When serving, do not forget to serve the fish with the vegetables with which it was cooked in the oven.

Pollock in tomato cream sauce

  • pollock – 0.7 kg;
  • carrots – 0.3 kg;
  • onions – 0.2 kg;
  • fresh dill – 50 g;
  • tomatoes – 0.4 kg;
  • flour - how much will be needed (about 100 g);
  • sugar – 5 g;
  • salt, spices - to taste;
  • vegetable oil - how much will it take to fry fish and vegetables;
  • cream 10 percent fat – 0.2 l;
  • bay leaf – 1 pc.

Cooking method:

  • Prepare the pollock by washing, cleaning, gutting and drying it. Cut crosswise into small pieces about one centimeter wide.
  • Add salt and spices to the flour. Dip each piece of fish in it.
  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the fish in it on both sides until half cooked. Let the oil drain.
  • Peel and wash the carrots, grate them on a coarse grater or cut them into thin slices using a vegetable peeler.
  • Remove the skins from the bulbs. Cut each onion into 4 parts. Cut into thin slices and divide to make quarter rings.
  • Fry the vegetables in oil until they are completely soft.
  • Wash the tomatoes and make a cross-shaped cut on each one. Boil water and place tomatoes in it. Blanch them for 2 minutes, then remove with a slotted spoon, cool and peel. Cut the tomato pulp into small cubes or grind it using a blender until pureed.
  • Place pollock pieces into a baking dish. Place fried onions and carrots on top. Add mayonnaise.
  • Pour sugar into the cream and mix it with the tomatoes. Pour this mixture over the fish.
  • Place the pan in the oven preheated to 200 degrees. Simmer the fish in tomato cream sauce for 30 minutes. 5 minutes before readiness, sprinkle thickly with finely chopped fresh dill.

The fish turns out very tender and tasty, and it looks very appetizing.

Pollock with onions, carrots and cheese

  • pollock fillet – 0.7 kg;
  • carrots – 0.4 kg;
  • onions – 0.3 kg;
  • lemon juice – 20 ml;
  • vegetable oil - how much will be needed;
  • seasoning for fish with salt - to taste;
  • mayonnaise – 100 ml;
  • cheese – 0.2 kg.

Cooking method:

  • Cut the pollock into fillets, dry the fillets with a napkin.
  • Finely grate the carrots and chop the onions as finely as possible.
  • Fry the vegetables in a little oil.
  • Place half of the vegetables in a baking dish and smooth out.
  • Place the pollock fillet on the vegetables and sprinkle it with lemon juice. Sprinkle with seasoning.
  • Lay out the remaining vegetables.
  • Lubricate the vegetables with mayonnaise.
  • Finely grate the cheese and sprinkle it on the dish.
  • Place the pan in an oven preheated to 200 degrees. Bake the dish in it until it is covered with a golden brown cheese crust.

The dish can be prepared not only in a large form, but also in portioned molds.

Pollock, baked or stewed in the oven with onions and carrots - healthy and truly tasty dish, which is also quite inexpensive.
