The best catchy homemade lures for perch fishing in winter

Often, perch fishing enthusiasts can be easily distinguished by their short rods and energetic hand waves. These fishermen do not move too often on the ice of the reservoir, drilling more and more holes, immediately trying to fish them with the help of a whole set of lures.

If they manage to find a place where the perch stands, then their catch will be quite significant. The rest of the fishermen immediately gather around the successful fisherman, drill a large number of holes and begin to make the school of fish much more modest.

Spoon "Boat"

If we talk about lures designed for catching perch in winter, then here you can use various sheer lures, which are great for fishing at different depths, with different flow rates and different fishing styles.

In particular, in shallow water, where the current is almost completely absent, the so-called first ice floes will be most suitable. They are characterized, first of all, by the minimum weight, which allows them to glide at a minimum speed, easily deviate from the vertical axis even at shallow depths.

Around mid-January, trophy perch are best caught at medium to deep water. In this regard, it is better to take the bait with a larger mass and a not too wide body, boat spinners will be the most suitable. They will play excellently even at serious depths and in serious currents.

Spoon "Lodochka" is one of the most catchy today. It consists of two main components, its dimensions can vary from 35 to 70 mm, depending on which fish you plan to catch.

It is not too difficult to make this spoon on your own, the main thing is to follow a certain sequence of actions:

  • First, make two blanks, and the thickness of the metal elements should be approximately 0.3-0.4 mm. This is due to the fact that certain depressions will need to be pushed through them;
  • Take a round bar, the diameter of which should be about 6 mm - it is intended for the production of a punch;
  • In both metal blanks, the recesses are made approximately the same.... As a result, you should get approximately the same boat-shaped petals;
  • Using a soldering iron it is necessary to irradiate both blanks - one from the outside, the other from the inside;
  • Finished petals are soldered to each other, they will first need to be connected using a medical clamp or other similar method;
  • You will need to remove excess solder and go through the spoon with a small file. Immediately mark the areas where the holes for the winding rings will be located. They are drilled with a thin drill, the diameter of which should be no more than 2 mm;
  • At the last stage you need to attach all the necessary winding rings and install the tee.

Outwardly, this bait is very similar to a real leaf. It is made from copper, bronze or silver sheet, the thickness of which should be about 0.4 mm.

The sequence of work for the manufacture of this spoon is as follows:

  • First, the workpiece should be cut to length. It is tightly clamped in a vice and a slight bend is made, and this is done in such a way that the transverse gap does not exceed 2 mm;
  • A blank is cut from a metal sheet, immediately it should be processed with a file or file;
  • After that, holes are made through which the fishing line and tee will be fixed. For this, a soft wire or a hook shank of sufficient length is suitable;
  • The upper part of the spoon is soldered in this way so that its thickness is about 2 mm. Excess material is removed with a fine file;
  • A tee is mounted on the top of the spinner, and it can be equipped with a so-called polymer droplet.

Such a spoon will be most suitable for fishing at a depth of about two meters.

Homemade winter baubles "Rhombik"

It is made in artisanal conditions from brass, copper, cupronickel, and the thickness of the metal sheet should be about 0.4 mm.

In order to make this bait, you need to use the following tools:

  • Scissors or a hacksaw for metal;
  • Soldering iron, the power of which should not exceed 40 W;
  • File;
  • Lead solder;
  • Soldering acid;
  • Small vice;
  • Hammer and so on.

In order to be able to reliably solder two crowns together, you can use a special design that will fix them well. The first step is to make a custom template on paper, cut it out and stick it onto sheet metal. Scissors cut out the workpiece from which the bait will be made.

There should be at least two such blanks. Along the long axis, they are fixed in a vice, where they are carefully bent at an angle of approximately 120 degrees.

Now you need to make ears through which the fishing line and tee will be attached. The most convenient way to make them is from pins. These blanks are connected to each other with concave sides and carefully soldered. Excess solder is removed with a soldering iron, after which you can safely use it.

The easiest way to make this bait is with a corrugated water pipe. The production process is very simple, and the bait is distinguished by its catchiness. A classic lure of this kind has a single hook, however, it can also be made equipped with a suspended tee.

However, in the latter case, you will need to mask it with threads and silicone cambric. The manufacturing process itself is quite simple, the main thing is to carefully solder it along the entire length of the spoon and remove excess solder.

Lures-tubes

This bait is economical to manufacture, it is made from materials that are always at hand. It is worth noting that such a spoon has excellent catchability. For the construction of such baits, you can take both tubes and all-metal rods.

  • First, cut the required length of the workpiece... This can be done both with a hacksaw for metal and with an angle grinder. The workpiece should be carefully processed with nippers and coarse sandpaper. Now they take a center punch and mark where the holes needed to pass the corresponding rings will be located.
  • In the next step drill these very holes. it remains only to install one or two tees, place a throughput ring through which the fishing line will be fixed. It should be noted that the largest weight of the bait, both hollow and made from a solid bar, should not exceed 7 grams with a length of about 5 cm.

Thanks to this bait, you can catch a trophy individual at a depth of about 6-7 meters. It will be well suited not only for perch, but also for a number of other fish species.

Fishing lures for zander in winter at medium to deep depths

Spoons designed for pike perch are fundamentally no different from products designed for perch. The only key difference is the need to use a thinner hook, as the pike perch swallows the bait more deeply and greedily than the perch.

In this regard, it is necessary that the hook easily slides down his throat.

Pike perch is a very careful fish, so you should make a spoon that will be as similar as possible to a real fish, otherwise it may not bite at all. As a basis, you can take some well-known sample.

In principle, the entire technological process for the manufacture of bait exactly repeats the work aimed at the production of bait for perch.

Hook and loop must be soldered tightly and cannot be replaced, since pike perch is quite a strong fish, it can bite off the fastened tackle or even tear it off during one of the strong jerks. You need to surround the spinner closer to the tee - this way you will be able to achieve its high-quality play in the water column, they do this with the help of lead solder.

Homemade lure for catching winter pike perch - "Poluromb"

This bait is made from copper sheet. First, markings are carried out on a copper plate. The most convenient way to do this is with a sharp object. You can cut it with scissors for metal, trimming around the edges by about a couple of millimeters.

Carefully clean one side with fine-grained sanding paper. It will be further used for soldering. Here, in the central part, a small groove is made.

Along it, the workpiece is folded in half so that the angle is around 120 degrees... Sharp corners are connected to each other and carefully soldered. Do this as carefully as possible, in the future you will have to remove excess solder with a small file.

Small rings are made of thin wire and soldered, one on each side. the whole boat of the future spoon is filled with solder, and then polished with a special paste. A strong tee is fixed on one side.

Where to buy winter perch baubles?

Today there is a fairly large number of fishing shops, where lures for both winter and summer fishing for perch are presented in a fairly large number. First of all, it is worth noting that you first need to decide in which particular reservoir the fishing will be carried out. The fact is that the choice of this or that bait will largely depend on this.

In addition, there are different kinds of online shopping where the choice is much greater. You can generally use the official websites of manufacturers of fishing lures to order lures.

The best catchy winter perch lures

The most catchy lure among experienced fishermen is considered to be a vertical lure, and it is ideal not only for perch, but also for pike perch and pike. In terms of the efficiency of its work, it can be compared with balancers. If the perch is actively biting, making frequent bites, then a sheer spoon is most suitable.

Its main distinguishing feature is the presence of only one hook, which allows you to very quickly remove the fish from the hook and make the fishing process even more intense.

It is also worth noting that a certain dependence of the number of bites on the size of the spoon was noticed: the smaller the bait, the more often the perch will bite. However, in this case, the size of the fish will not be too large. Large spinners allow you to catch larger specimens, but the wait will take much longer.

It is optimal to select the bait, the length of which will be about 4-5 cm.

The most interesting baits for perch are considered to be the following brands of bait:

  1. Eco-Pro Favorit;
  2. Captain;
  3. Nils Master Hanski;
  4. Nautilus;
  5. Hali Lindroos-Luxus;
  6. Eco-Pro Alaskan;
  7. Nils Master Snub-Head;
  8. Eco-Pro Nirvana;
  9. Nils Master Dueler;
  10. Eco-Pro Yeti;
  11. Eco-Pro YETI;
  12. Nils Master Raptor.

How to troll in winter?

In order to catch as much perch as possible in winter, you should not go to bodies of water rich in snags or a large amount of aquatic vegetation. It is best to look for areas where there are deep holes and dumps. As a rule, perch, closer to the beginning of winter, occupies a certain place, where it waits out all the cold.

However, on the first and last ice, perch often goes to the shoals near the coast, where it actively feeds, besides, the water here is very rich in oxygen.

If you look from the outside, trolling in the winter may seem rather primitive - the fisherman occasionally swings the fishing rod to create a semblance of a game of bait. The main principle of trolling under the ice is to constantly irritate the fish with a shiny lure.

If it was possible to find a wintering place for a perch, then the constant flickering in front of the eyes of some bright object will infuriate him and force him to take a bite.

If there are no bites at all, you can look for fish elsewhere. It happens that the perch simply does not show interest in a standard spoon. To cope with this problem, you can attach bloodworms or other live bait to one of the hooks of the tee.

Bloodworms will not spoil the game of the bait in any way, but they will spread the smell, provoking the fish to bite. If you managed to catch at least one fish, you can put its eyes on the hook - this will significantly increase the number of bites.

With the right approach, it will be possible to catch a fairly large number of fish, and the perch in the winter months practically does not react to weather conditions.
