Drain water from boiled potatoes. Mash the potato pieces until pureed. Add salt, pepper and a little butter. Once again, knead and mix until the butter is completely melted and the spices are distributed.

At the same stage, you can add spices to your taste: turmeric, ginger, dry dill or dried onion.

Add a raw egg to the mashed potatoes. Stir quickly with a spoon so that the egg has time to soak into all the potato filling and does not form lumps.

Finally, add the pre-sifted flour. Mix well with a whisk or spoon. You can replace flour with semolina. After adding flour, leave aside for 5-7 minutes.

Grease the form with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Squeeze potato nests out of a pastry bag onto a baking sheet or baking dish. You can use a spoon just by building a platform for stuffing. How to cook meat nests with cheese in the oven

If you purchased goulash or a piece of pulp, wash and pat dry. Remove the films and cut the meat and fat into small pieces. Peel the onion and cut it into four pieces. Scroll the prepared meat, lard and onions through a meat grinder. If you have ready-made homemade minced meat, then chop only the onion slices and combine with minced meat.


Throw in a fresh egg and mix it in. Add coarse salt and pepper, mix again. Optionally, you can add a clove of garlic, passed through a garlic press.


Mix the meat platter well and beat off, then the nests will be more juicy and tender. If the stuffing turned out to be dense enough, pour in a tablespoon of warm water and mix the mixture thoroughly.

Wash the tomatoes and place on a towel to drain the water. Cut into circles no more than five millimeters thick. Grind the cheese with a coarse grater or cut into thin slices. With a spoon or hand, separate the required amount of meat mixture and roll into smooth balls. Make meatballs out of them. Put the finished products in a baking dish. It is best to cut the onion with a knife. This is what all professional chefs do, since grated onions quickly lose their juice, and during heat treatment, the dish may not have enough moisture. To finish the preparation of minced meat, you must also add salt, pepper and spicy herbs to it. If the minced meat is well kneaded, then you do not need to add an egg to it.

To prepare the filling, you need to fry 0.5 kg of champignons in a pan, and onions are also added to the finished frying.



At the next stage of cooking, you need to properly form the nests. To do this, the resulting brick of minced meat must be divided in straight lines into 8 parts.


Then each square is given the shape of a nest, and the recess of the mold is filled with mushroom filling.





You can bake such nests on a baking sheet or in a tray with high sides. The oven temperature must be at least 200 degrees.



Approximately 25 minutes after the start of baking, sprinkle each nest with grated cheese. This must be done at the end of cooking so that the cheese does not burn.
