  1. We divide the meat into not very thin strips. Sprinkle with sauce and let marinate (about half an hour).

Let's prepare delicious breading in french style, with the addition of cheese and spices. Let's completely eliminate deep frying and frying in oil, and bake the nuggets in the oven instead. So, instead of classic fast food, we will have light, healthy, and at the same time incredibly tasty option chicken nuggets. Try it!

Prepare the ingredients according to the list.

Beat the chicken fillet to a thickness of about 1 centimeter (you can use chicken thigh meat instead of chicken breast).

Salt and pepper the fillet on both sides, and then cut into portions of the desired size. I cut the fillet into strips 1.5-2 centimeters wide and 6-7 centimeters long.

Place the prepared fillet in a deep container, pour kefir or yogurt, stir and leave for 40-60 minutes to marinate the meat. If time permits, the meat can be marinated for more long time.

Meanwhile, prepare the breading. Grind the crackers to fine crumbs and grate the cheese.

Combine crushed crackers and grated cheese. Add spices to taste. I add a mixture of dried Mediterranean herbs and paprika. And also, since my crackers are unsalted and neutral in taste, add 1-2 more pinches of salt and ground black pepper. Mix everything thoroughly.

  1. Grate the cheese or finely chop it into strips.
  2. We cut the meat into squares, add salt and make a small cut in each, which we immediately fill with cheese.
  3. In another container, beat the eggs.
  4. Mix crackers with spices.
  5. We dip each piece into the egg mixture and then into the breading, after which we place it on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil.
  6. Bake the nuggets at 180 degrees for 12 minutes. During this time, turn the pieces over once so that a golden brown crust forms on both sides.

It is best to serve nuggets with cheese and a side dish. For example, they go very well with mashed potatoes.

Don't forget about the sauce, it emphasizes and enhances the taste of the dish.

Simple option in the microwave

No time or desire to cook? Buy ready-made chicken nuggets at the supermarket. Remove them from the box and place them on a glass plate. You can cook the meat in the microwave at 900 W for 2 to 3 minutes.

From minced chicken

  1. Take chicken fillet, grind it into minced meat in a meat grinder, salt, pepper and add finely chopped herbs.
  2. Beat 2 eggs in a bowl.
  3. Divide the sifted flour (2 tbsp) and breadcrumbs (a glass) into different plates.
  4. We form small cutlets from the minced meat. Dip them in the egg, then in the flour, again in the egg, and in the breadcrumbs.
  5. Fry minced chicken nuggets in sunflower oil for 5 minutes on each side. The frying pan must be hot.

Nuggets with sesame seeds

Nuggets fried in sesame seeds are covered with a delicious crispy crust. The meat turns out juicy and tender.

Prepare 4 medium-sized chicken breasts, 3 eggs, 3 tbsp. l. flour, 100 g sesame seeds, salt, spices.

  1. Salt, pepper and chop the meat.
  2. Try making nuggets diet-friendly by cooking them in a slow cooker. Their calorie content is significantly lower than those fried in a frying pan in sunflower oil.

    So, we need the following ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • salt, pepper, spices - optional;
  • flour - 3 tbsp. l.;
  • breadcrumbs - how much will take;
  • 2 eggs.

Cooking algorithm:

  1. The meat must be washed, dried and cut into portions. Salt them and season with spices.
  2. Beat the egg, add flour and mix. Pour the crackers into a plate. Grease the multicooker bowl with vegetable oil. Just lubricate! Meat should not float in it. Select the “Frying” mode, cooking time – 15 minutes.
  3. Dip each piece of chicken into the egg-flour mixture, coat in breadcrumbs and place on the bottom of the bowl, where we fry each side for 6 minutes. Three minutes of this time will be spent heating the bowl.

2. Transfer the prepared pieces to a bowl and marinate. To do this, salt and pepper the meat. Add turmeric, paprika, chili pepper, dried garlic, as well as olive oil and soy sauce. Mix the contents thoroughly and cover with cling film. Place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to marinate the meat thoroughly.




3. In a separate bowl, prepare beaten eggs with milk, wheat flour, and breadcrumbs. Tip: you can make your own crackers from “yesterday’s” loaf. If desired, you can add some spices to the breading: turmeric, garlic, paprika and pepper.

  • 4 tbsp. l. wheat flour

  • 150 ml vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp. chicken seasonings

How to cook chicken nuggets at home:

Wash the meat thoroughly in cool water. Using paper napkins, dry the chicken fillet to make it easier to work with. Cut the fillet into rectangular pieces, trying to ensure that they are approximately the same size.

Salt and season the pieces of meat on all sides with spices. I used a ready-made chicken seasoning that contains turmeric, paprika, curry, coriander, dried garlic and ginger.

Let's prepare the ingredients for the breading. Thanks to it, chicken nuggets at home will turn out very tasty and juicy. Pour sifted wheat flour and breadcrumbs into separate bowls. You can prepare them yourself. Dry the bread until golden brown in the oven, and then grind in a blender until crumbly. Place the egg in a separate bowl and beat a little with a fork.

Now let's start breading. First, dip a piece of meat in wheat flour, as required by the recipe for making chicken nuggets at home.

Then dip into beaten egg.

Next, roll the chicken fillet in breadcrumbs.

Pour odorless sunflower oil into a deep fryer, small saucepan or deep frying pan. Let it get very hot, then carefully place the breaded chicken fillet into it.
