For the next 4 years, my father worked a lot, toured constantly, and I involuntarily got used to life without him, since I hardly saw him. Now, of course, I understand that the power that accumulated in him for 15 unrealized years spilled out completely in these short four years and these were the only years he lived as he wanted. He only really punished me once when I told a lie. I remembered this for the rest of my life, and since the age of five I no longer lie. The rest of the punishments took the form of a male conversation, where you need to look each other in the eyes, always be responsible for your actions, never be afraid of anyone, think, and not repeat mistakes. I don’t consider it necessary to describe any everyday incidents here; the only thing I can add is that the atmosphere in our house was unusual. I grew up in an anti-communist environment, where everyone was brave not in the kitchen, but in real life. We lived poorly, but, really, I always had everything. In the yard and at school, everyone considered me strange, for example, when I refused to join the pioneers or told the guys that a tree hurts when it is broken, and fought for it. In my life, I attribute everything that happened before the death of my father to the period of “childhood,” since this event forced me to grow up, although I was only 9 years old. As my father’s successor, I write other songs. They are hard to promote. But I am counting on a handful of spiritual rebels who do not want to put up with this situation.

FEARED BOTH GOD AND THE DEVIL

After the death of his father, a split occurred in the family. My uncle and grandmother suddenly converted to Orthodoxy, and my mother... They lived together for 12 years, she got used to following him. She was just confused.

I got my freedom from my mother. I went through basements and street life. But with Grandma and Uncle Volodya it’s the other way around: we get up at five in the morning and walk to church on an empty stomach. Service, confession, communion. I was so intimidated there! I remember I had a dream: to leave the temple, slip and die - I was so afraid of both God and the devil.

I began to grow up, ask questions, and began to study history. Man is a rather lazy creature. Few people want to get to the bottom of the truth: they have already thought for you, and you were born to the same parents, for whom everything was already decided. They introduce you into this society. You don’t have time to think for yourself - you are constantly fed with other people’s thoughts.

That's why I only studied for one day at the Institute of Culture. I realized that I would hate music if I stayed where music was taught like mathematics. I thought: why should I study the patterns of other musicians, I’d rather look for my own patterns. Moreover, I have paternal genetics, there is a predisposition. Musical instruments were quite easy for me.

“DONBASS IS A SORT SUBJECT”

- “Mirimir” is the name of my group. I like this word. It has many meanings: peace the world, or peace and peace. I am the world and the whole planet is the world.

Man is given a supra-instinctive perception of reality. The rest of nature is programmed for instincts. This is how animals live. But a person has no ceiling.

The word “Mirimir” came to me in Lugansk, I lived there for a long time. By the way, the Ukrainian authorities entered my data into the list of the “Peacemaker” website as a separatist. I’m always eager to go there to the concert, but my loved ones won’t let me in. They say they will kill me there.

Donbass is a sore subject for me, I wrote the songs “Brotherly Peoples”, “Ukraine and Russia”. I was shocked when the war started in Donbass in 2014. My blood was boiling. I was still drinking alcohol back then. Once, drunk, my friends forcibly removed me from the bus. I was going to fight. But then people taught me: “Your weapon is a song.”

IF I GET RICH, I WILL SET IN THE CRIMEA

Last summer I gave 50 concerts in Crimea and fell in love with the peninsula. By the way, you can live there in the off-season: rent a house - the prices are affordable, although the products are expensive.

If I ever manage to earn money for at least some hut, I will leave for Crimea forever. I will settle in Gurzuf. If I live to old age, I will definitely live there. Together with the children, if they want.

“I AM NO WORSE OR BETTER MY FATHER”

All my life they have been trying to prove to me that nature rests on children and that I am not worthy of a father. I do not agree with the role imposed on me. I saw how Nikita Vysotsky was broken, repeating every time that his father was a genius. The day before, until late at night, Averin’s lawyer was studying the materials in the investigator’s office with the musician’s widow Tatyana. 27 years after the death of her husband, she received victim status. Averina is sincerely perplexed why they have been trying to make Talkov’s murder the mystery of the century all this time? After all, back in 1993, the best criminologists in the country announced their conclusions: the fatal shot for the singer was made by his concert director Valery Shlyafman.

October 6, 1991. Igor Talkov is greeted on the platform of the Moskovsky railway station in St. Petersburg. Surrounded by bodyguards, he goes to the pier, where the cruise ship starts from here. Near the ramp, singer Aziza and her personal security guard, kickboxer Igor Malakhov. On board the ship, Talkov gives an interview in which he explains that Shlyafman is not just a manager for him, he is his closest friend.

Sports Palace "Yubileiny". Behind the scenes, a scandal typical of show business takes place: Aziza’s security guard, Malakhov, demands that Talkov perform in front of her, as they say, as an opening act. A fight breaks out. Talkov has a gas pistol. Malakhov has a revolver.

The bullet hit the musician directly in the heart. Malakhov was put on the all-Union wanted list. But soon he himself came to the department. After a series of confrontations and investigative experiments, all suspicions were removed from Malakhov. It turned out that he was shooting in the air. Investigators are sure that Shlyafman snatched the revolver with the last cartridge. He pulled the trigger, most likely by accident. Shlyafman manages to leave the country and obtain Israeli citizenship. He was beyond the reach of our justice. And the detectives decided to suspend the investigation. For many years, Talkov's director remained silent. And when he finally decided to talk with journalists, he shifted all the blame for the death of the iconic musician onto Malakhov.

Malakhov himself never gave a single interview until the end of his days. Many thought that he was also hiding abroad. But it turned out that Aziza’s security was in vain. The doctors were unable to save him. Now the artists, who in one way or another knew all the people involved in this story, say that Malakhov allegedly confessed to what he had done.

Alexey Glyzin, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation: “I met him six months after the murder, he told me that it was an accident. I think that he was involved in the death of Igor Talkov, he fired a shot.”

The court found Malakhov guilty only of illegal possession of weapons. By the way, he destroyed the main evidence - that very revolver: he dismantled it and threw it into the Neva. The son of the deceased artist, Igor Talkov Jr., believes that Malakhov probably doubted all his life: was it true that his bullets, as criminologists found out, did not hit Talkov? Was Shlyafman’s third shot really fatal for the singer?

Igor Talkov, son of Igor Talkov: “Malakhov, in general, was a bandit. He had an illegal weapon, that is, he had to twist something there, twist it around. Someone needs to pay, but I don't think he does. He may have believed that he might have accidentally shot his father.”

In any case, Talkova’s widow and her lawyer have no doubt about the results of the investigation. They intend to put an end to the high-profile case. After all, according to the laws of our country, a person accused of a crime can now be convicted in absentia. Even if his extradition is impossible. This, says Nina Averina, will be both legally correct and a kind of tribute to the memory of the legendary musician who was killed, but no one answered for his death.
