2008, Irina Khakamada decided to finally stop her political activities. After which she began to engage in completely different projects. So, with her companion she created her own clothing brand called “HakaMa”. Then she published her book in the romance novel genre. In addition, she was a radio and television presenter and still conducts her master classes. She tries to explain to the audience how to become successful and shares her enormous experience. Based on the materials from her master classes, Irina published another book, “The Tao of Life,” and more recently, “In anticipation of yourself: from image to style.”

Note that the total circulation of these publications has already exceeded one million copies. And being a talented economist, she gives her lectures to students of the Financial Academy and MGIMO. By the way, about 400 thousand people have already attended such lectures.

Personal life

Her personal life, like her career, is rich, varied and eventful. When she was only 18, she signed at the registry office with Sergei Zlobin, who was engaged in business. She was prompted to such an early marriage by a desire for independence. She said: “I dreamed of living in my own house, without the eternal care of my parents.” This marriage lasted six years. During this time, the couple had their first child, son Daniel.

The second marriage turned out to be even shorter. The chosen one was Dmitry Sukhinenko, who was the ex-president of one of the investment companies. And only in her third marriage was Irina Khakamada able to feel truly happy. Her husband Vladimir Sirotinsky gave her strong support in all initiatives and endeavors. Only with him did she find true love and complete understanding.

In 1997, when she was 42, she had a daughter, Masha. But the joy of the birth of a long-awaited child was overshadowed by a terrible diagnosis. At first, Masha was diagnosed with Down syndrome, and six years later - blood cancer. But be that as it may, the girl was cured of leukemia. And in a short time.

Irina Khakamada says that her children never stopped her from continuing to work. But she herself remains the same, with a steely character and her active life position. Otherwise, she would never have been able to survive all the trials that fate presented to her.

Our article will tell you about an unusual girl, whose story inspires many people today and gives hope for the best. Her mother is Russian politician and Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Irina Khakamada. Maria Sirotinskaya was born with Down syndrome, but her family loves her for who she is. The support of her family helped her gain confidence in herself, find many favorite hobbies, and gave her hope for happiness in the future.

The fruit of great love

Talking about her unusual child, Irina skillfully controls her emotions. She shows no signs of worry and speaks about her daughter with love and tenderness.

The girl’s father is Khakamada’s fourth husband, Vladimir Sirotinsky, who runs a financial consulting business. According to the politician, Maria was a long-suffering and much-desired child.

Irina Mutsuovna already had a son, Daniil, and had an unsuccessful experience in family life when she met her future husband. Next to him, she again found feminine happiness, felt loved and desired. Irina dreamed of giving her beloved man a child, and Vladimir himself believed that their small family should have a common child.

The couple were afraid of the risks, because Irina was over forty when she found out about the long-awaited pregnancy. The fears were confirmed. Immediately after birth (in 1997), the girl was diagnosed with Down syndrome.

Misfortune never comes alone

As Irina Khakamada told the press, Maria grew up as a healthy child. But in 2003, she was diagnosed with a terrible disease - leukemia. Fortunately, the disease was diagnosed at an early stage, and therefore the chances of success were great.

Masha was treated in Russia. Talking about this difficult period, Irina Mutsuovna speaks with great gratitude about the doctors who did everything possible for her baby. In difficult times, family and friends helped a lot.

The disease has subsided. Although Masha has to undergo regular examinations, nothing threatens her health.

Special girl

Maria Sirotinskaya, Khakamada’s daughter, like other people with the same diagnosis, loves creativity and does not know how to be offended. According to her mother, Masha is very kind and is never sad for a long time. She doesn't really like the exact sciences, but she loves everything related to dance, theater and art.

The girl was not only able to get a secondary education. She went to college to become a ceramicist.

Talking about her daughter, Irina says that she taught a lot to everyone around her. Maria treats people sincerely and loves them only because she has them. Her selflessness and frankness are disarming; in her big heart there is a kind ray for everyone.

The right to be happy

At the age of 18, Masha met Vlad Sitdikov, with whom they not only quickly found a common language, but also fell in love with each other. Today it is known that Irina Khakamada’s daughter Maria received a marriage proposal from her lover, and the couple is planning a wedding.

The announcement of the decision to get married was made live on the program “Let Them Talk,” where the couple was invited to film. Vlad and Masha talked about the lives of people with Down syndrome, shared their dreams, and boasted about their achievements. When they announced their intention, it came as a surprise to many.

Everyone has the right to happiness. Khakamada’s daughter Maria decided to marry unexpectedly for her family, but her relatives supported her desire.

Irina says that people with Down syndrome do not like to draw a line between the real world and the world of dreams, so sometimes it is difficult to understand when they are serious and when they are joking. But, apparently, Masha and Vlad are firm in their decision.

Future son-in-law of the famous mother-in-law

Who is he, Mary's chosen one? Vlad is a couple of years older than his beloved, he has the same diagnosis as her. He is the same sociable, active and kind person. The guy loves sports, and he has already achieved considerable success: Vlad Sitdikov is the world champion in the bench press in his weight category. In addition, the young man is interested in sports journalism.

About myself and the “children of the Sun”

Since Irina Khakamada began posting photos of Maria online, public interest in the girl has only been growing. Masha is not afraid of attention, she is calm in front of the cameras, she behaves confidently and sincerely when she gives interviews.

The support of family and lover helps a girl to believe in herself. Like most “sunny children”, Maria had to deal with misunderstanding, but today she has learned to laugh at old stereotypes.

At the beginning of 2017, Maria and Vlad took part in the project of the Love Syndrome Foundation. They starred in a video about special people, in which they and their friends were asked to comment on the most common misconceptions about people with Down syndrome. Masha talked about how they know how to study and be creative, Vlad shared the story of his sporting successes.

But it is very difficult for such people to do things that are familiar to many! But not at all because of health problems, but because of the cautious and unfair attitude of society.

Maria and Vlad believe that by participating in such projects, they help similar people find themselves, gain confidence, and believe in their dreams. The guys performing in the video convince us that sports, science, travel, art, love are for everyone, and not for a select few.

Masha shares photos with social media subscribers. When you look at her smiling face in sunny pictures, it becomes clear that her life is actually full of joy and adventure. This means that everyone can live the way they dream.

Hoping for the best

Irina Khakamada's daughter Maria is not the only person with Down syndrome who leads a normal and interesting life.

Today, educational work is carried out by many teachers, psychologists, defectologists and doctors. Concerned people are trying to tell more about those who were born with an unusual set of chromosomes. Parents of “sunny children” do not stand aside either. For example, who learned about her son’s diagnosis even before his birth. The artist talks about the life of little Semyon, shares his photographs, and strives to convey to people that Down syndrome is not a disease, but a feature with which one can lead a full life.

According to psychologists, teachers and social educators, such children are teachable, but require a different approach. They are kind and incapable of knowingly causing harm. Social skills are more difficult for them to acquire, but patience and love can work wonders.

It is not so easy for a woman to make her way in the political world, much less make a career. Just a couple of decades ago, the male world began to allow representatives of the fairer sex into its circle. Therefore, the actions of female politicians are constantly monitored by the media and colleagues. Irina Khakamada was able to get to the top and stay there - a strong and purposeful person, whose example is now taken by many.
