  What taste technoplankton prefers carp. Technique fishing carp on technoplankton

The silverhead is considered a large freshwater fish, but only a few fishermen managed to catch it with a bait. When hunting for such prey in the course were such nozzles as peas, worms, maggots, but such bait did not always give the desired result. Today, many people practice fishing for silver carp on technoplankton, only such products have a positive effect when hunting for the fish in question. In our article we will talk about what the bait is and why the silver carp likes it. Get acquainted with the technique and equipment for fishing.

According to experienced fishermen catching a carp on the technoplankton is considered almost the only effective way to catch this fish. The bait in question combines a variety of crushed feed. This product comes to the fishing stores in the form of a tablet, which can be easily put on the snap.

Many fishermen prefer to catch on the plankton, made with their own hands, and this technology is constantly being improved. Each picks up their recipes, changes the basic composition of the main ingredients. People who do not have skills in using the press fall asleep the pre-mixed mixture in special feeders, to which several hooks are attached.

Than technoplankton attracts silver carp

The store technoplankton is made in the form of a barrel with a central hole for fixing on the gear. Such a bait may smell like anise or bloodworms, but some items smell like honey or blood. After casting the destruction of the mixture occurs with the release of special odors and this. Then the fish actively swallows food and gets on one of the hooks.

Tip!   When fishing on technoplankton, try to feed the bait to a depth in such a way that it dissolves a little and forms cloudy spots in the water column.

Many fishing lovers make their own bait. So that she leaves behind a muddy mark in the composition add special ingredients, such as bran, crushed crusts or other substances. When using technoplankton for silver carp in the upper layers of the reservoir, the bait should also leave a muddy mark. For fishing in the summer period, honey smells must be present in plankton, the aroma of fragrant grass is suitable for effective spring fishing. Many are experimenting with garlic, because carp is not indifferent to this smell.

The raw material composition of technoplankton may vary, but the following components must be present in it:

  • Powdered milk - used to create a muddy trail behind the bait.
  • Starch - used as a binder.
  • Wheat bran or other floating food can enhance the effect of using powdered milk.

If the carp is taken from the bottom or in the upper layers, plankton should gradually dissolve in the water and leave a trail, this attracts fish to itself. Melting usually starts from 3 minutes and ends half an hour after throwing the gear, it is important that the mixture does not start to disintegrate immediately after the throw.

The easiest way to make a technoplancon is to mix the following components:

  • 500 grams of corn flour and;
  • 300 grams of bread crumbs;
  • 300 grams of hominy;
  • 300 grams of sugar.

All raw materials are thoroughly mixed together, then add liquid honey. At the final stage of work, plankton is pressed into barrels. For this purpose, you can use a syringe without the bottom wall or any other auxiliary device.

Tackle for Technoplankton Fishing

All on technoplankton, have one common detail called silver carp wand. This product is made in the form of a rhombic or square frame with a sliding pin. Plankton cylinder is put on this detail. Leashes with attached hooks are attached to the enclosing frame parts, and these elements must be located in the zone of food decomposition, or rather in a muddy spot. During the movement on the reservoir, the fish “will move” to muddy food, it will begin to actively suck it and get hooked. And now we will get acquainted with types of equipments on a tolstolob.

Float rod

This is the main for catching the fish in question. The fact is that carp is often fed in the upper layers of water, because at a shallow depth is the most food. Not many people know how to catch a silver carp on a float. To do this, you need to buy a strong enough rod that will withstand not only the weight of a heavy bait, but also strong jerks of fish during fishing. Standard rod length from 4 to 5 meters.

Photo 2. Installation scheme of float accessories.

For effective fishing you will need a reel, this part can be or inertial. The main requirement that is imposed on the coil is durability and high strength properties. The line used monofilament with a cross section of 0.5 to 0.7 millimeters. Leads need to be installed on the snap so that they do not touch the briquette and do not go beyond the cloud of turbidity. The thickness of the fishing line for leads is 0.3 ... 0.4 mm. Hooks for catching a silver carp from the bottom should be sharply honed; here, No. 8 or No. 9 is used.

Note!   When fishing on a current or during an intermittent wind, a sliding weight is attached to the rig, which keeps plankton in one place. In the absence of wind cargo removed.

Donka

The second method of catching a silver carp is considered to be a classic donk. Such equipment has a simple structure in contrast to the float rod. To the main line you need to bind the carp stick with hooks and plankton briquette. For buoyancy bait required size.

Another type of bottom gear with a floating float increases the chances of catching fish, because the carp seldom lifts food from the bottom of the reservoir. When using such a snap bait is in limbo. The polystyrene float should be located in the water column, its task is to raise technoplankton from the bottom, and not to give bite signals.

Features of fishing

You can catch carp on technoplankton in different ways, but we will describe how to catch this fish with the help. In a sparsely populated reservoir, the bait is thrown into the most visited places with coastal vegetation and a collection of natural food. Movement of fish in the mirror of the lake can be determined by periodic bursts and jumps of fish.

Blind bait cast "for good luck." As we have said, carp will attract the smell of food and muddy trail in the water. When eating, the fish can swallow the hook and catch the bait. According to experts, it is best to hunt for the carp in the morning and evening hours. During the day, the fish goes away from the shore and it is almost impossible to get it with a fishing rod, except from a boat. Silver Carp prefers parts of a reservoir with an average depth of 2 ... 4 meters and a clean bottom. It is especially good if the fisherman finds a place near the edge at the vicinity of the sandbanks with a pit.

Poklevka carp occurs almost imperceptibly, while the float begins to slowly sink, the tip of the rod also leans to the water. In such a situation, the fisherman must make a soft hook and set the fishing rod in a vertical position, which will allow you to absorb the effort of powerful fish. Dredging in the standard way usually leads to a breakage of gear. Silver Carp is stared for a long time, and when it comes to the landing net, they make a smooth movement so as not to scare the fish. The maximum effect is achieved when using sharp hooks, so these products need to be sharpened or changed before each fishing.

More recently existed the myth of the elusive silver carp, which could be caught only by poaching methods. This miracle fish did not pay attention to any of the baits invented by the human mind. However, all myths and stereotypes were destroyed with the appearance on the shelves of fishing stores technoplankton . I don’t know for sure who first came up with the idea of inventing the technoplankton, however, without any doubt, this genius gave a “volley of Aurora”. The revolutionary invention gave rise to another trend in the art of fishing, which very quickly gained its followers - desperate catchers of the elusive, popularly called "lobyatniki" or "fatheads".

Now the Network is gradually filled with new and new facts about the mysterious Lobe - separate branches appear on the fishing forums for a focused discussion of ways to catch silver carp. As expected, the first competitions for the capture of the "elusive" are already being held, and the gear is being improved. Many fishermen even consciously retrain under the catch of this type of fish. What is so fascinating and fascinating this type of fishing? I will answer this question for myself and for my colleagues: the excitement is awakened first of all from what you catch the “elusive”. This wonderful fish is a worthy rival. And besides, we are all pioneers in this kind of fishing, not yet burdened by stereotypes ... And ahead of us are waiting for a lot of discoveries and new knowledge, riddles and riddles, the answers to which can not be found on the forums on the Internet :).

So what are we catching the “elusive”?

Again we turn for help to the World Wide Web - let's try typing in the search engine the name of the only (in any case, today) lure for catching silver carp:

« Technoplankton   - it is the pressed powder in the form of kegs. Used for float and bottom fishing such as: Carp, silver carp, grass carp, catfish. When released into water, the tablet dissolves to form a suspension cloud resembling living plankton (Natural food fry). The composition of "TECHNOPLANCTON" includes aromatic, flavoring and digestion accelerating substances (which cause appetite in fish). There are eleven varieties of technoplankton with different flavoring and aromatic properties: original, vanilla, anise, honey, blood, strawberries, raspberries, bloodworms, etc. "

So, today the most catchy bait for carp fishing is technoplankton . However, I am more than confident that in the very near future the rapid growth in popularity of carp fishing will set the appropriate rate of evolution of new baits. The catalyst for the search and new discoveries can serve as the same high cost of the only, at the moment, effective bait. Already there are many private recipes from the pioneers of experimenters. According to the authors of the new compositions, the silver carp responds to their invention no worse than the classical technoplankton. In addition, most popular recipes potentially (in the case of their effectiveness) can significantly reduce the cost of hobby for this type of fishing.

At the beginning of my practice in Lob fishing, it was strange to hear that you can successfully catch the “elusive” in:

  • carrot ,
  • cucumber ,
  • semolina ,
  • nettles ,
  • ground algae ,
  • sorrel ,
  • clover ,
  • peas   etc., mixing it with all sorts of geysers, pressing the whole composition, or making a crumbly mass of it and charging them with feeder troughs or springs. But many “fishermen” have proved that by successfully combining and correctly presenting some of the above components, you can get the bait replacing to some extent the classic technoplankton. However, none of the popular mixtures known to me were able to surpass it in catchability. And most of all, this superiority is manifested in competitions - the leaders are “working” teams exclusively with technoplankton. However, I believe that this tendency will not be sustained for long - and already at the next competitions he will give up the palm to some self-made composition.

Of course, I once did not resist the temptation to experiment to find my own way to a super bait - more efficient and less expensive. And he pushed me to this case on one of the fishing trips last season ... The bite was very good - my colleagues from Kharkov and I could boast of a decent catch by the end of fishing. A couple of hours remained before the planned departure, and the stock of "technoplankton" came to an end. To occupy himself with something and pass the time, one of my comrades took off the snap Trempel , to which the carp stick is attached, and replaced it with a conventional feeder spring, loaded with carp bait "Chip". When after the bite in the cage there was another silver carp, our surprise knew no bounds.

Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to experiment with baits, however, I managed to catch the "elusive" and without the help of the "almighty" technoplankton . Experimental amateurs, if desired, can find on the Web a mass of home-grown bait recipes. Moreover, the “chef” often describes in detail how he reached this particular composition and how he serves it to the “elusive”. On the culinary theme of homemade baits, you can dwell for a long time, which I will do in my next material - there are too many ingredients that could potentially come to taste silver carp ...

In the meantime, prepare the gear on the "elusive" ...

Bottom gear

Float gear

Perhaps the figure shows the most common modification of fishing carp tackle, often with the use of a sliding load.

Of all the problems that arise when catching the "elusive", the main ones are current and wave, which do not allow to keep the tackle in one place, which adversely affects the bite. As known, silver carp attracts turbidity, which creates technoplankton. The more "cloud" of this dregs in the water under the bait, the greater the chance that the silver carp will notice a rich concentrate of the bait. Naturally, in this case, it is much easier to catch it than in conditions of a strong current or wave, which constantly carry tackle with technoplankton away from the cloud of turbidity. The pioneers of catching a silver carp managed to solve this problem in two ways.

First way   It turned out to be very simple to perform, namely: it is enough to install a sliding load (30-100 gram) on the main line (cord) between the rod and the float. The choice of the weight of the load depends on the possibility of the rod - casting or dough, which the manufacturer claims. Because of the simplicity of execution, this equipment has become widespread in the ranks of beginner thick heads. The drawbacks of this installation, in my opinion, are manifested when the fish is hauling (often the gear is tangled), as well as when casting, which is often not long enough, especially for beginners. In addition, this tackle is still less resistant to excitement or flow, like a tackle with a sliding float, which I will discuss next.

Considering all the pros and cons of a snap with a sliding load, I would advise a beginner to begin their journey of catching this fish with it. I would also like to note that when using float tackle (as opposed to bottom tackle) there is no need to stick polystyrene balls on hooks, since they must be located 5-15 cm below the bait barrel.

The biggest mistake in the manufacture of float gear is, in my opinion, the manufacture of short leashes. I have often seen lobyatniki knit very short leashes, which as a result are at the lower level of the technoplankton barrel. In my opinion, this method adversely affects the frequency of bites and increases the number of gatherings - after all, the probability of hooking over the lip increases.

The use of short leashes can cause the fish to disappear, since the position of the hook on the lower level of the keg increases the likelihood of hooking over the lip.

Also, in conclusion, I will share one more advice: in the absence of wind and current in the pond, this rig can be quite successfully used without a sliding load. The load in this case is put “deaf” between the float and the trempel. On such equipment, as a rule, large floats are put, which are able to cope with the retention of weights from 50 grams and higher, since the weight of which, as a rule, is not less than 20 grams, is added to the weight of “technoplankton”.

Float gear with a sliding barilka float

My colleagues and I started my way in catching the silver carp with the above described gear. At the same time, we managed to successfully catch the “elusive” only at night. We only had to dream about day fishing, since already at 7-8 in the morning the tackle moved the local Neptune along the reservoir for a couple with Borey. The wave mercilessly confused nearby tackles, plus all of this, because of the constant drift of the tooling, the precious technoplankton melted uselessly without creating a cloud of sufficient concentration under the barrel of the bait. To some extent, we solved this problem with the help of a sliding load. However, this even allowed to continue to catch, but did not solve the problem in full. It just so happened that human laziness is the best catalyst for finding something new ... The constant problem with reloading gear after another “beard” made me think about the decision to keep the gear in one place.

Finding a solution to this problem in the Internet provided only one, moreover, already familiar, option with a sliding load, which did not quite suit me. Without finding a solution, I decided to try to make tackle myself with the help of scrap materials. The main principle was not a sliding load, but a sliding float, which will allow fixing the tackle with a float from two sides - from the load and from the side of the rod.

So the tackle was born, which my colleagues later called "Barilka" . As I already said, the main principle of this gear is a sliding float. You can even make such a float from a feeder tube worn on foam plastic. The main line is free (without depth stops), passes through the feeder tube and is attached to the load, which will serve as an anchor when falling to the bottom. When casting, the load is in the immediate vicinity of the feeder tube, but after the landing gear, the load pulls the main line (cord) and falls freely to the bottom, while the float with tackle remains afloat.

When catching silver carp us with colleagues did not have to deal with the need to cut   "Elusive" - if carpswallows the hook, then in 99.9% of cases the gathering is impossible (of course, if the conditions for proper hauling and reliability of the gear are observed). Therefore, the question that the load (which serves as a fixer for the main line) does not immediately reach the gear, but a few seconds after the start of the haul out is not worth it.

Float gear for self-made "technoplankton" with feeder feeder

As I have already said, I personally could not spend much time experimenting with homebrew baits. However, even after a brief study of the subject, I learned some of the basic, in my opinion, principles of success. And embodied them in the manufacture of another tackle - in my opinion, this tackle is much more efficient in coping with the task of feeding home-made baits. To date, distributed 2 options for filing homemade baits:

  • Option A . With the help of a press, a home-made keg is made (similar to the classic technoplankton), which is “charged” with classic gear.
  • Option B . Homebrew bait "charged" in the spring, which is designed for bottom fishing for carp, crucian carp, etc.

At one time I chose the second option, because he seemed to me more correct. However, in practice, I ran into a problem - the bait on the spring did not dissolve for a very long time, which meant there was no turbidity under it that attracts the carrion ... This is primarily due to the fact that when the spring is hammered, the bait for float fishing needs to be done , so that it rests on the spring, and this, in turn, is the cause of the “loosening” of the bait from the spring. Additional geyser additives in the bait did not solve the problem. Making the bait less viscous would allow it to dissolve more quickly, but in this case another problem would come to the fore - the bait often left the spring after splashing.

I decided the stalemate situation as follows - instead of a spring, I set up a feeder feeder (see figure). This solution allowed the manufacture of home-made bait of a less viscous consistency.

I am sure that all the above-mentioned versions of the “sharpened” snap-ins for capturing the “elusive” are the most effective only for today. I would not be surprised if tomorrow some dear readers will invent a more efficient way. And perhaps our descendants will ironically consider our “grandfather's” tackles. However, I repeat, you and I are pioneers in catching the silver carp, and therefore there is a lot of unknown in front of every fathead ... and from that which is even more fascinating.

Well ... that's all I wanted to tell you in this material. I think that I will soon be able to supplement it with information on the choice of the rod, reel, line (cord), personal observations of the habits of "lobato", information on the choice of the place of fishing, etc. Very successful bite!

Among the many freshwater fish that inhabit our waters, is particularly popular. Outstanding gastronomic qualities and a decent weight make this herbivorous giant a welcome trophy of many anglers.

Most often, the silver carp becomes an object of fishing, but is also popular among fans of sport fishing.

Unfortunately, besides fishing enthusiasts poachers also show great interest in these fish. Another remarkable feature of the silver carp is a passion for various algae. Even a small flock of hungry carp can quickly clear the pond from thickets.

Knowledge of the characteristics of the biology and behavior of the silver carp allows anglers to significantly improve the efficiency of fishing. A good catch will require from the angler in-depth knowledge not only of the habits, but also of the special features of the diet of this interesting fish.

Silver carp: description and behavior

The main habitat of the silver carp is the Amur River basin.   In the European part of Russia, this fish appeared relatively late.

The silver carp could not fully acclimatize; therefore, the population is replenished by individuals grown in a test tube. The carp body is oblong and wide, covered with fine silver husk along the entire length. This species of fish has an unusually wide head and eyes, which are located below the midline.

The mouth is quite large, directed upwards. Spliced gill fillers make it possible to filter water. The lines of the fins converge at acute angles. Silver Carp reaches a length of more than 1 meter and weighs 50 kilograms. Spawning occurs in late spring or early summer at a temperature of +18.

The silver carp female can lay up to 500 thousand eggs. Older individuals are rather cumbersome and often suffer from obesity. On hot days, carp in large flocks approach the shore, or swim in the upper layers of water.

In the diet of young individuals, zooplankton predominates, and in adults - phytoplankton. However, carp can eat almost any plant food, and sometimes animal origin. There are frequent cases of catching big carp on bait for predatory fish.

Habitats

Silver carp prefer stagnant water with a silted bottom, but also occur in places with a rocky bottom and a slow current. The optimal depth of such places is around 3 meters. At great depths carp are rare, because there is little suitable food.

In the warm season, carp loves to swim between the islands of plants. As a rule, relocation routes are maintained for a long time.

Calendar biting season fishing

Silver Carp feels comfortable in warm water, so do not expect activation of the bite before the water warms up.   It starts from the end of April and lasts until the end of autumn.   The maximum bite is observed in June and July. The best time to catch is morning and night.

Ways to catch a silver carp: tooling

There is a huge variety of ways to catch a silver carp. It is worth remembering that, unlike other fish of the carp family, silver carp does not fall on the float. Carp fishing occurs due to various combinations of snap bottom fishing rods. In the summertime also used equipment for fishing among the thickets.

The nozzle is prepared from peeled shoots of reeds. Shoots of young reeds will be enjoyed by medium and large silver carps. Also, another option of equipment is quite common. This tackle is designed for fishing in the bottom layers.

A sinker weighing 50-70 grams is attached to the main fishing line. The installation of the snap-in fasteners of two leads with hooks is completed. The composition of the bait depends on the conditions of fishing, but usually there is porridge, which gives the bait stickiness.

Features tackle "carp killer"

For the installation of such gear will need:

  • weight up to 100 grams;
  •   diameter of 0.15 mm;
  • main fishing line with a diameter of 0.35 mm;
  • plastic rod 20 cm long;
  • 3 medium sized hooks;

Rigging - "The murderer of a carp"

This tackle got its name due to the high efficiency of fishing in any conditions. The anatomical structure of the carp's mouth significantly reduces its diet, but the "carp killer" takes into account all these features, and greatly facilitates the feeding of fish.

There are several options for equipment, but all of them, without exception, allow you to catch silver carp in large quantities. In all variants of equipment the big float is used. A float designed to keep the network afloat is best suited for this purpose.

Through the central axis of the float, it is necessary to pass a rod preventing the overlap of the fishing line. The optimal length of such a rod is 20 cm. A swivel must be attached to the main line before mounting the rod. This will fix its position and prevent movement during casts. To the main fishing line is attached, which ends with a sinker. The optimal length of the leash with a sinker is about 25-30 centimeters.

The weight of the sinker depends on the total weight of the rig and the parameters of the rod. As a rule, a bottom rod with a high stiffness index of the blank is used for such fishing. At the same time, the average weight of the sinker is about 70-90 grams. Next you need to attach a leash with a snap. For its mounting use swivel. The length of this leash is in the range of 30-40 cm.

Before installation it is necessary to tie a special loop. The purpose of this loop is fixation. Also attached to the loop are three leashes with hooks.

Technoplankton

When throwing hooks snap can be confused with each other, so they should be stuck in a piece of bread.   After standing in water for a couple of minutes, the bread will be sodden and the hooks will be released. Hooks after the release of the bread will be right in the cloud of turbidity, which arises from the erosion of technoplankton.

The smell of technoplankton attracts the silver carp, and it begins to filter the water, pulling the leashes with hooks into its mouth. The effectiveness of such fishing will also depend on the quality of the technoplankton itself.

Tackle allows you to significantly increase the number of caught fish. For this, in fact, she got her name.

The better to lure?

The composition of bait for the silver carp can be very diverse. Despite the fact that in natural conditions this fish feeds mainly on algae, silver carp has long been noticed in a variety of porridges. Before use, cereals must be prepared according to special recipes.

Pea bait

For cooking you will need a saucepan of up to 5 liters. Prikormlivanie will require a large amount of the mixture, so you need to cook at least 1-1.5 kg of peas. It is necessary to cook on low heat for about 4 hours.

In the finished decoction, you must add semolina to obtain a mixture of viscous consistency. The resulting composition must diligently be tied up. This is best done in a large basin. This mixture can also be enjoyed by other fish of the carp family, therefore the tackle must be strong enough.

Milk bait

For the preparation of this bait we need:

  • 700 g of flour;
  • 700 g wheat bran;
  • 700 g of powdered milk;
  • 30 grams of potato starch;
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar.

Preparation of the mixture occurs in several vessels. Each of the main ingredients should be boiled separately until a sufficiently viscous mixture is obtained.

After cooking, you should combine all the components and bring to a uniform consistency. On the shore, part of the bait must be combined with sand or clay. This will allow the bait balls to collapse more slowly, and it will be more difficult for carp to eat the bait. The rest of the bait is used to charge the feeders.

Bait with breadcrumbs and cake

The love of carp fish for sunflower oil has been known for a long time. Adding a few spoons to the mixture can significantly increase the frequency of bites, but it is best to use the waste from the production of sunflower oil.

Sunflower for these purposes is perfect. Breadcrumbs and dry milk should also be added to the bait mixture. The presence of powdered milk in many mixtures due to the high content of milk protein.

To prepare the mixture will need:

  • 1 kg of makuhi;
  • 0.5 kg of ground crackers;
  • 0.5 kg of milk powder.

Since there are no cereals in the composition, you do not need to cook anything. It is necessary to diligently bring everything to the desired consistency and leave for a few hours. Use this bait is best in the feeders, and lure the zone for catching pea bait.

Technoplankton for carp fishing

Technoplankton is a mixture of barrel-shaped compressed feed. In the water, a piece of technoplankton is destroyed and creates a cloud of turbidity. The silver carp filters water and falls on hooks that fall into the oral cavity. After casting, technoplankton is dissolved in water for 30 minutes.

Ingredients

The composition of technoplankton includes such groups of ingredients:

  • fillers;
  • adhesive fraction;
  • attractants;
  • starch.

Among the fillers, cereal flour, bread crumbs and cookies are most commonly used. Fillers are heat treated. Preference should be given to instant ingredients.

Carp passion for technoplankton with oatmeal is noticed.   Among the adhesives most commonly used are dextrins and maltodextrins. The amount of these substances should not exceed one tenth of the total composition.

Attractants may be different, but sweet ones are best suited. If technoplankton is too intensively dissolved, then the amount of starch must be increased in the mixture. Starch can be successfully replaced with rice flour.

Cooking recipes

Technoplankton can be successfully made at home. There are several basic recipes. Their effectiveness is proven by the experience of many anglers.

Recipe number 1:

  • buckwheat flour 300 g;
  • ground peanuts 300 g;
  • breadcrumbs 300 g;
  • corn flour 200 g;
  • 1 spoon of vanilla sugar;

Recipe number 2:

  • corn flour 200 g;
  • dry milk 200 g;
  •   300 g;
  • fish meal 250 g;
  • strawberry essence;

Recipe number 3:

  • dry milk 300 g;
  • milk jelly 150 g;
  • ground sunflower seeds 200 g;
  • pea flour 200 g;
  • starch 100 g;
  • sunflower oil 2 tablespoons;

Technique and tactics of fishing

The technique of carp fishing is not particularly complex.

If the population of these fish in the pond is large enough, then following a number of simple rules you can always count on a rich catch:

  1. Rule number 1.   The depth of the fishing ground should not exceed 3 meters. At significant depths, carp appear rarely. The only exception may be the winter time, but at this time of the year the carp practically does not feed.
  2. Rule number 2.   Pay attention to the uneven relief of the bottom. The carp is loved to swim near a variety of shelters.
  3. Rule number 3.   If silver carps begin to float under the surface, then fishing tactics should be changed. The effectiveness of bottom gears at this time is approaching zero.
  1. Do not rush with cutting during biting.   It is best to wait for a confident tug or movement of fish with hooks in your mouth.
  2. Starting feed should be approximately 1/3 of the total amount of prikormochnogo mixture.
  3. It is best to install spare gear before going fishing.   On the beach, this process often occurs in stressful situations.

Fishing carpand perhaps not as interesting as other carp fish, but for anglers in the European part of Russia, catching this fish was a rarity recently

The invention of technoplankton helped to make the silver carp a focused exercise. The hunt for silver carps attracts anglers with the possibility of a duel with a serious opponent weighing several tens of kilograms.

Most recently, it was believed that catching carp on the bait is almost impossible. Many fishermen tried to solve this problem using unusual products, namely cucumbers, nettles, ground algae, canned corn and semolina. However, it turned out that the most effective when fishing on a silver carp is technoplankton. Thanks to him, you can fish even on the float rod or donku.

Complete set of the bottom and float rod   about the same, which can be seen when viewing the corresponding video. The differences relate only to the assembly and the presence of the float.

  • The fishing carp fishing rod itself must be strong and very powerful. This is especially the case when you are aiming at catching fish weighing 20–30 kg. The length of the rod should be 2.5-3.5 m.
  • The coil size will require 4000. 150 m of fishing line with a thickness of 3 mm should be placed in the spool. Also important is the presence of a baytranner and friction clutch.
  • When fishing on a silver carp in the spring, you can use both a stationary and a sliding sinker. It is mounted on the main line or fixed near the snap. To do this correctly, watch the video. The weight of the sinker is 30–100 g, depending on the casting distance and other factors.
  • The hook size should be 6–8.
  • Foam and feeder tube will be required as a float.

Rigging

To collect equipment for catching a silver carp, you must have a "trempel". This is a triangular structure made of wire or hard plastic. Here a pin is provided, where compressed technoplankton is placed, and leashes are fixed to the edges of the rod, as well as the main fishing line. When using this equipment it is necessary on the center ear of the donkey fix the trempel. To other ears mount the leashes along with hooks, where the foam is placed. To fix the technoplankton, a rubber stopper is used. Also, if desired, you can fix the third leash. It will be easier to understand the whole scheme if you study the corresponding video.

If you prefer to catch the float fishing rod, then you need to skip the main fishing line through the feeder tube, and then tie the sinker. The float is threaded into the top, and then the driver and the Trempele are fastened. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure that the hooks are approximately 5–15 cm lower than the technoplankton.

Bait and bait

Many fishermen who prefer to catch the silver carp, use as a bait technoplankton, available in any special store. The composition includes flavoring substances that cause appetite in predators, and flavors.

On sale you can find lures with such smells:

  • bloodworm;
  • blood;
  • vanilla;
  • strawberries;
  • raspberries;
  • anise.

Some anglers prefer homemade baits and baits, but they are effective only in certain cases. For this reason, it is worth choosing Technoplankton, which is soaked in water very slowly, with the result that a fragrant tasty cloud appears, which is a bait and at the same time bait.

Naturally, the use of such a nozzle with a non-intensive biting can turn fishing into a too expensive pleasure. Therefore, it is necessary to additionally buy varieties that decompose within 2-3 hours.

Fishing carp using technoplankton will not cause any difficulties. To do this, carefully throw the snap and put the rod on the stand. Poklevka is determined by the tip of the bottom gear, a signaling device or a float in the presence of a float rod. The bait itself dissolves within 1.5–2 hours. As soon as silver carp suitable for fragrant cloud   and begin to suck it, it will pull the hook into the mouth. After that, there will only be a hook cut.

In contrast to most other fish, the silver carp feeds on plant food - this is especially worth considering when fishing. Pitlevi carp in most cases begin in mid-June and end in late August.

Silver carp is especially active during this period. Experienced anglers say that nibble can start early in the morning and not stop all day.

Bait for silver carp

The silver carp is caught using technoplankton and vegetable baits.

Technoplankton is a compressed barrel with bait. It can be used when catching various fish. Fix it with tackle "shelf of the carp".

If you want to learn how to make technoplankton with your own hands, you can learn about it.
Also for fishing you can use some vegetable baits. When approaching, the carp will suck them and will bite accordingly.

Highlight some of them:

  1. Peas.
  2. Slices of cabbage or cucumber.
  3. Vegetables.
  4. Fruits, etc.

The main requirement for bait is its freshness. The bait should be planted firmly: the bite for the most part has to wait for a long time and poorly fixed bait falls off the hook.

Bait on the silver carp can be prepared without much difficulty at home. As for plant foods, everything is simple: it will be enough to break the bait into small pieces. And it is better to bait them in several parts on the hook.

To make technoplankton at home you will need:

  1. Pea powder.
  2. Carp bait.
  3. Powder technoplankton.
  4. Baby food.
  5. Bait "green carp".

It is necessary to mix all the ingredients in such a way that they are used in equal parts. To compress the mixture, use the mold, which will be clamped in the crown, in order to seal the mixture.

Bottom carp fishing (at depth)

First of all, when it comes to carp tackle, it should be noted that it must be very durable. Some specimens of carp can reach 30 kilograms.

Tackles that are used to catch a carp as follows:

  1. Rod, size from 3.5 to 4.2 m.
  2. The coil should be inertia-free with a friction brake to reduce the resistance of the fish.
  3. Fishing line use 0,22-0,4.
  4. Hooks are selected depending on the estimated size of the carp, but too small should not be used.

The main element of the snap is a spring. This spring is hammered by prikormkoy, and the hooks need to dress pieces of foam. This will help create a good buoyancy leash. After the tackle falls into the water, the foam expands and floats above the spring. Usually there should be no more than three leads. The length of the leads should be in the range from 5 to 7 cm.

1. Catching on plankton

Relatively recently, fishermen had the opportunity to catch on technoplankton. In this case, you need to use a special snap-in, which uses a sliding weight and a keg with technoplankton. Technoplankton dissolves in water and forms a cloudy cloud, attracting the silver carp.

Leads when fishing on plankton float above the cloud, and this allows the carp to hook on. Technoplankton contains special ingredients that increase the appetite of fish.

In order to catch on technoplankton you need to put polystyrene on hooks. This method of catching implies that the silver carp is suitable to filter the resulting cloudy cloud and hooked. This tackle brings pretty good results. And some days your catch will be very significant.

2. Catching porridge

When catching silver carp can be used to fill the springs and porridge. It can be any, but it is important to add at least one of these elements to it:

  1. Semolina
  2. Vanillin.
  3. Little cookies
  4. Bran.
  5. Honey, etc.

This will help to add to the porridge an additional taste and smell, and therefore it will be better to attract the carp. Porridge also creates a cloudy cloud in the water, which, due to the consistency of the porridge, will steadily stick in the water.

When cooking bait should be remembered that the carp does not like sharp smells. Here are some proven recipes:

  1. One kilogram of peas should be cooked over low heat to make mashed potatoes as a result.   Then, stirring you need to add 100 grams of milk powder and a pound of semolina. Stir until a very sticky consistency is formed. It is important that the peas are not burnt; this will give a negative effect.
  2. Prepare equal proportions of the following ingredients:
    • Powdered milk.
    • Breadcrumbs.
    • Cake.
    • A couple of dill pinch.

The above ingredients are mixed in one pot. Prepare the water in which you want to put a teaspoon of soda and citric acid. Then gradually add the resulting liquid to the pot. Knead until a thick consistency is obtained.

Finish the finished porridge spring and throws.   It should be borne in mind that porridge must be changed after each cast. This will increase the attractiveness of the resulting cloud, after each cast.

When bottom fishing carp there are some nuances that it is important to know the fisherman:

  1. The Silver Carp is a pretty picky fish. Therefore, he can peck on one day and not on another. If you decide to hunt a carp, then parallel to fish and other fish. This will help you in case of something not to be left without a catch.
  2. Before casting gear, be sure to hammer in the feeder with bait, and wear polystyrene on hooks. If this is not done, then such fishing is impractical.
  3. Try to shower in the same place. This will help you feed a large number of fish in one place.
  4. It is necessary to choose a place in which there will be no coastal bushes, floating tree, snags, etc.
  5. If you are using technoplankton for fishing, then put the leashes on with crumbs of bread. This will allow them to not be confused while flying. In water, the bread will simply limp and fall off, and the leashes will even out.

Carp fishing from the surface

Silver carp from the surface catch float tackle.   Consider the main components of gear for this fishing:

  1. Rods are best used carp or feeder. The length of the rod should be from 2 to 4.2 meters.
  2. The coil should be power. It will help to withstand the heavy load that the carp will create. It is best to use coils that are equipped with a rear clutch.
  3. To catch from the surface you need to use carp fishing line with a diameter of 0.3 - 0.5 mm.
  4. The hook must be very strong with a medium-sized forearm. It should not be too short, and not too long.
  5. The float must be installed such that it can withstand this weight and stand on the water.

How to catch more?

For 7 years of active hobby for fishing I have found dozens of ways to improve the bite I will give the most effective:

  1. Activator biting. This pheromone supplement most all attracts fish in cold and warm water. .
  2. Boost   sensitivity tackle.   Read the relevant manuals for the specific type of gear.
  3. Bait based pheromones.

Equipment for carp fishing

To create a snap for catching a tolstolob need:

  1. Thread the sinker through the main line.
  2. We skip two stoppers and a float through the main line.
  3. We tie the "trempel" with a trough from which hang three leashes.

The result is a snap for catching a carp from the surface.

We point out that there is also another version of equipment that eliminates the use of "trempel". In this case, at the bottom of the trough, installs a sinker on a leash, and on top there are two leashes. This snap is best used when fishing occurs on a pond with a clean bottom.

It is best to secure these gears on a cambric. That in case of need it was convenient to remove it. This may be necessary if you need to replace the tackle with a new one.

1. The process of catching

After the tackle has been thrown, you need to do a couple of suspenders. Do not forget that the sinker must completely roll along the fishing line and fall to the bottom of the reservoir. After that, you need to wait for bites. Usually silver carp is suitable to filter the resulting cloud, swallows and hook.

So that when the float sinks sharply, it is a sure sign of a bite.   After having done the cutting, start dragging him towards the shore. Just do not do it too fast. Better wear it out.

2. Nuances of catching

  1. If you saw that the float bent at an angle of 45 degrees, then - this is a sure sign - the feeder is empty.
  2. If the purchased technoplankton is poorly soluble in water, soak one barrel in advance. And when you re-tackle, install it.
  3. If the bite was not within an hour, then it is best to restart the tackle. Try to throw in one place to collect more fish.

Tackle "carp killer"

When catching a silver carp from the surface, you can use tackle with the telling name - "The Silver Carp Slayer". Tackle contains a large float, to which at a distance of 30 centimeters attached feeder with hooks. Hooks should hang below the feeder to get into the cloud of turbidity that forms in the water.

Pigeon swimming up to this cloud, sucks dregs and hooks. In this gear uses a sliding sinker, which is installed above the float. The sinker is installed in order to play the role of an anchor. The float rises vertically due to the fact that the feeder pulls down.

To make such a gear yourself you need to use the following algorithm:

  1. Through the main line we pass the sinker, weighing at least 30 grams.
  2. We launch into the line the stopper and the float.
  3. We cling to the bead;
  4. We tie the stick of the carp, which we equip with either a spring or technoplankton.   This tackle is a metal trempel with a welded stick from which leads are drawn. It will be enough to thread the base of the wand through the hole of the technoplankton and the tackle is ready. Such stick is on sale in any fishing shop.

When to catch a silver carp

1. What time of year to catch

  1. The best time of year for fishing carp is - summer.   During this period, it is especially active. A particularly large number of bites will be higher during the spawning period. At this time, he is especially hungry and will try to eat more. Do not be surprised if bites will occur one by one.
  2. Usually the best time for a bite is considered: early morning and evening.   However, in some pond bites may not stop for a whole day.
  3. Already in September, carp stops pecking and behaves passively.   Each bite at this time is worth its weight in gold. So try to do everything right.
  4. In winter, carp is not caught.   At this time, it goes deep to the bottom and buries itself in silt.

2. At what time of the day to catch, especially fishing at different times of the day

  1. It is best to catch a silver carp in the morning and evening. At this time of day, the silver carp is looking for food. Therefore, it is best to have your gear already in the water before this time comes. In this case, your chances of biting increase.
  2. During the daytime, the fish usually sinks to the bottom, and at night bites of the silver carp occur very rarely.   But do not neglect this. Leave one "fathead killer" in the water.

3. Choosing a place of fishing

Tolstolob is best caught in places where it was launched a long time ago. This fish usually keeps far from the coast: even in the morning and in the evening it does not come closer than 20-30 meters.

Bait on the silver carp

You can feed the silver carp using both purchased and home-made baits. Doubtless plus made with their own hands that you can adjust the composition depending on the conditions of fishing. Recipes bait set.

Pea bait. For its preparation, we need:

  1. 1 kg of pea porridge.
  2. 1 kg of semolina.
  3. 100 grams of milk powder.

Cook peas until a pureed consistency is formed. Remove the porridge from the stove and add dry milk and semolina. Cool porridge and knead it until a thick mass. The result should be a mass resembling dough. If there is no semolina, you can use bran or flour.

The following recipe is still quite common, for which you will need:

  1. Cornmeal - 1 kg.
  2. Wheat flour - 1 kg.
  3. Rice flour - 200 grams.
  4. Powdered milk - 100 grams;

Mix everything except milk powder and pour sweet syrup. To prepare such a syrup, use sugar (200 grams) and water (200 grams). After the syrup has been added, leave the resulting mass to soak for several hours. After two hours, pour everything in cellophane and roll it up.

This bait should be cooked a few hours before fishing.

  1. When buying technoplankton, try to take a quality product from well-known manufacturers. Low-quality technoplankton may not dissolve in water at all, which will ruin the fishing.
  2. Replace hooks if they are already in the wrong condition. Dumb hook can not catch on the mouth of the carp.
  3. If the bites do not occur for a long time, then change the place to catch.
  4. Experiment with bait. If you do not peck on one, then you need to replace it with another.
  5. Do not be upset if the carp will not quickly peck on the gear you have prepared. And catch another fish in parallel.
