StoryThe history of the academy dates back to December 20, 1966, when the Ivanovo fire-technical school of the Ministry of Education and Science of the USSR was established in Ivanovo. In the late 1990s, the Ivanovo fire-technical school of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia became one of the largest training centers for the training of fire protection specialists in Russia in full-time and part-time forms of education. 3.2.1. The selection of candidates for full-time education at the institute at the expense of the federal budget in the specialties "Fire Safety" and "Technospheric Safety" (training profile "Fire Safety") is carried out by the component bodies at the place of residence. 3.2.2. The number of citizens admitted to the first year of the institute for training at the expense of the federal budget is determined within the limits of state assignments (target figures) established annually by order of the Russian Emergencies Ministry. 3.2.4. All incoming personal and educational cases are considered by members of the admissions committee of the institute. The selection committee makes a decision on the admission to the entrance examinations of persons whose personal and educational files are drawn up without violations. 3.2.7. A month before the start of the entrance examinations, the personnel department and the faculty of distance learning of the institute send calls for entrance examinations to the constituent bodies. 3.2.8. Candidates for study pass an additional entrance test in mathematics, pass a professional psychological selection and pass the standards for physical training on the territory of the institute (Table 3). 3.3.1. Candidates for higher professional education in the chosen specialty for places with payment of tuition fees submit the following documents to the selection committee:

Persons in the public service, as well as citizens sent by the component bodies of the Federal Fire Service of the EMERCOM of Russia to study at the expense of the federal budget, have the priority right when entering training on a paid (contractual) basis. 3.3.4. Acceptance of documents from persons entering the Institute only on the basis of the results of the Unified State Examination ends on July 25, 2011. 3.3.5. Acceptance of documents from persons entering the institute on a part-time basis for places with payment of tuition fees ends on July 25, 2011. Entrance tests4.1. Entrance examinations for admission to the institute are carried out in order to determine the ability of candidates to master the relevant educational programs of higher professional education. 4.2. For the period of entrance examinations and enrollment of citizens for the first year at the institute, subject examination and appeal commissions are created, the formation procedure, composition, powers and activities of which are regulated by the relevant provisions. 4.3. The admission committee of the institute accepts certificates of the results of the Unified State Examination, the results of additional entrance tests in mathematics and physical training as the results of entrance examinations. Applicants submit, at their discretion, originals or copies of certificates of USE results. 4.4. A candidate for this year's graduates must submit an application at their school by March 1, 2011, indicating the relevant educational subjects in which he will take the USE. 4.5. Candidates for admission from past graduates who do not have USE results must register by March 1, 2011 for the USE at their place of residence with the authorities responsible for conducting the USE in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, or by July 5, 2011, register with the admission committee of the institute for passing the exam in accordance with the Procedure for conducting the exam, approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. 4.6. The Institute has the right to establish a minimum number of points based on the results of the Unified State Examination, confirming the successful completion of entrance examinations in general education subjects, exceeding the minimum number of points established by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science, confirming the development of a general education program of secondary (complete) general education, but not lower than the minimum number points established by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science. 4.7. The establishment of the minimum number of points cannot be changed by the institute. 4.8. The original documents on education and the results of the Unified State Examination, applicants included in the list recommended for enrollment, submit to the selection committee before August 4, 2011 inclusive. 4.9. The admission committee of the institute has the right to independently apply to the Federal database of certificates for confirmation of information about the results of the USE entering the institute and confirmation of the accuracy of the information contained in the provided certificate (application) on the results of the USE. 4.10. Applicants admitted to certification are given an examination sheet of the established form with his photograph, sealed with the official seal of the institute. Exam sheets are filed in the personal or educational file of the applicants. 4.11. Persons who did not appear at the entrance examination for a good reason, by decision of the admissions committee when providing an official supporting document, are allowed to be certified in parallel groups or individually until the expiration of the period of their full completion. The procedure for filing and considering appeals5.1. Based on the results of the entrance examinations, the applicant has the right to file a written appeal with the Appeal Commission about the violation, in his opinion, of the established procedure for conducting the test, and (or) disagreement with its (their) results (hereinafter referred to as the appeal). 5.2. The appeal is submitted by applicants personally after the announcement of the results of the interview. Consideration of appeals is carried out within a day after the date of familiarization with the examination papers. 5.3. The applicant has the right to be present during the consideration of the appeal. The applicant must have an identity document and an examination sheet with him. 5.4. With a minor applicant (under 18 years of age), one of the parents or legal representatives has the right to be present, except for minors recognized in accordance with the law as fully capable before reaching adulthood (Family Code of the Russian Federation. Collection of Legislation of the Russian Federation, 1996, N 1, Art. 16 ). 5.5. The meeting of the commission is recorded, the result is announced to the applicant. The decision of the commission is final and not subject to revision. 5.6. The decision of the appeal commission drawn up by the protocol is brought to the attention of the applicant against signature. Enrollment procedure6.1.
